so basically mia is a sucker for pride & prejudice & mr. darcy & she's always wished that the guy she falls in love with is someone she hates first like elizabeth did before falling in love with mr. darcy. and well, it'd be funny to see it actually happen.
i have two plots that we can go with so you have options! the guy is a little different in each story so read them if you wanna get an idea of what he's like. the only thing that should stay the same is that he's an actor and a musician on the side ( mia's a sucker for musicians ) and that he's older or the same age as mia who's 28.
1, the first story is inspired from pride & prejudice of course. XD the plot between mia & the guy goes like this: the guy ( we'll call him this for now ) is a musician turned actor ( and a really good musician at that ) who ends up doing a movie alongside mia where they meet and well, don't get along. he first finds himself attracted to mia on the set, but is too shy to talk to anyone so he comes off as a snob. being a friendly person, mia tries to talk to him, but he always ends up saying one word. after hearing rumours about his snobbish & prejudiced attitude, mia begins to hate him. during filming, the guy will always find a way to be around mia which makes her go o___O because she's usually ignorant about when guys like her. anyway, after some time, the guy falls in love with her because she's the type of girl that the guy isn't used to being around - he's used to uptight upper-class and very serious girls that his parents are always wanting him to date ( he's from a very wealthy family ). so yes, something personal should go down ( we need to think of something here ) which makes her incredibly angry and insulted but while she screams at him he admits that he's in love with her but in a rage she rejects him. later on, he sends her a letter explaining his actions & this makes her realise that he's not a bad guy & that his snobbishness is actually shyness. they see each other again at an event after filming is finished but things are a little awkward between them ( y'know, the usual 'how are you?' 'i'm good' -awkward silence- ) and then maybe he tries to follow her around the event until he sees her alone outside then all romantic stuff can happen. yay!
2, LOL WATCH THIS! second story is inspired by the swan princess ( don't judge! ) & goes like this: mia's grandmother has a friend who lives somewhere that's not in iowa. this friend of mia's granny has a grandson around the same age as mia, who is the guy. the two grandmothers thought it'd be great to match make these two from an early age which they tried to do every summer until they were teenagers. mia & the guy basically hated each other and despite the fact that mia & her granny would spend the summer holidays with the guy and his granny, they never got to like each other, being kids and all. plus mia used to be an ugly duckling when she was a kid & got teased a lot. then the match making stopped when they were young teenagers because the grandmothers had a falling out - mia & the guy didn't mind of course seeing as they hated each other. so years passed and now they're in their late 20s and the guy is in california being an actor and part-time musician. when he & mia see each other again, it's love at first sight, but only because the guy thinks that mia is hot. this upsets mia a lot & she rejects him so he has to prove to her that he loves her for more than her looks - something that he finds hard because he's shallow.

Hopefully I made him how you pictured him, If not, it can be tweaked easily, haha.
