history evaluated. Chelsea's parents, Harrison and Sophie, met in Glasgow when Sophie was visiting the city because over the next two months she would be moving there with her parents. Harrison was working as a bartender. A few men were harassing Sophie and her friend and Harrison tried to intervene. He did so successfully, but he was almost beaten to death by the gang of men. He was in a bad state and Sophie stayed by his bedside, visiting him almost every day. A bond was forged between them and when she moved to Glasgow, they began dating. Harrison proposed to Sophie and 18 months later, their first child Callum was born. The family lived in Motherwell when Chelsea was born in the late October of 1984. She started nursery and primary school in Scotland but the rest of her education would be in America.

Her parents went on a holiday together to celebrate their wedding anniversary when Chelsea was seven years old. They went to California and then to Las Vegas for the remainder of the trip. And it was pure chance, just good luck that Harrison won $3.6 million dollars on a casino slot machine. He couldn't believe it. Chelsea believes it was good karma coming back to him. Callum was a teenager, Chelsea was nine and Hannah was a toddler when the family moved to Stockton in California, where Harrison was going to co-own a garage with a friend of his who moved there eight years prior to the Bray family emigrating. Stockton was where the mother-charter of the motorcycle club that Harrison belonged to and over the next few years he and his wife opened up a biker bar and eventually, a motel-like bedsit for motorcyclists.

Chelsea settled into life in America pretty easily. She was a feisty and free-spirited kid, a bit of a tomboy who liked to follow her brother around and play outdoors all the time. Each of the Bray children had bank accounts opened up in their name, which they could use for whatever they saw fit when they were twenty one unless they had parental permission to use it earlier. When Chelsea was eighteen she asked her parents to withdraw money to cover the fees for her to attend beauty school in Los Angeles, which they did and so she moved to the city and spent the next few years in school. And she has been living in Los Angeles ever since.

She began working as an assistant on-set of a television show and eventually ended up working on the show It’s Daytime as a hair stylist and make-up artist. Her long-term goal is to open her own salon but right now she is gaining experience and building a network of contacts. She has no real interest in branching out and working on different projects, she doesn’t want to travel away from home. Working in the film and TV industry isn’t what she wants to do for the rest of her career or life but it’s a great opportunity and one she’s thankful to have. She’s met so many great people through her job and is now dating an actor. She was a model on SuicideGirls.com for seven years but has since become inactive as a model and is just a member.
