secrets. while in high school mackenzie went through a phase where she went out partying almost every weekend and her grades began to slip. she ended up losing her virginity senior year and having a pregnancy scare. although it was just a phase and she quickly got right back on track, mackenzie did not tell anyone about the pregnancy scare. she usually avoids getting extremely drunk and the typical question 'are you a virgin?'
personality evaluated. those that already know kenzie would say she's an outgoing and sincere person. she loves meeting new people and is very loyal to all of her friends. mackenzie does not easily trust others however. although she loves meeting and getting to know new people, she still only keeps a select few that she will trust with her issues (mostly family). if she feels that she can't trust anyone, she'll simply keep it to herself, which makes her a bit secretive. she isn't one to spill all of her secrets and feelings to you at once or open her mouth about others'. keeping a good reputation and avoiding as much drama as possible is what she's all about.

kenzie's also very stubborn, head strong, and ambitious. when she wants something she goes after it and doesn't stop until she does. it's pretty difficult to convince her to change her mind about anything once it's set. her ambition is most noticeable through her styling and designing. she constantly thrives to do better than what she gives and wants anything that she designs to stand out from the rest. mackenzie is completely truthful and sometimes a bit blunt. just because she is secretive it gives her no excuse to lie. when asked for her opinion she holds nothing back just as she is honest with herself about her designing. it can potentially get her in trouble without intending to. mackenzie refuses to state anything but the truth because she can't stand being lied to.

the feeling of having to rely on someone else bothers her as well. because of that mackenzie likes to be independent and if she ever needs anything she knows she can count on family for that. right now, she doesn't see herself having time for a relationship or having that one friend she can tell anything and everything to. her huge fear of rejection and being let down is what stops her from being any more open than she already is with people.

history evaluated. mackenzie is the second oldest child of the bailey family. olivia, her twin, is younger by several minutes. her parents met while her father was on vacation in france. they quickly fell in love though it was not really accepted by their parents until the two had finally married three years after having their first child. mackenzie was born in paris, france and attended a french school until the age of six. the baileys had decided to move to new york. she never understood why anyone would want to leave france. the young child could only imagine how different yet amazing new york would be when her parents and older brother would tell her stories about it. once she had moved she continued to read and teach herself french. occasionally she would sit down with her mother for an hour or so to have a review with her. eventually mackenzie could fluently speak both french and english.

it took a while for mackenzie to adjust to her new home. her new school in new york wasn't an all girls school, kids already had boyfriends and girlfriends, cheating on tests was fine as long as you didn't get caught, and passing your homework in late wasn't as much of a big deal anymore (of course she still handed it in on time). she ended up attending the same schools as her brother jack. she was either known as 'jack's little sister', 'one of the twins', or if she was lucky then kenzie. while olivia was known to be the more fun twin, people always expected mackenzie to be home studying rather than partying. naturally, this caused mackenzie to go through a little rebellious stage during high school. not only did little miss bailey get trashed almost every weekend but she ended up losing her virginity and having a pregnancy scare her senior year. obviously she kept this from her family and friends. she decided to deal with the situation on her own and distance herself from others for a while. mackenzie knew it would be difficult to handle a child during high school; she also had no idea who the father was.

after her false alarm or little reality check, mackenzie went back to her old ways which were her true ways. she enjoyed studying and reading more than partying. she wouldn't mind going out and having drinks once in a while but she'd be more responsible about it then she used to be. during college mackenzie realized she was interested in becoming a stylist. it started off with a small modeling agency that took interest in her and her work. as usual her brother's name gave her a bit more credit. she made her way from styling to small roles and appearances here and there. mackenzie's true passion is still styling but she also enjoys acting too.

Jumping on top of her bed, Kelsey looked over at her best friend with a grin. The Sigma had been in a good mood all day ever since the minute she woke up. "You know.. If you were single we could've totally invited some Thetas or maybe Omegas over to play strip hide and seek." Resting her head back on her pillow she added, "Don't know about those Kappas though." Kelsey loved teasing her about her boyfriend. Truth was she was very happy for Chelsie and Ollie. She couldn't think of a time where she had said it openly, but she could admit it to herself at least. She just wasn't one for relationships. To her all love and being in a committed relationship meant was: 'I want something' or if the guy already got it: 'I like the sex we have'. The female had promised herself to avoid anything close to a relationship with a guy right before she left Florida. Coming to UCLA was a way to leave every problem behind and move forward. That was exactly what she thought she was doing by staying single.

It was basically impossible for Kelsey to believe that a guy would actually fall in love. In her mind every one of them has an intention and love is definitely not one of them. Before she came to UCLA she had only been in two actual relationships. The first relationship was a middle school thing, when making out was seen as a huge deal by everybody. The other was a more serious one. Kelsey was a sophomore and he was a senior. Of course it was always a big deal to get the attention of an upperclassman in high school, especially a very cute one. The first couple of months was perfect which was normal. Kelsey had liked him so much she introduced him to her family pretty quick.

Apparently her sister had caught his attention way more than she had. Kelsey had always been close to her sister and loved her to death. Paula was only one year older so Kels was like her shadow in a way. Two years into the relationship, when Kelsey was about to graduate and finally gave him her virginity, her boyfriend got what he truly wanted. When she found out her boyfriend had been sleeping with both Taylor girls Kelsey was certain she was done with relationships. She couldn't believe one guy was able to ruin the bond between two sisters, even though the blame was equally shared.

The two sisters did a great job at hiding the whole story from their parents. It didn't stop her mom from asking her where her 'sweet and polite boyfriend' went and why they broke up. Even though she had slept with her boyfriend Kelsey still loved Paula, but kept her distance. After a while Kelsey caught herself staring at the ceiling so she quickly turned her attention back to Chelsie. She sat up on her bed, put her hand on the floor, and tapped around as she called for Nicki. "Come here, baby," she cooed. Just as she picked her up off the floor a phone started going off. "Is it yours or mine?" she asked looking around trying to find where it was.
