she is known to get herself into sticky situations when it comes to men, but when it comes to her friends, she’d bend over backwards, she loves helping all causes and believes that no one should be left out, and even if someone hates her she’d help them. she grew up a poor girl and knows what it is like to live in a never ending hard time so she does whatever she can to help others. and will actually get mad if someone denies her offer to help, and whether or not they like it she’d do her best to help. she’s not a fan of confrontation and much prefers to keep peace instead of let a fight breakout but when all goes for the worst, she would be the first to put herself between flying fists. • Kamilah Ripoll was born to unmarried parents of two very different cultures a Lebanese-American father, and a mother a native of Colombia of Italian and Spanish decent, and though her parents were unmarried her and her parents lived there together as a family.
  
• When Kami was four, her mother was pregnant with her half-brother, a son from another woman. It was a secret to her mother but Kamilah knew something was up when her father started to come home later and later from work as he spent more time with his pregnant girlfriend.
  
• When Kamilah turned eight her and her parents moved to Barcelona where her parents were married. It was a bit of a shock having to move to Spain, however she began to make friends and meet new people in the country by learning their dance and studying up on the country.
  
• At the age of ten, Kamilah’s fraternal grandmother came to live with her and her parents and began teaching Kami the art of Arabic Belly Dancing so that Kami could stay true to Arabic roots. She quickly began to pick up on the moves her grandmother was teaching her, and began to teach kids she went to school with as well.
  
• When she was thirteen her musical abilities began to shine through as she began performing in choir and singing around her house, she even began to write songs and poetry to express the way she felt as she had problems with some of the kids in her school.
  
• At sixteen her father was offered a job in Los Angeles and after a six month argument of whether or not to go, her mother decided to stay in Barcelona in their home there and Kami and her father moved to East LA, where things only got worse for the young girl. She spoke no English and would rarely get any sleep at night as she worried about her mother and was simply too scared to sleep.
  
• As she hit the age of seventeen she still wasn’t speaking perfect English but she had a decent vocabulary, and had begun performing in high school plays and musicals. Her popularity seemed to grow as guys loved the way she was able to dance and move, and girls wanted to learn exactly how she did dance.
  
• Her luck in America blossomed when she was eighteen and in high school and was offered a scholarship to Juilliard for dance. Her father was conflicted on letting his daughter attend but eventually, after graduating she did attend the school.
  
• While attending Juilliard she worked as a dancer at a strip club which helped her earn enough money to help with her schooling and after graduating she kept working at her club at nights and got a day job as a waitress to help her earn enough money to return to her mother in Barcelona. Upon returning she learned that her mother had returned to Colombia and their home had been sold, oddly enough to her half-brother, she spent a few years with him, and wound up finding that most of her old friends had grown up and gotten married, and the one that didn’t, was the one whose fiancé she wound up stealing.
  
• A year before leaving Barcelona to return to her current home in LA, she divorced her husband, but kept his last name. Now she is currently trying to get her career off as a choreographer and actress.
