height.5′ 1¾” (1.57 m)
eyes.It depends on her surroundings. Ember's eyes can be a very intense shade of light brown if she's at a party and her hair is pulled back, because bright lights really bring out the brown of her eyes. However, if her hair is left loosely around her face, her eyes will be dark and the brown won't be quite as intense.
hair.Ember often wears her hair tied back, her fringe clipped up so it doesn't get into her eyes. However, she also lets her hair down and lets it fall down to her shoulders. She usually keeps her hair wavy and doesn't dye it or straighten it unless necessary, so her natural hair color, a nice dark shade of brown, and her natural wavy hair is what she's usually seen in. She does keep highlights sometimes to bring out her eyes, especially during auditions. She'll dye her hair for parts, but likes to keep it as brown because she doesn't think she looks good as a blonde and she prefers to go natural.
build.Ember is small and thin. She's not exactly bodacious but she does know how to accentuate whatever curves she has. She's not particularly muscular, but she does keep in shape. She doesn't need to worry about her weight because thinness is in her genes, but she does make sure that she works out at least once a week to keep her figure.
distinguishing features.Ember has a mole on her right cheek and a small raised scar on her left elbow.

personality evaluated.party girl.
Ember just loves to party and drink, preferably both at the same time. If she could, she'd be drunk all the time, but she'd have a huge hangover if she ever stopped and it would probably affect her chances of getting a role in anything. She's perfectly fine with provocative dancing and making out in storerooms, but she never lets it get further than that (except for that one time). She's used her time wisely and figured out what her boundaries are.
compulsive liar.
As somebody who has to work for praise and recognition in her career (like anybody else in this business) Ember lies a lot to get noticed. She'll lie about her age, she'll lie to people about her past, she'll lie about things that happen to her in ordinary life. She lies about everything to everybody, and one of her biggest fears is that one lie will be picked apart and every lie she has ever told will follow and she will never be credible again, and despite her talent, she will never be given a role again.
trendy.
As a young, and as she likes to think, upcoming celebrity, she has to follow the trends to a tee. She's very careful about what she wears and never goes out looking anything less than well-dressed. She never overdoes the trends, but there's always a few days that she'll wear something ridiculous to attract a bit of attention.
goofy.
Despite being a legal adult, Ember is still a child at heart. She is usually a goof and acts really spastic sometimes. She laughs at childish jokes regarding certain body parts and loves to watch kids shows. She'll play along with Dora the Explorer just for the laughs and knows every Spongebob song by heart. Despite this, she can be mature, especially when it matters (basically, her career) but with her friends and family, she's a huge dork. It's one of the reasons why her father believes she will not make it in showbiz without help from somebody competent (like himself).
lady-like.
Ever the Brit, Ember is polite to everybody no matter how much she hates them, and will fake a smile even if she would rather stab them in the heart savagely. She never backstabs anybody, she never gives up secrets and she never, ever cuts queues. (That's the ultimate offense, after all.) She holds doors open for everybody and looks down on nobody. She likes to look at herself as a good Samaritan in rude and boisterous America, but everybody else calls her a typical Brit.

history evaluated.Gregory Ashford and Maegan Silvers met in a small, secluded café in London, on a freezing winter's day. The rest is ancient history, but the product of their romance is not. They married in 1986, and lived as a married couple for about three years before having their first child, Ember. Ember was a pretty girl, even at birth. Her father, a producer of several British movies, saw the potential for a career in at least modeling and convinced Maegan to allow him to have her put in an advertisement for a line of children's clothes. After this, she started a brief modeling career.
Unfortunately, as Ember grew up to five years of age, her father realized that she was far too short to be a model, so he changed tracks. When she turned eight, she auditioned for a British sitcom and got a minor part. It was this that started her acting career and this that motivated her to pursue her dreams of becoming a movie star.
It was also in the year that she got the part that her younger sister was born. She was no longer the only child, and as the up and rising star in the family, the attention had to be split between her and the newborn. Her mother took care of her sister, leaving her father to take care of Ember, and so she became daddy's favorite girl. Gregory spent money on her, doting on her and spoiling her with praise and presents. She drifted apart from her mother and sister, her life revolving around her daddy (and his money).
When she grew into a well-adjusted (or not) young adult, Gregory decided to uproot their whole family and move to America to further pursue Ember's career. This was quite hard on pre-teen Charlotte, and she quickly became a wild and rebellious teenager. Ember used this opportunity to get used to the American lifestyle and although she retained much of her personality, she also adopted the typical American star persona (with the partying and all). She is currently looking for a film or series to work on, the first she would be acting in in America.

roleplay sample.Amber let her eyes hungrily rake the letter fromWoodyJohn that she held in her hand. She actually quite enjoyed arguing with him. She was full of bullshit, of course. And her arguments were absolutely rubbish and completely fabricated. She had a heart; she had some sort of soul. She needed friends. But her dad said that school was more important and nothing could possibly be more important than pleasing her father who had done so much to make sure she made herself destined for success (not to mention that she had gotten her genius from him).
As she finished reading the short letter, she looked around to be sure that she was alone before breaking out of her stony expression and frowning deeply. He wouldn’t come looking for her, would he? He wouldn’t actually do what he promised in his letters? Amber ran her thumb over the raised lettering on the back of the parchment, where he had scratched the words into the paper in dark ink. She sighed and folded the letter up, tucking it securely into the pocket of her coat with all the others. If he really was going to go looking for her, leaving the place where she was most likely to be was obviously the first thing to do. She fed the school owl a treat, and left the Owlery, the hooting of owls floating out after her. They were very much awake and so was she – good, because she had to patrol the corridors. Stupid Prefect duty.
As she left the tall tower, she gasped as the cold hit her like a thousand knives stabbing into her bare skin. She clutched her coat around her like it was the only thing keeping her separated from death (if it had been any colder, that would not have been an exaggeration). She pulled the coat tighter but considered doing a round of the school ground. If she remembered correctly, she had to do that as well. It would take a few hours but maybe a professor would take note of her effort and reward her or something. As she took a deep, burning breath in, she started to walk around the grounds. It was cold enough that she could see her breath in front of her, clouding her vision slightly in a somewhat pleasant way. Oh, how she loved winter.
She was going to get pneumonia or something, she thought with a sigh. She had finally finished her rounds and the cold had seriously begun to get to her. She had started whimpering every time a gust of wind blew into her face. Her long black hair did not help in protecting her ears from the cold and her nose turned an extremely unglamorous and unflattering shade of red. She sniffed as she turned into the shortcut, managing to quietly walk into the atrium. Just as she stepped on the marble, she saw a dark, tall figure slip into the castle. Wonderful, now it was her duty to follow this person and yell at them for being out after hours.
Amber stalked after the figure silently, her knee-length boots making surprisingly little noise as she crept behind him, keeping in the shadows. Somehow the body looked familiar, like she had seen it before. It was no surprise that it did, after all, observing people was what she did. But this body looked like somebody that she knew personally, yet she could not bring the name to mind. She frowned at the figure, not realizing how exceptionally childish and immature the expression combined with the half-crouch she was in made her look. She saw the figure turn into a corridor that looked quite like the corridor leading to the kitchen, but when she turned, she didn’t see the figure. She had lost him. She got herself into the kitchen after a few tries and asked the house-elves to point her to the figure. They gladly did so and told her that it was definitely a male student. Great, just what she needed. She had to tell off a guy who would most likely laugh at her.
She went in the direction that she had been pointed in and ended up in the dungeons. It was warmer, so she took off her coat and hung it over her arm like it was a coat rack. She glanced around in the dim light and saw the guy going through. She ducked under a spiderweb and brisk walked up to him, tapping him on the shoulder. As he turned, Amber’s expression froze into a mixed look of frustration, horror and fury. She shook her head slightly and hoped that he had not seen the look she had given him in the darkness and let her face fall into its indifferent look.
‘John, it’s after hours. What are you doing?’ Amber said these words in her most demanding and stern voice, but it wavered as she tried to regain the composure she had lost so quickly when she realized that she had bumped into the very person she had been avoiding.
