SKILLS acting - kat went to a very small arts school in monterey bay, california and studied many different forms of acting. she's what you might call seasoned, since she's grown up around the acting business. she speaks greek fluently and is skilled at affecting mediterranean and middle eastern accents. puzzles katalina loves puzzles. she's the kind of person that has to have constant stimulation, and finds that sudoku, crossword puzzles, and word searches are a very entertaining alternative to doing nothing. she is a very analytical person and likes to think doing puzzles keeps her mind sharp. EXPERIENCE katalina was once a very prominent actress, starring in films like vacation españa and slayer by night, and starring frequently in e! magazine. she faded into the background for a little over a year, leaving hollywood to stay with her brother alex in a rehab center in texas. now, alex is eight months clean and katalina has returned to hollywood to look for work again. her father and uncle were her original inspirations to become an actress. she showed much promise as a child in greece, and her father fostered this talent by enrolling her in elementary school plays and having her read lines from theatrical works. after kat's father passed away, her uncle suggested to her mother that she move kat and alex to america to get the children closer to american show business. at the age of seven, katalina moved with her family to monterey bay, california and attended a small arts school for kids grades k-12. she and alex prospered in their school, kat starring in nearly all of the acting productions and alex showing much talent in painting and drawing. kat and alex were very close growing up, and when kat was twenty and alex twenty-three, they decided to move to hollywood together. there, they struggled to make a living and keep their heads above the water, between rent and utilities and car expenses. it was hard, but it was when kat made her big break into the industry. an important thing to note about what's made kat who she is has to do with her brother alex. they've always had a strong sibling bond, but it wasn't until they were living in hollywood that kat learned of alex's cocaine addiction. she came home after attending a movie premiere to find him lying on the bathroom floor, eyes rolled back and foaming at the mouth. it was the most terrifying experience in her life--and after getting him the help he needed, kat clung to alex for dear life. his addiction brought to life the very real possibility that she, as much as she hated the thought, might lose him if they didn't do something to fix it. |

HOW'D YOU FIND US? well...i used to be an admin. :) RP SAMPLE elijah wasn't exactly in a slump--but he wasn't exactly happy either. you could say he was looking for something more. something more than all the money that his father had for him, something more than the company that provided more than enough security than he would ever need. he didn't have anything for himself and this upset him sometimes. he didn't have anything to call his own, like a family or a business. sure, elijah had money to move mountains and the good looks to put them back but he didn't have anything that he'd made for himself. this was why he sort of envied delilah. she, even though she wasn't poor or rich, had something that was her own. maybe this was why eli hadn't been happy, because he didn't have anything of his own. he figured it was time to start living for himself, trying to make something with his own time that he could call his own. elijah's. hearing from delilah had sparked something like happiness inside of him that he hadn't really felt full on in a very long time--and something like motivation as well. when they were kids (god, maybe ten years ago) he and delilah would spend their afternoons, their nights, sometimes up until the mornings talking about life out by the lake. it was their place, their own hideout from the rest of the world. elijah often wished that they hadn't parted ways, because delilah was one of the only people in his life that he'd ever been able to open up to about anything, really. he'd been able to talk about his aspirations and his short comings and the dreams he wanted to fulfill and the dreams he knew he would never fulfill. she'd always been there to listen. in a lot of ways, she was his best friend and elijah had never realized how much he relied on her until they graduated and went their own ways. now that she was in his life again, he couldn't wait to rekindle the friendship that had been such a vital part of elijah's childhood. and what better way to reconnect with an old friend than in the same kind of spot they spent so much time connecting at before? elijah had suggested they meet up at a lake nearby and do just that. he'd brought along a blanket for them to lie out on, figuring that the weather was pleasant enough to not sit in an air-conditioned car and watch from inside. he had so much to tell her, so much to fill her in on. ten years was a long time, a lot longer than it had seemed and he felt like he was in high school again, sharing all his secrets with his best friend on a hot summer afternoon. the spark inside of him refused to die, and maybe that was why he'd missed delilah and his old friends so much. they brought something out in him that no one else did. delilah brought out the good in him, made him want something more out of life. liam made him realize that there was friendship to be had, and more out there than just what they had. maria had always made him strive for excellence, and nate had made him want to be a better example. cecile was a different story, but wasn't every little sister of every group of friends like that? the spark was lit, and he was seventeen again, bright and starry eyed, ready to take on the world as long as his friends were by his side. it was refreshing.
