Recently Chanelle had just about had it with people telling her that she was making bad decisions. Why did people even care about who she wanted to hang out with? She could understand that Lucia might be kind of confused that she would actually want to hang around Kyle, but Chan was trying to be mature and acknowledge that whatever had already happened between them was her own mistake and not his. As for Cooper telling Vince to babysit her.. that was just outright wrong. Chan really didn’t think that anyone but herself needed to care about who she was or was not spending time with. It just really wasn’t anyone else’s business. Now that she and the majority of the rest of the cast filming The Immortals were in Prague, Chan was hoping that people would start letting her be. Though she would never admit this out loud.. the more people told her not to see Kyle, the more she wanted to be around him. Tonight she was meeting him out at a small café near the hotel; she chose not to tell anyone she was going out and as far as she was concerned, no one needed to know.

Kyle's plan was working perfectly. He was always surprised at how well the 'I'm trying to change and I need you to help me' line worked on most girls, specifically Chanelle. He was almost positive it wouldn't work on her, what with how intense her hatred for him was in the beginning. Things were shaping up quite nicely ever since their first date where they got inconveniently stuck in that elevator. What might have been the biggest downfall of his social repertoire turned into one of his most brilliant. He was now meeting her for a coffee or the like at the cafe a block or so away from the hotel. He knew she was getting fed up with Lucia's bodyguard, and he had to say it was nice that the meathead wasn't babysitting them anymore. Kyle was manipulative, but it was easy for people to point out when they didn't like him. It was working beautifully on Chanelle, and that's what he wanted. He wanted to con her into sleeping with him again for his own enjoyment, and he was on his way to doing so. He saw her walking up to the cafe, and smiled to himself. When she arrived in front of him, he grinned his handsome smile and offered her the rose he held in his grasp. "You look amazing," he stated, reaching for her hand as he took in how she looked, basking in the glow of the sunset. He could be a damn good charmer when he wanted to be.

The young blonde felt a familiar blush creep across her cheeks as Kyle complimented her and handed her the sweet smelling flower. “Thank you,” she smiled shyly, hoping that her now rosy face wasn’t as embarrassing as she thought it was. Chanelle went inside, not wanting to stand out in the cold air for too long. She had a history of getting sick because she either had no idea how to take care of herself or just had the world’s worst immune system. Either way, she had no intentions of getting sick while working on this movie. Chan quickly glanced around the café to make sure she didn’t recognize anyone before taking a seat at an empty table in a quiet corner. “Uhm.. so, how was your day?” she managed to ask. The poor girl felt completely awkward because she didn’t know what was going on between her and Kyle. They weren’t like.. dating but they were definitely going on dates. This was a date, right? Chanelle knew that she should probably be well aware of whether or not she and Kyle were on a date, but with her history with boys (or lack there of) she legitimately had no idea. All she knew was that she was definitely starting to like the boy who once plagued her with nightmares.

As the rosy hue settled into her cheeks, he gently brushed one with the back of his hand, forcing a genuine-sounding chuckle. Truth be told, he was getting tired of playing this game, the one where he acted like a complete and total sweetheart, but he knew he couldn't give up now. She was starting to trust him. As she walked into the restaurant, he draped his arm loosely around her waist - not in a possessive way, but in a sweet, protective way. He joined her at the table, sitting directly across from her. He was getting so good at being the 'gentleman' that he was liable to make himself sick. As the question was posed, he reached across the table for her hand, which he held cutely between his. Each second tick by and he felt the bile from his stomach rise into his throat. He hated being this way.. sweet, charming, cute. It was just not him at all. "Fine, although I'm still not quite sure what most people here are saying," all of which was true. "What about yours?" he asked, green eyes catching the light and sparkling over at her dazzlingly.

To her surprise, she didn’t mind Kyle’s arm around her waist. Typically Chanelle wasn’t too keen on having other people touching her, but Kyle’s arm didn’t seem to be threatening in any way. However, she was a little surprised when he took her hand in his. It just felt kind of awkward to her.. or forced? She didn’t know, and she wouldn’t ask. Chanelle figured that if there were a problem with the situation then it was all in her head or just something she had come up with because of her lack of experience. “I don’t understand what anyone is saying either,” she admitted with a shrug, staring almost directly into his eyes. It was almost dangerous the way she felt when she was looking at his eyes.. she felt like he could ask her to do anything and she would probably just say yes. Hopefully he wouldn’t ask her to jump off a cliff. “My day was alright. No one tried to babysit me and I didn’t get hurt doing any stunts,” she smiled. Typically Chanelle didn’t get off so easily; someone always wanted to know where she was and who she was with or she managed to ruin several takes by tripping over herself or something else while attempting a stunt.

After a while, he let go, pulling his hands back into his lap as he turned his Blackberry over and over. He was fidgety sometimes. He reminded himself to stop doing so, and slipped the phone back into his pocket. He didn't want to seem rude.. one slip up with Chanelle and all of this was going down the drain. He grinned, looking back into her eyes. He was pretty sure the green of his irises were what lured her in the first time, so he used them every chance he got with her. She usually avoided looking directly in them, at least that's what he noticed, probably for the reason he tried to make her look. He chuckled a little as she explained the events of her day. "Congratulations," he said, the laughter still enveloping his voice as he spoke to her. "No one's going to babysit you here," he reminded her with an easy smile, leaning forward to tilt her chin up at him a bit. He looked content, just like he was sitting there to admire her beauty. No, he was scheming. But he was ridiculously good at covering it up.

Chanelle wondered which part of her day seemed humorous to Kyle.. her lack of injury or lack of babysitter. She didn’t care to ask though – both were probably equally as entertaining. Being babysat really was ridiculous; when Chanelle and her brother were back in the same place he was sure going to hear an earful from her. “That’s a relief,” she sighed as Kyle tilted her chin up. This time she chose to look away from his eyes. Chanelle could tell they were only going to cause her trouble. That in mind, Chanelle leaned back in her chair not wanting to be tempted by him. “So.. is it hard being away from Tyler?” she wondered. Chanelle brought up Kyle’s little girl a lot, mostly because she was genuinely curious about the toddler, but also because it was one subject that Chanelle thought Kyle could only speak genuinely about. There was also part of Chanelle that liked knowing that the majority of people didn’t even know that Kyle had a child. Chan wanted kids one day, but not for a long time.

As she leaned back, Kyle remained with his elbows on the table. He wanted to seem invested in the conversation or whatever. When the subject moved to Tyler, Kyle growled on the inside. While he loved his baby girl more than life itself, talking about her constantly was something that was going to take some getting used to. Chanelle always seemed legitimately interested in his daughter, probably because she'd mentioned on several occasions that was his only redeeming trait, the fact that his daughter was a perfect little angel. "Yeah, she calls me every night, though," he explained. Kyle didn't know if it was really actually hard being away from her since he didn't see her all that often anyway, but it wouldn't sound very good if he said no. "She asked about you the other day," he mentioned. Tyler really did like Chanelle, whether it was because she was nice or because she had an adorable puppy, Kyle was unsure. But whatever the case, he was going to use his daughter to his advantage while trying to convince Chanelle of a semi-obvious lie.

Having divorced parents must be difficult, Chanelle decided. She wondered how Kyle and Kayley had come up with the arrangements for Tyler’s living and when they each got to see her – especially since Georgia was nowhere near California. “That’s good,” she nodded. Maybe Kyle being away from Tyler in this sense really wasn’t that much different for the little girl; after all, she only saw her dad on weekends every.. well, Chanelle didn’t know exactly. She was curious about the situation, but not nosey enough to bother asking. “Did she? Well what did she say?” she questioned. When Chan was little she wanted to be friends with everyone, regardless of their age – Tyler kind of reminded her of herself in that way. Anyone who came to visit the Madison house was naturally meant to be someone else for her to play with.. she was quite the attention seeking child, so different from the way she is now. Chanelle tried to imagine what Kyle would have been like when he was younger – she knew about his daddy issues or whatever, but she still had trouble picturing a small version of him. Surely he hadn’t always treated girls with disrespect, right? Well.. he seemed to be doing much better now as far as Chan could tell.

He had been around Chanelle to know that if the conversation was failing. bringing his daughter up would usually fix just about everything. Chan was a kid person, Kyle could tell. He shifted in his seat a little, trying to remember if Tyler had actually asked about Chanelle, or if that was just another lie he made up. It didn't matter either way, the answer would probably be the same. He could usually predict what was coming out of his daughter's mouth. Of course, there were those random times when whatever she said was too outrageous for him to ever think up. "She wanted to know if you were with me here in "Pwague".. she can't say Prague," he said with a cute grin on his face. As far as he could remember, that part was true. The next part... not so much. "She asked if we were "like" dating," he said, putting air quotes around 'dating'. He chuckled a little, trying not to make it awkward or anything. But he wanted to see how she'd react to him bringing it up.

The way Kyle mimicked his daughter’s way of speaking was truly adorable. “Dating?” she reiterated with a quirked brow. “I didn’t know children her age are even aware of what dating is,” she commented. Then again, dating was probably a regular thing for Tyler to be around since her father was single; and Chanelle had no idea how recently Kayley had gotten married to her current husband. Though Chan was curious to ask Kyle what his response had been to the toddler, she decided it was in her best interest not to ask him. She wasn’t sure she actually wanted to know what his answer was. From Chan’s perspective, they had definitely been going on dates – but they weren’t doing anything exclusive, there was nothing intimate, and part of her felt like she only wanted to spend time with him because so many people were advising her not to. But seriously, she could get lost in his eyes for hours. Chanelle’s biggest dilemma right now was figuring out just how much she actually liked Kyle. She had no doubts about physical attraction, but she just couldn’t start a relationship based on that.. could she?
