the stats FULL NAME katalena rosa de la hoya AGE & DOB twenty-five, september sixth AGE RANGE 23-28. HOMETOWN miami, FL CURRENT LOCATION los angeles, CA ETHNICITY puerto rican/ecuadorian LANGUAGE english & spanish SEXUAL ORIENTATION bisexual HAIR COLOR brown/caramel/blonde EYE COLOR brown HEIGHT 4'11" WEIGHT 100 lbs DISTINGUISHING FEATURES her small stature, tattoo of a former lovers name on her left buttock | deeper perspective STRENGTHS ENERGETIC - This could be considered both a negative and a positive trait, but she's not overly happy or anything. For instance, she isn't a morning person. She is a live wire though, and once she's up she's energized for the rest of the day. She can go from eight in the morning until 4 in the morning, work and partying in those hours that she's awake. Being energetic is a huge part of her personality ORGANIZED - Although Kat is a live wire, and it may seem like she's a bit of a squirrel who can't keep her life together, she is a personal assistant after all. She grew up working in retail and also in college she often worked as a receptionist at offices across Miami and Los Angeles. She is also a compulsive shopper, and so her closet is organized by color and season. Her office/desk area is in tip-top shape. When you walk into her apartment you will notice that their is a place for everything. She has spent a lot of money at Staples and other office supplies stores to keep this up. Her computer looks like the rest of her apartment; organized. Everything has a folder and a place. SOCIAL - It is easy for Kat to make connections with people. She is great at starting conversation between herself and a stranger. She has learned that networking is a huge part of getting where you want to be. Most of the jobs she has gotten have been through a connection, and it's also a great way to find boyfriends and also to get free things when you're out with your friends or just forgot your wallet at home. She can be a little overbearing at times though, and a little quirky. BOLD - This could also be a weakness, but she has a fiery personality, and that comes with speaking her mind. She will do whatever it takes to get what she wants. She will say almost anything to anybody regardless if it might cause drama or not, but she is definitely a go-getter. You do not have to pry to get information out of her, but she will keep secrets for her friends. She's the type of girl to walk up to a hot guy and start making out with him just because she thinks he's hot. OPEN - She has done things that if a lot of people had done, they would be ashamed, but Kat is an open book. For instance, she is open about the tattoo on her bottom of one of her ex-boyfriends names. She explains it to people all the time, not necessarily because her bottom is hanging out, but because she doesn't care. She's just open about her life in general. WEAKNESSES HEART ON HER SLEEVE - Like stated, she tends to wear her heart on her sleeve. Her emotions don't stay reeled in because she is such an open person, so she tends to get hurt a lot, and with this she is emotional. It makes her come across as a little unstable sometimes. PARTY GIRL - She is twenty-five, but she seriously needs to grow up and realize that she can't go out to clubs and get drunk forever. For her it's all about having a good time. It's not cute though, going out and getting wasted, and sometimes waking up in a foreign place. This doesn't mean that she isn't respectable though. She doesn't throw her cat around at just anyone, and she's fairly responsible when she goes out. DISLIKES CHANGE - It's hard for her to cope with change. She moved from Los Angeles from Miami and left her family, but that's about the biggest change she can handle. She's had the same routine for years and she doesn't intend on changing it up anytime soon. It's part of the reason why she is twenty-five and still a party animal. SHORT - This is a weakness because being short is not really an advantage. She worked at a pizzeria once and constantly burned herself on the pizza ovens because of this. So they moved her to cashier and bussing. It's more of an insecurity though because people constantly comment on it, and she can be identified by her height. ROWDY - She doesn't know when to calm down sometimes, and it's really to her disadvantage. She has been kicked out of clubs, particularly for starting fights because of this. Most of the she just gets weird looks from people in public places who are just trying to enjoy their day. She is the girl who would streak across a golf course. SKILLS Technology savvy, dance, and can also sing. She doesn't pursue the latter two professionally. EXPERIENCE After graduating high school, Kat went to college in Miami for her first two years before transferring to Los Angeles. She majored in Business Management and graduated with honors. Working in a competitive field and the job market not being in the best position, she was forced to work mostly as a receptionist using her computing and organizational skills in an office setting. Soon enough she was set up with an agency that found work for people with her skill set. She found herself as a personal assistant to business executives for a while, and honestly she liked her line of work and not having to be in charge, which if she put her degree to it's full potential would have been her future career. Other than business executives she has worked for some managers of celebrities and high end companies. She is mostly looking to start working for celebrities and public relations people. She doesn't want to be a star, she just wants to be close to them and in touch with them. She moved in Los Angeles when she was twenty because she felt like she would have better opportunities if she moved out of Florida. Los Angeles had better companies than Miami. Also people who grow up in Florida, never really stay in Florida. |
[th] the player ALIAS Dayna YEARS OF EXPERIENCE omg 7. OTHER CHARACTERS lucia, gwen, honor, phoenix, abby, jules HOW'D YOU FIND US? anna? sid? probs sid. RP SAMPLE All Nix could say was that he was lucky that he hadn’t found his boyfriend….yeah he was still his boyfriend, lying on the floor of his flat. He didn’t know who had found Cole, but as selfish as he was, he was thankful it wasn’t him. He’d be even more fucked up if he had been the one. He had talked about this with his sister, and it was one of the first questions that she’d asked when he called her. Olivia had been amazing when he called her in a panic, crying hysterically through the phone call, staying on the phone with him while she was driving to his place. He couldn’t understand why the world had taken his best friend, and boyfriend away from him. He wondered about what had happened. It had to have been an accident. He overdosed, usually overdoses meant suicide, but it couldn’t have been suicide. Cole had been happy. Him and Nix were doing really good, they had opened up to each other and what not. Been a real couple. Nix had came out for him, it took him ten years to finally admit to himself and the world that he was bisexual. Then right when he became comfortable with it-well not completely comfortable-and happy with his choices and his life, the world ripped away his happiness. Nix hadn’t been sleeping much. It’d been a lot of nights sitting on the couch, drinking beer after beer alone. He even sat a beer on the coffee table in front of the spot where Cole usually sat. He’d been watching a lot of late night crappy television, re-runs and such, but he hadn’t retained any of what he had been watching. Mostly he was numb, but he did do a lot of thinking of about Cole. He wasn’t ready to let the man out of his life, he’d done so much for him, and he certainly wasn’t ready to move on. Tragedy had hit the Grace family in November; it wasn’t their month. The twins had lost the only people they’d loved. Jack had broken up with Olivia, and as he felt irritated towards Jack, especially since Olivia had opened herself up to him so much, he still had trouble grasping their situation as he was still stuck on his own. He glanced around his apartment, it looked like a shit hole. It was unclean, beer cans were scattered all around the living room. There were boxes in the kitchen from the diet of pizza he had taken on. He needed to get out of this place, it was depressing. Although the depression was going to follow him wherever he went, he pulled on a pair of pants, a shirt, and slipped on a pair of Vans, his usual steel toed boots took too much effort for him to lace up. He wasn’t feeling it. Before he left, he had made sure to fill up Moo’s food bowl and hold her a bit before walking out the door with his leather jacket. Once he shut the door behind him, he felt the cold air hit his face. He shoved his rough hands into the pockets of his jacket and pulled out a cigarette and a lighter. After lighting it, he walked down the street with his hands in his pockets and the cigarette hanging out of his mouth. He ended up in the park. It was the quietest place, with the least chance of him getting ran over by a car. Maybe a bicycle, but that wouldn’t be as bad. His cigarette had gotten down to the butt, and he dropped it on the ground, stepping on it. No he didn’t pick it up, he never did. He stopped walking and looked up, as if he was seeing surroundings for the first time since he’d gotten there. He rubbed his scruffy beard that he had grown over the past week or so after having a nervous breakdown and spiraling into the shit storm that had became his life. As he looked around the park, he saw a familiar blonde head of hair. A head of hair he could have spotted from a million miles away. Tears welled up in his eyes. He loved Holly, she was a damn good friend of his and Cole’s, and he hadn’t talked her since their friend passed. He took his hands out of his pockets and made his way over to her. Before reaching her he called out, ”Holls!” He felt a little surge of happiness go through him, one that he last experienced when he’d been with Cole. He quickly took a seat on the bench next to her. She looked like he did, well, he probably looked a million times worse. His beard wasn’t taken care of, his eyes had dark circles and were red from all of the late nights and crying he had done. He made sure she had a chance to get a good look at him before he scooted close to her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders, closing his eyes. | |
