Matthew has always been the competitive type. He always tries to beat out other directors in quality of movies and what not. He doesn’t even care that others don’t believe it is a race. He just likes winning. Many people could say that this is from low self esteem, but they couldn’t be more off. Mat has a very high self esteem, and thinks the world of himself. But you will never hear him boasting of his abilities and talents. He tries not to be cocky and stuck up, because that would be bad for his reputation. And no one likes a cocky guy.

Ever since around first grade, Matthew has been chivalrous. He used to go around picking flowers out of the ground and giving them to girls he likes. In fact, he still does present his dates with flowers. He is the type to hold open doors for people, and rush to their side if they drop anything. If the situation presented itself, Matthew would place his coat over a rain puddle for a girl.

Despite being competitive, Mat has always been a real charmer. He can pretty much make any girl he wants fall in love with him, with just a change of voice. Though, he never really uses this power he has been gifted with. He sucks up to people above him, and there forth he always gets invited to events and parties. He is very funny, except he can’t tell jokes. But if you’re in conversation with him, he’ll make you laugh at least once. And that’s a guarantee

Even though he doesn’t look the part, Mat loves to do extreme sports. He likes any sports really, but the dangerous ones are his favorite. He enjoys surfing, hang gliding, scuba diving, snorkeling, sky diving, and cliff jumping. Surprisingly, he hasn’t killed himself yet. He also plays basketball on the weekends to keep fit. As well as attending the occasional gym to get out of the house.

Though he likes to stay fit, he doesn’t eat like it. He can not go without a hamburger a day. He loves junk food more than sports and winning combined. Sure he wastes a lot of money eating out or ordering in everyday, but he considers it worth it. Matthew can cook though. But he likes to save that to impress people.

• Matthew was born in Phoenix, Arizona to a thirteen year old girl. She knew she wasn’t going to be able to take care of a baby alone, so she put him up for adoption. Only a week after his birth, Mat was adopted by a loving family who couldn’t have kids. He was picked up at the hospital, and flown out to Sydney with his new mother and father.
  
  
• By age three, Matty was declared an angel from heaven. He never got in any sort of trouble, except for once when he brought a stray dog into the house. His favorite pass time was to set up his action figures on the kitchen floor, and act out what they were doing. Early signs that he would be a director
  
  
• When it was time to start Kindergarten, Matthew packed his bag full of action figures and set off to school with a smile on his face. He made many new friends that day, because he walked right up to people and introduced himself. He refused to let anyone touch his precious action figures though.
  
  
• By the time he turned ten, about every girl in his class was in love with him. He was nice to everybody, and gave almost every girl a flower at one point or another. The girl’s favorite games to play during lunch involved trying to kiss him. He found this gross and kept playing basketball.
  
  
• In middle school, Mat finally realized the power of girls. They were all so pretty, and girly. And a lot of them still had crushes on him from elementary school. This is around the time he started dating girls. And around the time he realized just how charming he could be.
  
  
• Once he graduated middle school, it was time to concur high school. He already had had about five girl friends, all of which he truly liked. But whenever they told him they loved him, he’d freak out because he didn’t love them to. He liked them, and liked making out with them, but he didn’t love them.
  
  
• In high school, he joined the drama club to really pursue directing. He stayed in it throughout his entire high school career. Despite being in the drama club, Mat was still able to maintain a healthy social status and a good number of girls he dated. But still, no love for any of them.
  
  
• Then came his junior year came along. Around this time, his mother had joined a book club. She talked about another mother, who had three girls and one son. His mother invited them all over, and Mat got introduced to all of them. It was Natalie who he fell in love with, because she was so different.
  
  
• During his junior and senior year, Mat became Natalie’s best friend. He hung out with her every day after school, and fell more and more everyday. She was funny and cute, but she didn’t feel the same way. So he kept his feelings secret. Then she packed up and moved to California half way through her high school experience, and Mat went away to NYU never telling her how he felt.
  
  
• College was fun for Matthew. He dated here and there, and finally lost his virginity one drunk night. He thought he loved the girl he lost it to, but really he only loved Natalie. But she was a memory in the past, except for when he found out she got engaged in California but broke off the wedding. He waited until she was off to college before flying out to see her.
  
  
• When he was twenty six, Matthew moved out to California to pursue his directing dream. He started out with tiny assistant tasks, but grew until he became a true director.
