Juliette had been one rather busy twenty-one year old. She was preparing for her first Hollywood film, which she was excited about, but not because it was a Hollywood movie, but because she knew it would be a great experience. Jules differed from other actors when it came to cashing in. She was not into acting for the fame or the money. Acting is not a stable job, you never know whether you will make it or not. Originally Jules wanted to be a Broadway actress. Musicals were her thing, and had been for a long time. In high school she was in the top choirs and took the leading roles in the schools musical productions. She always thought she had what it took to be on Broadway, with her name in lights, and face all over posters throughout town. Doing eight shows a week for a couple of months with no break. That was what she came to New York for. But her plans changed. After months of auditioning for theatre roles, her agent decided it was time that his client be thrown into television and film acting. And that was how Juliette started her career in film. Her first few movies being independently directed. Straight to DVD.
Even though she had a job, she still auditioned for other small projects she could be a part of after this movie was over. She only filmed for two months, seeing as how she had a minor roll. She needed something to do afterwards. This leads us to why Juliette was not in her funky indie style gear. She had been planning on meeting with her agent, and she had, and now she needed something to do for the rest of the day. She had lived in New York City for almost two years and had never really explored everything New York had to offer. She had never been to the Statue of Liberty, but she had managed to make it to Bryant Park. She sat third row at fashion week. But one of the places she had never been - and she had been dying to go - was Madame Tussaud’s. Yes, that was the famous wax figure museum that had many other locations throughout the northern hemisphere. With time to kill, that was where Jules would spend the rest of her day, by herself, and she would enjoy it too!
Walking out of the crisp New York winter air, Jules opened the big glass doors to the museum, thankful for the warmth. The museum wasn’t busy. She figured that was because it was a weekday, in the middle of January. Most of NYC’s citizens had been to Madame Tussaud’s. So right now, as far as Juliette could tell, it was just her and tourists. You can’t get around the tourists. She bought her ticket and entered the museum. Yes, she brought her camera. Her first stop was Johnny Depp. Ooh la la. She loved him not only for his looks, but for his ability to morph into crazy characters. Like Edward Scissor Hands, Willy Wonka, and Sweeny Todd. She would marry Johnny Depp, and if she could not marry him, she would just want to become him. He was just that amazing. It would be awesome to be made into a wax figure and put into a museum. Maybe one day Jules would be that famous? But she wasn’t in it for the fame. But if fame got you a wax figure, she was willing to compromise.
