saturday night was meant to be for going out and having fun. kate instead had been in her los angeles apartment doing nothing except for sulking about how bored she'd become. if she had a life, she'd most likely be drinking and having epic fun like she usually would have with schyler. however, the last few days found kate alone and with a boyfriend who never seemed to call her since she got back. now naturally out of boredom, the young actress logged into the online chat room, only to find herself arranging a night out with dawn. fantastic, at least she had something to do tonight! she logged off then shut down her laptop, leaping off from her sofa and gingerly making her way to the shower. half an hour later, she was ready and dressed with more than enough time to quickly grab a bite to eat before stepping out of her apartment.

she got into the taxi which she called a few minutes ago and asked the driver to take her to the monastery nightclub. the timing was perfect actually, fifteen minutes to go and it took ten minutes to drive to the often populated club. it was saturday night especially, there were going to be heaps of people. as the taxi pulled up right outside of the entrance, kate paid him the fare and got out. down along the sidewalk was a line that could reach china. well, it was a good thing she knew the bouncer, and the bouncer knew her - apparently the last movie she was in was his favourite. scanning left and right, her eyes hovered over the crowd outside hoping to find her new friend dawn. these two vowed to shake things up on the set of six lives, in a good way that is. and if they were, why not start shaking things up at the monastery? she pulled out her phone, ready to text dawn.

She always found herself logged into the chat room when she had nothing to do at night which had been occurring a lot recently for unknown reasons. Dawn didn't mind staying home and relaxing, but like Kate had said it was a saturday night. They should be out having fun just like everyone else.

Feeling relieved to have made plans for the night to meet Kate at monastery Dawn logged off and headed to her room to look a little more presentable then what she did in her sweatpants and tank top. Fifteen minutes later she walked out ready for a night of fun dressed in a stripped t-shirt and pair of skinny jeans. A pair of high heels and leather jacket completed the look and after saying goodbye to her beloved puppy she left her apartment.

Driving her jeep she made her way through the typical la traffic until she was a few blocks away from the club. Knowing she wouldn't find any parking closer than this she pulled up over and walked the rest of the way which only took a few minutes. After seeing the long line of people she couldn't help but cringe slightly until she spotted Kate standing near the front of the line, even though she wasn't in line to get in.

"Hey," she greeted with a smile as she walked up to her new found friend. "You ready for some fun? I'm so glad I caught you online. This is so much better than watching a marathon of project runway..." Dawn added with a small laugh.

just as she was about to hit 'send', kate was interrupted by a female voice greeting her. she looked up and smiled, seeing the person of subject standing right before her. "nice!" kate said as she scanned dawn's outfit. shoving her cell phone into her large purse, she straightened her hair and replied, "are you kidding? this is going to be a great night! and i hear that we don't have to wait in line..." eagerly, she linked arms with dawn and pulled her towards the entrance where the bouncer was more than happy to allow them in. there was of course, boo's and complaints from the people in line but kate ignored them and left the bouncer to deal with them. she turned her head to dawn as they stepped inside, "if we're lucky, we might find heidi klum here." she joked. or maybe she really was. who knew. monastery was usually a hot spot for celebrities. "where to now?" she pointed towards the bar then towards the dance floor then at one of the unoccupied booths and waited on dawn for an answer.

Dawn was happy to have found Kate so easily and was even happier when they were able to waltz right into the club without any problems thanks to Kate's obvious connections. Almost immediatly she began to bob her head to the beat of the music as she glanced over at Kate before giving a shrug. "I honestly don't care," she answered with a small chuckle keeping her arm linked with hers. It didn't matter to her what they did first, because whatever they ended up doing they would have fun while doing it. "You wanna see if we can get someone to buy us some drinks?" she said over the loud music will pointing toward the bar with a smile.

as they stood around deciding on where to go first, kate lifted her head to scan the club curious to see the faces around. when dawn finally suggested the bar, kate was more than happy to lead them both towards the long benched bar surrounded by bodies of drunks and sobers. standing a few feet away from the crowd, she turned towards dawn, "so you should work your charm. find the next hot guy that walks past?" she said scanning around for potential guys who'd be more than willing to buy them drinks. they'd have to flaunt what they had however - well dawn anyway seeing as kate was horrible at flirting.
