personality evaluated.
compulsive liar - it's hard to know when melani is telling the truth because she lies so much. rather it's something as trivial as having a false allergy to pollen, to something as far-fetched as being raised in several different foster homes, some type of lie is always being twisted to life in her brain. and it's not as if she purposely does this to manipulate people or get her way. it's just a habit that she's had since childhood and it has become an automatic reaction for her. and of course because she doesn't intentionally plan out her lies, she doesn't keep track of what she says; so she will quite commonly contradict what she says a little later on the down road. oh and you better watch you tell her because there's nothing she loves more than being the source of the wildest, juiciest gossip. she'll not only tell your business, but she'll also doll it up and embellish it to make herself look good and make the gossip worth hearing.

sometimes her lies won't even make sense. say you were out at a party with her one night and the next day you commented on what a great night it was. eight times out of ten, she'll deny having been there and will make up a story about her having been somewhere else. naturally this confuses most people, but if you're persistent and confront her on the lie, you may just back her into a character and leave her speechless. she also has a tendency to "one-up" people. tell her you just met johnny depp and she'll say she worked with him and even meets him for drinks every once in a while. the girl is definitely inventive. but hey it's not her fault. during her time being hospitalized, the doctors picked up on her deceitful habits and attributed them as an affect of the alternate worlds she invented as a young girl, claiming that she couldn't separate her imagination from her reality.

kid at heart - if you walked into mel's house, this is what you would see: a series of disney animated films, bugs & lola bunny decor in the bathroom, a good handful of china dolls on display in the living room and a freakish collection of barbies in her bedroom. despite the image of her being portrayed as a sex symbol, melani is still a big goofball and she loves having a good time and enjoying life to the fullest. she also tends to be very random and impulsive, and you can expect her to be blonde one day and have rainbow hair the next. she can also be pretty inappropriate. she's the girl who roots for the bad guy, laughs at scary movies, flirts with a man when his wife standing right there, and pushes her way to the front of the line in dunkin donuts on a crowded monday morning. sometimes it's hard to tell if she doesn't care or if she really just doesn't understand morals.

drama queen - so mel-mel tends to blow things out of proportion. she'll often jump to extremes, especially if she feels that she's backed into a corner with no way out. that was why she resorted to stripping as a desperate means to get out of east new york. she'll also tend to overexaggerate a situation. something as small as her dog having diarrhea could mean that he's on his deathbed and needs immediate hospital care. or maybe she complains to a fast food manager and makes a big scene because an employee forgot to take ketchup off her sandwich.. note to future bridesmaids: watch out for this bridezilla-to-be.

flirtatious - this girl has quite a few reputations for herself. flirt. player. whore. she loves flings and flirting and teasing, but a relationship is out of the question for her. she finds it hard to grow attached and stay committed because she's used to people close to her leaving her and she has an internal fear of being hurt. so keeps her romantic relationships at surface level and nothing deeper. and although she's been known to sleep around, she still has her standards. she won't go jumping into bed with every man or woman she sees. there either has to be some kind of chemistry or physical attraction there, or it has to benefit her in some way, whether professionally or socially. but hey, despite all this don't make the mistake of thinking that getting her to sleep with you will be easy. geez, she's not a fricking prostitute for god's sake. mel still loves the thrill of being chased and she will play hard to get for as long as she can hold out. and sometimes that can be a while. and sometimes she may even tease and flirt without having the slightest intention of sleeping with you. so good luck with this conquest because she just may have you running around in circles.

adaptive - one of her favorite things to do is to just sit back and watch people. observe their behavior, listen to what they say, and pay attention to how they respond to and interact other people. that's how she picks up on things. because she's so observant she's able to pick up on small details that most people wouldn't even notice. it helps her catch on quickly to how different people operate. she's also able to adapt quickly to different situations and pick up on different skills faster.

people pleaser - believe it or not, melani can be a people pleaser in some ways, though mostly to her administration. in fact it was how she got into rapping in the first place. she had originally wanted to be a singer, but the record label she went to wanted to promote her as a rap artist instead. though it hadn't been part of her original plan, she didn't object and went along with it. she also tends to adhere to whatever her publicist tells her, even if she may not completely agree with it. when it comes to people in general, she will try to control her temper as much as possible if she doesn't see eye to eye on a conflict, and she will oftentimes do her best to negotiate or come to an agreement to avoid too much conflict. however, she will only go so far and she won't let someone walk all over her. so don't make the mistake of thinking that she won't stand up for herself because she will snap and say something if she has to.

feisty - in accordance with the above, mel does have a fiery edge to her, but that just goes without saying. you don't get raised in one of the roughest neighborhoods of brooklyn and not get some bite in your personality. you just have to learn not to take shit from anybody. but mel has a bad habit of speaking before she thinks and saying any and everything that crosses her mind. and i mean everything. normal people tend to know offhand what thoughts to keep to themselves, but melani just never seemed to learn that for herself. or she doesn't care. one of the two. she'll tell you that you look fat, she'll say something to the girl that looks at her weird, and if someone bumps her on the street you better believe she'll snap at them. she's just more forward and direct, and she doesn't sugarcoat anything.

human being - sometimes it's easy to forget that celebrities are just human beings, but with melani's faults and setbacks this is clear enough. she is a strong and independent girl who can take care of herself, and doesn't need to cling to or rely on other people. a lesser known trait about her is that she can also be a bit of a klutz. she's constantly dropping things, bumping into people cause she isn't paying attention to where she's going, or even tripping and falling over randomly...even when it may seem like there's nothing to trip over. and of course there's the better known fact that she is all-around a complete weirdo. but she's not afraid to embrace that side of her and she will proudly let all the world bear witness to her weird habits. and she doesn't mind being called a dork for it either.
