So this is Jake, who's a stand-up comedian and a comic actor, originating from Toronto and living in Los Angeles. I know, a Jewish comedian. Unbelievable, right? Due to the whole comedy thing, he could quite easily plot in New York too- easy enough to say he's doing some shows out East.

Given his profession, not surprisingly, he's a funny guy. There's still a little bit of residual shyness and social anxiety there from his days as a high school outcast though. He's much more gregarious when drunk.

Oh, and he's straight and aggressively single.

Particular types of interactions I think would be cool:

Bar buddies- Jacob likes a good beer, and I'm sure in LA there'd be a few other aspiring actors he'd know from sharing the same watering hole.

The Jew Crew- Jacob is very much secular, but it'd be cool if he had a few acquaintances in the city who shared his background to spend the odd friday night or holiday with.

Co-stars and crew: Goes without saying, really.

Love interests: including at least one unreciprocated desire. After all, without sexual frustration, how many comedians would still be in business?

Sports fans- Anyone want to talk hockey? If so, he's your friend. Unless you're a Habs fan.

Neighbors- I'd imagine plenty of aspiring actors, writers, etc live in similar neighborhoods.
