OVERVIEW______________________
DATE OF BIRTH April 13th, 1976 in Pembrokeshire, Wales
BIOGRAPHY Mitch is the first born of Colton and Michelle Haines. His mother was a successful actress and his father was a General in the army. Mitch was raised to be a guru in the army like his father, unlike his brother who got into the acting industry pretty early in life. Mitch was trained to be a sharp shooter. He even went to a special school for those who aspired to be a sniper. But it was after Mitch finished his training that he realized that the military wasn’t something he wanted to be affiliated with. Acting was his true passion and so he was quick to turn to his mother to help him get his career started. Faced with much disappointment from his father, Mitch began the process of putting his name out there in the industry. After years and years of acting, Mitch has honed his skills and developed a sort of seriousness for the business. You can tell that he really loves acting when speaking to him. He’s hoping to eventually when an Oscar for one of his future roles.

PERSONAL QUOTES
- "I was just so curious about acting, I figured it wouldn’t hurt anything to audition (speaking of the Pocahontas movie). I tried to keep it from my father as long as I could but he ended up finding out soon after. I laid low for five years until I decided I didn’t care what he thought of my career choices."
- "It's the actors who are prepared to make fools of themselves who are usually the ones who come to mean something to the audience."
- "I’m still caught off guard when someone asks me for my autograph. It’s almost instinct to say ‘Who? Me?’."
- "I don't consider myself to be a method actor really...I just like to get a good feel for my characters. I'll do whatever it takes to do that, like for The Machinist. Dicky was a welter weight, so it wouldn't have made sense for me to play him as my normal size. I was willing to lose the weight to better portray the role."
