"Music speaks louder than words…" Is what Nina lives by, this is probably why she is never the one to speak a lot, and lets her emotions out when she plays her music. That’s right, not only is she an actress, but she's a musician. The one thing that has always been in her heart is music and the music she plays. She loves performing and puts 110% into it either while on the camera or on stage while she sings and plays piano. It seems to be the only thing that keeps her in high spirits and the only thing she lives for - performing. Either that, or sports because believe it or not, Nina is also a sporty girl. She'll never be truly happy until she's at a piano singing or acting on the camera, so watch out because if she's doing those things, she has a huge smile on her face. Nina is however, a little sad that she's more famous for her acting than she is with her singing, but she doesn't mind. If she had number one hits, she'd be seen as "another one of those actress releasing a record because they found out they can sing." Truth be told, Nina could sing before she could even talk.

Nina was never the outspoken, crazy wild girl. She is often thought of as the very reserved, pretty girl next door - a statement that really annoys her. She likes to think of herself as the fun-loving, friendly, quirky girl next door who still needs to break out of a protective shell that has been keeping her from the social world. At home, she’s more herself than she’ll ever be when she’s around other people. Although over the years she's begun to grow that confidence needed to be more herself around strangers seeing as she's constantly surrounded by them. She has the paparazzi to thank for that. Today, it's common to see Nina with a goofy look on her face and a smile. It's also common to see Nina randomly breaking out into song on set or dancing to music only playing in her head.

Nina isn't afraid to crack a joke. It'd be two jokes if she wasn't afraid of it being not funny enough. She loves a good laugh and believes that laughter is the best cure, hence you'll find her pinning for comedy films rather than drama or action. And sure, while she has a huge funny bone, she can be just as serious when she wants to be. It's easy for her to get into focus just before she has to put on a poker face when working - because she is highly dedicated to whatever she's doing.

The problem with her is that she sometimes doesn’t show her emotions. She silently holds back her tears and saves them for when she’s by herself. Other times, she just shrugs it off and moves on. If someone has hurt her, she forgives but never, ever forgets. This doesn't mean she holds grudges however, for instead she reminds herself and therefore learns from each experience. She is sometimes leaning on the borderline of loyalty to her friends and her own self. In other words, she can be a passively selfish person, but with good intentions. Sometimes she hurts people because of it, but to her it's for the good. She is also a big believer in what's on the inside that counts, but hypocrisy tends to take over as she is also self-conscious about her appearance.
