BIOGRAPHY Kate Peterson was born on the 21st of July, 1987 in Salem, Massachusetts. She is the daughter of Peterson Electronic Inc. founder Charles Peterson and New York socialite Katharine Peterson. As a child, Kate became an aspiring photographer and was accepted into England's top arts academy as a teen. After completing high school, she jumped on a plane to Los Angeles, California instead of the plane back home to Salem and started a Summer internship for Mark "The Cobrasnake" Hunter. Eventually she moved on to intern at photo galleries, worked for Mark Robert Halper and the like until her last boss, a photographer for Nylon Magazine, suggested she model instead. She has been featured in magazines such as Nylon and Vogue. Her acting career didn't start until her modeling agent encouraged her to audition for an independent horror film. She has since appeared in various television roles and independent films - namely of the thriller/horror genre, which has caused a few critics to dub her as an upcoming "Scream Queen".

• Her older brother, Greg Peterson is a dance teacher and film choreographer.
  
• Instead of moving back to her hometown of Salem, M.A after high school, she spontaneously hopped on the plane that would take her to L.A.
  
• Took a Summer internship at The Cobrasnake's office the same time as Cory Kennedy. Both appeared on the series 90210 and are good friends.
  
• Is best friends with actress Juliette Moore-Ross and makeup stylist Reese Munroe.
  
• Resides in Los Angeles.
  
• Is an avid photographer and has taken photos of famous celebrities and personalities including Paris and Nicky Hilton, Cory Kennedy, Katy Perry, Jack Bailey, just to name a few.
