BIOGRAPHY Kevin Rashad King, better known as Vinny Dash, was born to Adrian and Jazlyn King, who was formerly a principal dancer of the Joffrey Ballet and a company member of Philadanco. School was always a challenge for Vinny, who suffered academically and had to enlist the help of several tutors. Vinny started his acting career early when he took on movie and television roles in his early teen years. But before he got far, he disappeared from the Hollywood spotlight to lead a normal life. Vinny went on to attend college at the University of California - Los Angeles. Shortly after graduating he moved to New York City where he signed onto a few minor movie roles.
