secrets. she has a ovulation disorder that she was diagnosed with when she was around the age of twenty - four, which means that she can't have children. has been keeping it a secret not just from the public but from mitch and is afraid that he will leave her for it.
personality evaltuated. sam is a very caring and loving person. she would stick up for her friends and be there to hug them if they needed comforting. she's someone who wants the best for people and doesn't do well with people who are serious about everything. always the one to put other people before herself, whenever they are in need of her help. now she isn't a push over in the least, she just likes to help people when they ask for her help. it was something her mom raised in their house, respect and help others as you would want them to do to you. goofball. which is why she is hoping to one day take on a comedy or romantic comedy movie because she feels she could hang with the big guys. she's quick with jokes and can be seen throwing back and forth with people. the girl's got tough skin, nothing really gets to her and if it does - she doesn't let it show. she's got an excellent pokerface when it comes to hiding emotions. there's only been one person who could ever really read her emotions and she plans on having it stay that way. she loves to laugh. humour and being silly are grade a in her book. she loves people who are able to make her laugh. she’s quite the playful girl and she has a fun-loving nature. she enjoys having fun and is definitely someone who would quite happily make the first move in pretty much anything.

sam is an easy going girl and likes to think of herself as an outgoing and friendly person. she dishes back what people dish to her, so if they're rude then she's rude and if they're nice then she is as well. she likes to give everyone a fair chance of being her friend and earning her respect. sam isn’t secretive as such because she doesn’t believe in hiding every aspect of her life and making out she’s something she's not. she's only really got a couple of secrets and those are things she hasn't actually bothered to tell anyone because they're not something that she's ready to admit yet. she generally trusts her close friends more than those she hardly knows but that is natural of everyone. she is also laid back. she doesn't see any point in hurrying with everything. always putting things off until the last minute with mostly everything. she is relaxed and calm about most things unless you seriously piss her off. do that and she'll just right out hit you. well, at least she would if you're around her age. samantha isn't the "hey you skipped me in line, i'm gonna bash your face in" type. there was once or twice a while ago where she punched a guy in the face because he was being a total dick - but that was months ago. she's a tough girl/woman - grew up in texas and is definitely not the type to sit on the sidelines. so typically it's argue first, take a swing later if it doesn't work out. sam lives for the moment. she likes to live for today and make the most of what she has then and there. sam is generally a happy girl and it's very rare to see her having a bad day. she takes a liking to quite a lot of things, with acting being her main hobby and a bit of dancing on the side. she loves shopping, doing outdoors type of things, going back to texas for the holidays and being surrounded by her friends.

history evaluated. samantha's life had been the basics of what a normal child would go through. somewhat. she was born in south africa but spent most of her childhood in texas - a place where acting was far from anyone's mind. her father was a figher-fighter and her mother was a waitress, an aspiring actress who wanted more than what she had. the only thing that held her back was sam's father, john, who want her to wait a few more years and raise his children while he provided for them. so she stood by for years, letting her dream be on the back burner while he worked as a fireman for the local fire department. that dream was short lived, a few years later a house fire claimed the life of her father as he tried to save her younger sister though by the time he reached her the house collasped with them still inside. almost being trapped in the house herself, she has gained a phobia of fire and refuses to have anything to do with it. she has trained herself to handle the small flames, such as a lighter, candle or something small but she stays away from fireplaces and things of the same size or bigger. her mother, of course deeply pained by the loss - didn't let this keep her down. she took this as an oppurtunity to live out her dream and become an actress, so she left charles, kaycee and samantha to stay with her sister while she ran off to LA to live out her dream.

her mother had been gone for nine years, coming back and forth from time to time to check in on them. sam's relationship with her mother had been an on and off sort of thing, mainly off because she felt like the woman had been abandoning her duties as a mother. so when she was in town or if sam went to visit her it was constant bickering back and forth. so after a fews years the visits all together just stopped until later when sam moved out to california for good. her brothers by then had enlisted into the army, one got married and had a child on the way - while the other followed in their uncles footsteps and became a cowboy. his relationship with their mother also strained because of what fran did. going to school in california was different than going to school in texas, everything seemed off. especially when she found herself taking a drama class. at first she did a lot of behind the scenes, working with the stage director or just anyone in general. the only reason she started was because one of her friends needed help with his lines and asked her to help him, so she did. she was amazed at how sort of easy it was for her, to get into character and play the role she needed to play. it wasn't long before she fell in love with it and decided that it was something she wanted to do.

it wasn't a surprise that samantha's mother was excited about the idea and did everything she could to get her audition's and everything. this was something that made samantha see her mother in a new light and she thought it was only fair that she tried to work on the relationship. it was the least she could do in return, as a thank you. sam got her "big" break doing a tv show that lasted for a few years before she moved on to her first movie. she was twenty two around the time her first movie role came her way, an independent film that caught the eye of a few producers. praising her for her quick wit and onscreen charm that would leave the audience laughing and crying along with her. so she was surprised when she got the call to do more of the "mainstream" movies with certain a-list actors. around the age of twenty four, she found out that she had an ovulating disorder which caused her chances of ever getting pregnant or actually making it through pregnancy extremely difficult. her doctor's told her that the chances of her ever having children was a million in one. this of course, broke samantha's heart and took her out of the dating game for quite some time. then of course - she met mitch. the day he walked into the diner was the day her life changed, of course it wasn't all smiles. she actually hated him - but they learned to squash their differences and learned to love one another. now she resides with the fellow actor in los angeles, engaged and ready to start the new chapter in her life.
