the stats FULL NAME Susan Louise Harker AGE & DOB 25 & August 07, 1986 ACTOR AGE RANGE --- HOMETOWN Manhattan, New York CURRENT LOCATION New York ETHNICITY American (Italian & Irish) LANGUAGE English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese SEXUAL ORIENTATION Heterosexual HAIR COLOR Light brown EYE COLOR Blue HEIGHT 5ft 5" WEIGHT Approx. 130lbs DISTINGUISHING FEATURES Dimples when she smiles, toothy grin; long face and in her opinion, a big forehead; 7-8 inch scar on her back. | deeper perspective STRENGTHS COMPETENT -- Susie is good at what she does. She's always been a helpful person and aims to make things work faster and run smoothly for her boss. She is trustworthy, reliable, resourceful and good at timekeeping. She's a quick thinker and knows how to sweet talk people into getting what she ( or rather her boss) wants or needs done. She's one of those people who can skim-read and power-type. She doesn't like wasting time when there's something she should be doing. Susie can easily become a bit of a workaholic when Mr. Haughton has a lot going on but he's good to her, he knows when to let her relax and have a little time to unwind. APPRECIATIVE -- Susie is very aware of the fact that she has a very good life and that she has had it easy (aside from her little health hiccups), she doesn't take it all for granted at all. As someone who underwent major heart surgery at twelve she understands the value of life. If her problem had not been spotted she could have died in later life at a time much too early. She is very thankful for the opportunities given to her and the continued love and support of her family, the fact that she had the chance to grow up in such a privileged and cushioned environment. She's happy enough just being a healthy young adult (with a job). PASSIONATE -- Now this could quite easily be a weakness as well as a strength. There's a point when she can shift from being passionate about her feelings to being over-emotional. She's not someone who gets sad very often but she can be moved quite easily. When she cares about something or someone, she's dedicated. When she's smitten, she's head over heels with it. When she has a desire, she's raging to fulfil her every want and need (even when she knows she really shouldn't). She is passionate about family values and she is all for love, or just getting all caught up in the heat of the moment. GENINUNE -- Despite how stressful her job can sometimes be, Susie will always do it with a smile on her face. She is a likeable and pleasant person. There are times when she has to be tough and she has to be a little demanding but Susie much prefers to take the informal approach when she needs to get something done. Don't mistake being easygoing as her being naïve or a pushover because she is neither those things. She just thinks you can get more things done by being polite and being yourself then you can get done by acting like a bitch. When people remember that you were nice and friendly, they are happy to work with you again if necessary. And when you need a favour, people are much more open to helping out the sweet and wholesome girl. HUMOUROUS -- Oh how she loves to laugh. When things feel like they're getting too much, Susie just likes to let loose and have a good time. She likes to have a giggle and it's nice to have a boss who isn't a total ass and can accommodate her humour needs. She maintains a professional and straight-laced demeanour when working but off-duty she is light-hearted and a lot less serious. Susie is one of those "laughter is the best medicine" types, why get so worked up about stuff when you can just shrug and laugh it off? She doesn't like to dwell on the negative, just the funny! WEAKNESSES INDEPENDENT -- While this is also a strength, I decided to put it in the weaknesses. She doesn't like taking help and she doesn't like being looked after. She's a big girl and she can take care of herself. Part of it comes from being raised to feel that being self-sufficient is very important and that you shouldn't rely on somebody else ("Don't expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one might run out.") to carry you through life. But also after a childhood of illness and having her family being overprotective for the rest of her teenage years (and sometimes still), Susie has always itched to be independent. And independent she is, fiercely so. STRONG-WILLED -- Because she is driven to be independent, she is strong-willed about the way people tend to act as if she's made of fine china. Her mother would rather she stay at home and work with her (she is a fashion photographer) instead of gallivanting around the film industry following Brendan Haughton on his travels. Susie has never been the kind of girl you tell what to do or how to be. She's someone who "marches to the beat of her own drum". If you don't like it, back off. She makes her own decisions and if necessary will make her own mistakes. She would rather learn from mistakes than never take chances. EMOTIONAL -- I mean, aren't most women? Especially around ~that time of the month. But Susie can be quite passionate and fiery when it comes to emotions. She was a child that was always very strong and able to keep a smile on her face even during tough times but as a young lady, she's in touch with her emotions more than ever. When she's sad, she's a sobbing wreck and when she's angry, she's a raging and aggressive force to be reckoned with. She is what you could call hot-headed, perhaps temperamental. She doesn't like people toying with her emotions, it pisses her off more than everything when people try and "play" her like she's an idiot. OPININTATED -- She is not brutal or bluntly honest but she will stand her ground and stick by her beliefs. One thing she cannot stand is discrimination or prejudice. Plenty of people think they know her "type" when they don't know her at all. We all have our judgemental moments but constantly judging people without getting to know them based on their race, gender, sexual orientation or disability irritates the hell out of her. Susie hates the way some people can be so ignorant and pigheaded about things. Her disagreements with the beliefs of the Catholic church made her abandon religion. She believes everyone has the right to their own opinion and that no one should try and force their views on anyone else but one should be open to at least hearing the opposing argument. AMOROUS -- Again, another weakness that is also a strength but I choose to put it under the weakness. Susie is ever so charming and charismatic. And as a passionate and a romantic person, she can come across as being a hopeless romantic. Susie can be alluring, even seductive without really meaning to be. She's so naturally flirtatious that it's a problem. She is quite easily charmed but enjoys being so. She enjoys the chase of man and woman being attracted to each other. She likes feeling wanted, being pursued. She loves the thrill of all those fresh emotions. Which is why she struggles with monogamy. She is someone who believes you can be in love with more than one person at a time. And if a relationship begins to feel routine, like a chore or bland and uninspiring then she finds herself being enchanted by someone new. SKILLS Multilingual. Really good at typing or texting quickly. Also really good at table tennis. Does being flexible count as a skill? She did ballet, gymnastics and cheerleading until her late teens. EXPERIENCE Susie has grown up in a very comfortable and environment. She was never a child who "went without". But being part of a wealthy family didn't necessarily mean that she was spoilt rotten. Susie's parents were hardworking business people and she was taught the value of hard work, of being self-sufficient. As she matured, she realised more and more that she didn't want to be another one of these socialites who lived off of their connections and trust funds. She wanted to find her own place in the world instead of being another Harker. Her grandfather being a business mogul that passed the title of CEO to her father William, who is now in charge of The Harker Group, a company that owns a chain of luxury hotels, shopping and entertainment complexes throughout North America and Europe, as well as owning parts of sports, property and transport businesses. All three of the Harker brothers work tirelessly to build this empire and do their father proud. And Susie wants to make her parents proud too but in an effort to break away from the Harker name, she began studying languages in college. She was in her second year when her godfather - an agent to the stars of Hollywood - offered her a job as a glorified secretary, working as his wife's personal assistant while he merged with another company to create one of the biggest talent agencies going. When his wife had to take time off work due to pregnancy, she was given the option of working in the offices of the company or taking a position as a personal assistant to one of their clients. Naturally she chose the second option, as being holed up in a little office all day didn't sound like her idea of fun. She landed the job of PA to Brendan Haughton and has been in said position for six months. She is very capable and efficient as a personal assistant and hopes her boss is pleased with her effort. |
