personality evaluated. natasha has always been a bit of a quiet personality. she was raised around parents who never really gave a damn because it was in their genetic makeup to be cold but she never acted out as a result. natasha is a very sweet girl and she’s totally alright with putting her neck out on the line for people she barely knows because she believes that it’s right. she’d bug, huge, into loyalty. she’s had one too many people screw her over in her life but instead of letting it make her bitter and angry she treats it as a learning experience and tries to move past it. she’s not always successful. though she tries not to hold grudges some things that have happened in her life are just not things she can get past, take for instance the director she’d had an affair with without knowing so who’d left her pregnant for his other family. not something natasha is willing to forgive.
she hasn’t had much by the way of romance. the first time she’d ever let a guy close she wound up pregnant at sixteen and with her last effort she ended up pregnant again in an affair she had no idea about. she hasn’t been lucky but at the same time she doesn’t want to give up hope. she likes the idea of a man coming into her life who would be good with her daughter, who wouldn’t ask questions, and who would be able to love her the way she wants to be loved. it’s a fantasy but it’s one natasha whole-heartedly believes can come true someday. at the same time she’s realistic. she knows that not every man she meets is prince charming and that throwing herself into something with a daughter as collateral damage is just a flat out bad idea, but she likes the idea of it all and there are times when she loses herself to that idea.
family is of the utmost importance in natasha’s life but that doesn’t necessarily extend to her parents. natasha really only has one person in her life who relies on her completely and loves her without reason and that’s her daughter marissa. that little girl is the center of natasha’s world and anything that threatens that world is going down. natasha’s never before been a mean spirited woman but people who use her daughter to get to her or in any way threaten her daughter’s health or happiness find out how cold a russian woman can be.

history evaluated. • was born to mischa and helena chernikov on june 20, 1979 in a small hospital in brighton, just off the english coastline. mischa and helena were very wealthy at the time. mischa was a highly regarded scientist who dealt mainly in metals and their compositions. he was sought after to study the metal workings of old buildings in an effort to preserve them. helena was a world-renown equestrian trainer who was known for her militant-like training techniques back in her home country of russia. both individuals had met initially in russia and moved together to england when mischa’s business transferred him to the industrial island. their home in brighton was a secondary vacation home used mainly during the summer months but had been used primary during that time as a place for helena to rest before she gave birth.
• after a few months in brighton the couple returned their london home where mischa returned to work and helena began bringing natasha with her to the stables where she worked. she would leave natasha with a nanny in the apartment above the stables while she worked with million dollar purebred horses, training them in any way their owners wished. she was quick to put the birth behind her and get back to a life that she knew well.
• it was later found out that helena suffered from postpartum depression which later explained the many months that had gone by without helena having any interactions with her own child. she would often blame work on her lack of desire to deal with her own newborn and in return had paid the nanny to move in with the family to care for young natasha. it was found nearly six months later what was exactly wrong with helena and her connection to her own daughter and she was put on medication and requested to go to therapy.
• at around natasha’s first birthday her mother actually became a more prominent figure in her life. they had a party at the stables where helena worked and she held natasha in her arms while she walked around the grounds on horseback. natasha has a picture of that moment still today and it’s the only reminder of the fact that she was once close to her mother.
• at the age of nine natasha and helena were shocked to hear via a television news broadcast that mischa was being walked to a police vehicle in handcuffs. the ladies later learned that mischa was suspected of being involved with dealings involving the russian mob and was later found guilty and sentenced to a year in prison. helena refused to believe that it was true despite the fact that mischa had given a full confession to british police but refused more so to allow natasha to see her father in that kind of institution.
• mischa was released after nine months, getting out on good behavior, and the family fell into hard times. though helena did not believe that he could commit such a crime, she refused to stand readily by him. it took mischa a good year and a half to find any kind of work again, not until the demand for his particular trade was high enough that the men in charge were desperate enough to hire a convicted felon.
• as the chernikov family came into better means once more, natasha was shipped off to boarding school. she was enrolled at a stuck up all girls boarding school where field sports were mandatory and forming cliques was a school wide pastime. at her mother’s insistence to become more involved natasha joined the theater group at the school and quickly found her niche. she was welcomed into a group of strange girls with the kind of attitudes that a boarding school environment couldn’t break.
• she fell head over heels for a boy from a neighboring boarding school when she was about sixteen years old. he was her first everything and she found out two months later she was pregnant. she called her mother after the school nurse told her the news and helena yanked her out of the school before anyone was the wiser. natasha lived in the brighton home for the next seven months under the care of yet another nanny who gave her prenatal vitamins and drove her to doctors appointments, etc.
• after the baby was born it was given up for adoption, mainly at her parent’s request and not her own. after a month’s recovery time natasha was once again reinstated at her former boarding school and was able to finish out that time under the pretense that she had gone slightly mad from the stress of so much work and being away from home as opposed to the real story.
• natasha attended school until her graduation. at which point she had an absolute love for the stage that neither her mother or father could embrace. they wanted her to do something more realistic with her life. natasha enrolled at harvard university in the fall of that year and moved across the pond to the states with a student visa.
• after college natasha couldn’t dream of going back to england or to anywhere else for that matter. she really loved the states and she loved the east coast in particular. she requested a stay through the correct political channels with a little help from her father and was able to stay in the states long enough to earn citizenship.
• natasha got random jobs here and there which paid the rent and got her on her feet but she never really had attachment to those jobs like she did to her stint in the theater so whilst in boston she attempted to find some work in front of the camera. she did a few commercials up until she was signed to an indie flick around the age of 25. after working on the project for months she fell in love with the film’s director and they had a child some few months later.
• two months after giving birth to her second child, that no one knew was her second, natasha learned that the director she’d fallen in love with, the man who had yet to propose to her or anything, was actually a married man with a family back in new jersey who were anxiously waiting for him to come home. devastated natasha packed up herself and her child and moved to new york where she got a cheap apartment in the bronx and got the first job she could find as a back teller.
• no one cared that she was a harvard graduate or what she’d graduated for, all they cared about was having a decent employee around who didn’t have some kind of criminal background. natasha worked that banking job for nearly six years, working her way up to a half decent apartment until she heard about auditions for movies around the area. driven to finally pursue her dreams natasha went to an audition, got a role in her first real movie, and was able to quit her banking job in the hopes of being a real actress.
