Why hello there! My name is Laura and I am requesting some love for my girl Emily. My average word count can be anything from 400 to 800+ but lately, I've been keeping things shorter and simple. If you'd like to check out how I roleplay you can do so by checking out any of my characters, I also play Jax, Rob, Joey, Chelsea and Tom. Thank you for taking a look at this request! Sorry if it seems like I have written a lot. Have a good day!
He is Swedish by birth (but practically Danish, having grown up in Denmark) and has predominantly worked in European cinema up until the last few years. He studied languages after senior school and is fluent in: Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Dutch, German, Austrian, Italian and French. He also speaks perfect English. His father, Kristoffer, was a renowned Swedish director in Europe who has schooled Jakob in the art, but passed away four years ago. While Jakob was born in Stockholm, the Hjelm family moved to Denmark when he was seven. He is the eldest of three children (twins Hendrick "Henry" and Erica, aged twenty nine), his father was Swedish/Norwegian and his mother is Danish/Dutch/German. He spent time studying film but dropped out to get hands on experience under his father and is now a First Assistant Director who has made his move to Hollywood in 2008. Emily's paternal family has known Jakob's maternal family a very long time, their families have been friends for generations in Denmark, Emily's father Charlie is a childhood friend of Jakob's mother Elin and have always held a good relationship. So Emily and Jakob have known each other on/off since their childhood and have become very close friends since he came to Los Angeles.
He is: very hardworking (almost to the point of being a workaholic), serious about his career, efficient, apt and adept, irritable, stubborn, loyal, faithful, polite, articulate, multi-lingual, ambitious, dependable/reliable, good-natured, attentive, calm, patient, considerate, professional, tolerant, organized, persuasive. He is surprisingly very funny and light-hearted, he just seems so serious and professional all the time that most people think he doesn't have a sense of humour. But he does, a very active one, sometimes he is the sarcastic, witty and tongue-in-cheek kind of funny. He is overall charming and charismatic, but is very prone to be busy and stressed out, and therefore can be easily irritated and annoyed. But if he were to take out his frustration on you, he would be deeply apologetic and upset about doing so afterwards and would make it up to you somehow.
Oh and he's really tall, 6ft 4. Lol, I went on his IMDB page and here are some of the listed trademarks: Cleft chin. Magnetic blue green eyes. Distinctive mellow voice. Towering height. Impressive athletic physique. Blonde hair.
So basically, this will be Emily's lover boy and final. Since the death of his father, he has branched out and moved to L.A. to pursue a career in Hollywood. He's got a lot of experience from working with his father (and then with other directors) in European cinema, in non-English speaking films. As stated, they have known each other for a long, long time and are close friends. In my mind, their future ends in marriage and having lovely little Scandinavian blonde haired and blue eyed children. Lmao! He is very career-orientated, which is why he's not married, has no children and has no girlfriend. Luckily Emily can handle that, being an actress herself. She'll be used to them having to work apart. She just has to get him to stop being stubborn and let himself fall in ~love, cos he's all "I can't have distractions, it'll only end in heartbreak, we don't need to confuse our friendship, lalalala ...I love you." Emily brings out the not-so-serious side of Jakob, she gives him the opportunity to chill out and relax. They're going to be sickeningly adorable, okay? Okay!
