Biography From a military background and as a former soldier himself, Robert started his acting career playing dozens of unaccredited extra roles alongside many unknown actors, civilians and even fellow vets. It was never his plan, he began working as a film extra to accompany a friend. His military knowledge, discipline and authenticity gave him the opportunity to be cast in a number of different roles within the United Kingdom, giving him the reputation of a dedicated and dependable crew and cast member. It was his role as Marcus Wright in 2009's Terminator Salvation alongside Christian Bale that proved to be his breakout role, introducing him not only to a wider British audience but also to America. He is set to star in a number of films and is regarded as one of the up-and-coming actors of 2011. Trivia Attended The Duke of York's Royal Military School. Served in the Royal Logistic Corps of the British Army. Said in an interview that he had no intention of becoming an actor and went to support a friend. Appeared in countless films and TV movies/mini-series as an extra. Made his "Hollywood debut" as Marcus Wright in Terminator Salvation.
