DISTINGUISHING FEATURES joy has the tendency to make weird facial expressions when she's talking. she also has very huge dimples. | deeper perspective STRENGTHS ANIMATED - that's a huge word to describe joy. animated. she's very spirited and lively, and always smiling. even though tough times, she usually finds a way to smile. she feels like if she's smiling, it'll make someone's day. so she tries to smile often. then she likes moving. she uses her hands when she talks a lot, and needs to be doing some type of movement. she is the type of person that you'll look at and say "will you just sit down?". she most likely won't. NURTURING - joy has a knack for being motherly. it just comes naturally, over friends and family. she has to protect them, and makes sure no one threatens them, often putting them before herself. she's usually very supportive, and will try her best to help. she's a person you can talk to about anything, and she will probably tell you right from wrong. but she will still end up supporting you in someway. she will also stay by your side through everything, and help you through anything. like said, she's sort of like a mother. HONEST - honesty is something you will get around joy. that is something you can almost guarantee. if you want honesty, even if it hurts, joy will give that to you. she has her sense for right and wrong, and will tell it to you straight up. her thinking is that if there's something she was doing wrong, she would want someone to tell her. so she does the same for everyone else. CONFIDENT - confidence will radiate off joy. not conceitedly, no, but enough so that you will know. she is not insecure in the least bit. she was comfortable with herself in the past, she's comfortable with herself now, and will most likely be in the future. she knows she's beautiful, and that she has a lot ahead of her. if you're looking for an insecure reaction from her, you probably won't get it. GOOFBALL - joy is a goofy person. she loves laughing and joking and having fun. there is almost never a time where joy isn't laughing with someone. if she's in a serious situation, that's a whole different story. she knows when to be serious and when to not be serious. but when she's in a situation where she's about to relax and be goofy, better believe she is. she's the type to make funny faces and try to make others laugh. it's just how she is. WEAKNESSES BLUNT - it goes along with her honest trait. even though she's honest, sometimes she can go too far with it. joy just tells it how it is, which can hurt others sometimes. but she usually doesn't realize it, which makes the whole situation worst. she doesn't mean to be blunt most of the time, but it happens a lot. SLIGHTLY NAIVE - just a little. she's not completely naive, though. she knows. however, her naivety comes mostly with sexual situations, to be honest. she's still a virgin, and doesn't normally flirt. so when someone comes at her with a pick up line, or some sort of flirty line, she's like "uh.. what?" or "what do i say?". it's just something she doesn't have a lot of experience with. just anything sexual. everything else she's pretty knowledgeable in, such as relationships, life, etc A LITTLE SHY - this is something she's also a bit categorized in. joy knows how to have fun and how to liven a party. but put her in a situation she's completely inexperienced with, or has never been in before, then she's shy. she just sort of closes up and sits quietly, watching everyone else do their thing. she isn't that person who can make the best of any situation. if she's in a situation she's unfamiliar with, she will become extremely shy. UNORGANIZED - joy doesn't have the time. nor does she really have the skills. you would think a person like her would have a little organization, but she doesn't. and she's not neat, either. she tries to keep things organized, but one thing ends up over there, and then she's completely unorganized. it's really hard to get her back on track, too. she's methodical, but not very neat with it. CARES TOO MUCH - that's not something you hear everyday, but that's the case for joy. she's so caring to the point where she forgets to think about herself. if a situation with someone else is making her very unhappy, she won't care - she'll just continue on with it until everyone else is satisfied. everyone but herself. that's not a good thing, because even though she's selfless, it's to the extreme. and despite the fact that everyone tells her to think about herself sometimes, she won't. SKILLS joy can act, she can sing, she's a good teacher, she's good at learning things, she's a wonderful writer and poet, and she can dance. EXPERIENCE For her whole life, Joy has really been in the industry. She started when she was very young, but got involved officially when she was 5 years old, going into the TV show The Cosby Show. Then after that show ended, she went out for the show and got the role in Hangin' with Mr. Cooper. After that, she had roles in films, including Doctor Dolittle (one and two), and two Zenon movies. Then came her big break, and she got her own TV show on Disney channel, called That's So Raven. Her show lasted for four successful seasons. She also guest stared on shows such as My Wife and Kids, The Proud Family, and Kim Possible, aswell as other shows. Once her show ended, she started back with movies, her biggest movie being The Cheetah Girls. She stared in the first two, and wasn't in the third one. Another big movie she did was called College Road Trip. She also does the Tinkerbell movies, staring as Iridessa. She even did a TV movie called Revenge of the Bridesmaids. Now she's in the works of a TV show called State of Georgia, which is where she was born. While acting is her main career, Joy did a little singing too. She made three albums, and even though they weren't platinum or anything, they were still successful. Singing is a big part of her, and something she won't give up. Acting is her main priority though. |
