Harold is what people like to call awkward. No one really knows how he got to be that way, but it sure helped him a lot in forming material for his early stand-up comedy days in Wisconsin. He's genuinely a person who likes to make a joke or two to make the people around him smile - it makes him feel good to know that he's made a person's day. Even though his intentions are good, he can sometimes end up insulting people, women in particular, when making these jokes - but then again it's what comedians usually do right? He's like the Uncle Stu at a Christmas party who'll make the family laugh, put raspberry cushions on seats and have a buzzer hidden in his hand. It gets the little children more excited for the holiday season, the chance to get to see Uncle Harold.

Uncle Harry does however have the tendency to get jealous if someone steals his thunder. It makes him kind of a jerk really, but he kind of loves the attention people give to him. When he's on a high and making jokes here and there, then it's kind of expected that he'd get rather annoyed at the person who takes that high away from him. It happened once during Christmas when his cousin Chris came to spend lunch with the Annable family for the first time and turned out to raise the funny bar a little higher. Harry seemed to take care of that however, and let slip to the police that his cousin was part of an illegal cannabis growing organization in California. No one had heard from Uncle Chris ever again. Although being a supporting actor in Hollywood, he's learning that it's okay to be second-rate.

Harry might sound too immature for his age, but there are other times when he actually acts like a serious man. For one, he takes his career very seriously. He's always at meetings or on set on time, always acts accordingly (when the time calls for it), keeps himself highly organised, and prepares himself for anything. You would say that he might be a little OCD. He's a clean guy, and takes the pleasure in living in places which are easy to clean. As a single man who constantly works, he doesn't really have the time to clean, nor is he easy with the idea of hiring a maid. However one day you never know, he might decide to move into a very nice and large bachelor pad and hire a hot smoking maid.

• January 13, 1973. Harold Levi Annable was born in a hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin to parents Oliver and Karen Annable, an attorney and accountant respectively. He was the first born to the couple who had named him Harold after his grandfather, Harold Scott Annable, an army general who fought in the second World War against the Nazis.

• When he was two, his younger sister Elizabeth was born. Now he was only two, but he knew what jealousy meant and usually cried whenever momma gave Elizabeth attention. However, daddy was always there, but he still wanted the attention of both of his parents.

• A few years later and then came two more siblings. This time, Harold was too old to care about attention from parents, and his relationship with Elizabeth was going pretty well. Seeing as Elizabeth grew to have a personality which was basically the same as Harold's, he found her kinda cool to hang with.

• School time for Harold was probably a nightmare for him. He was a loser in elementary and the kids would call him "four eyes" because he started to wear glasses. This was the 70s, so the bullying was pretty intense. It didn't help that he was awkward as hell as well. Sure, he was talkative, but he was also a little geeky so the kids thought he was weird.

• Despite that, he started throwing jokes around. He liked to laugh after a hard day of being called names at school, and soon he brought it to school! The kids still thought he a was a bit weird, but not only were they laughing at him, they were also laughing with him!

• Nothing really changed for him throughout school. In high school he was now known as the class clown, often pissing the teachers off and being sent to the principal's office. More of his classmates liked him now, but that didn't mean he was cool. He was friends with a lot of people, and was so well liked that the football team wanted him to become their mascot - well dress up as their mascot.

• Once he graduated, he applied to go the University of Wisconsin in Green Bay. There he took up archeology as his major but then stopped and took up theatre and english instead. During his college days he was a bit of party boy. He joined a fraternity, donated his sperm at a sperm bank for the money, and hit the local bars with his stand-up comedy and occasional gigs with a band he joined. It seemed his experience with being the high school mascot carried onto college and he ended up being the wearing the mascot costume for UW football games.

• Once graduating college, his reputation as an up-and-coming stand-up comedian took a turn for the better and he was invited to Los Angeles to work on a comedy benefit where he was supporting the likes of Jon Stewart and Jay Leno. He moved to Los Angeles after and began working the comedy club circuit hoping someone big would notice his work and hopefully ask him to support them.

• He didn't find a big name however, and instead an agent who loved his work and encouraged him to be on the screen. Having a background in theatre from college, he thought it'd be interesting to try to get into acting as a professional, and so he auditioned day in and day out for different comedic roles, but really focussing on stand-up.

• Never being successful in grabbing roles for anything, he took up drama classes to polish up his acting skills, and enrolled in improvisation classes at a drama school in Los Angeles. It wasn't until 2004 when he finally got a small guest star part in "Arrested Development" that he started getting more smaller roles, namely in TV movies and bigger films where he had small blink-and-miss roles.

• Mr. Annable then joined the ensemble cast of "The Office" as the pompous Andy in 2006 and has been there ever since. It is also because of this that he was cast as Stu in The Hangover. His star is rising, although not enough to have paparazzi stalking him around. He can also walk around LA and have only one person ask for a photo or autograph. Hell, he doesn't even have a fansite where Anna can get pictures of him. He hopes to one day make it pretty big though, but right now he's content with where he is.
