personality evaluated. arrogance. when you initially meet vince you are instantly confronted by this confidence. well, most confidence is good of course but the one that radiates from his is this - arrogant confidence which always leaves acquaitances bitter mouthed. he comes across first, as a bit of a bastard really. there's no way of sugar coating that. and to some extent he is. sure, he's confident and he's a bit selfish and vain, but he's not a prick - sexist, racist, homophobic etc. he understands that people like who they like and do what they do. not a damn thing he can do to change that. caring. beleive it or not, vincent has this amazingly caring side and a selfless side. if you're a close friend or even just an average friend. he will put himself on the line, he's loyal and trustworthy and very friendly when he wants to be. which is rare because no one ever makes it past the first phase and as much as he hates that - he can't stop how he acts towards people. but the friendly side, this usually confuses people after they've seen his initial arrogance. so if you get to see his caring side, consider yourself amazing because not everyone gets to see it.

aggressive. vince is easily annoyed and his annoyance is quick to turn into anger which later turns into violence. he's no fight virgin that's for sure and has been in one too many brawls. his annoyed phase usually consists of a very sulky side of him, during which he just sits and complains. if that annoyance festers into anger then he'll start shouting and storming around and well, you don't really need a description for violence. that's just full on guns out phase. the one thing that annoys him is when people sit and judge. he's spent most of his life watching his mother get judged by countless people and it irks him to no end. lusting & loving. there's a big difference between lust and love. and the boy has figured that out. lust was something powerful, but love was something a hell of a lot more powerful. lust was just a sense, love was an emotion. vincent has the capability for both. love is something he does want. he wants a family someday, he wants to be the father that he never had. lust is something that he's always had and yes it's all fun and games. though it doesn't compare to having the love for one another like his grandparents did.

vincenzo gambino was born to lauren, a single mother and a waitress at the local diner in the city. when he was younger he never really understood why his mother wanted to work at all, she clearly had enough money to take care of everything. maybe she liked the thrill of working and getting paid for a doing a good job - she never really told him. for someone his age, he knew his mother was doing more than just being a waitress but he never really asked because he knew it wasn't his place. vince was very well aware of the fact that people with jobs like his mother's, didn't live in the house that he had lived in. it wasn't over the top mansion mode but it was a very spacious house that he enjoyed living in very much. he never found it odd that he always got what he wanted and then some and assumed that everywhere he went, he would be able to have the same lifestyle. wrong. this was where his problems started to occur. at a very young age, vince showed that he really didn't have the eye for rules. the two of them never went hand in hand - he always found a way to do something he wasn't suppose to do. he started off with small things , like breaking things around the house but as he got older it gotten worse.

like when he was in middle school - he always skipped a class or got into a fight if he showed up. colton and fights were something that always happened. it had gotten to a point when even his mother would joke about it. so he would be suspended one week then when he returned he would have detention , though he rarely showed up to it. then one day , he'd gotten into a fight at school which resulted in the boy getting hurt. badly. as in, while they were fighting the boy took a wrong move and ended up falling down the steps of the school. now to the eyes of the staff and students, vince had pushed the kid. so the parents weren't to pleased , so they decided to press charges. when he went to court, he was honest about everything and told them that he didn't push the boy but they were fighting. but for some reason, the judge just didn't believe him. so he sent him to juvenile.

vin spent four months there and in all honesty it really didn't work. it only made him realize that no matter what he did - no one would believe him. all that happened during his seventh grade year, by now he was in his eigth grade year. already rumors were being spread about him and people had already judged and labeled him. which was something he hated. so it was nothing new when he began to get into more and more fights. and once again he was being sent back to court to be told he had to spend time in juvie. it was a never ending story. he assumed his mother was becoming fed up with it when she stopped showing up for visits. stopped writing and answering when he called. it hurt at the time but he soon learned to not let his emotions get the best of him. so when he was finally released from his 'prison' , he stayed with his grandparents for awhile. he wasn't surprised when they welcomed him with open arms. they were probably the only ones who ever took the time with him.

so while he stayed with them, he surprisingly stayed out of trouble. not saying that he didn't get into trouble, but it wasn't as frequent as it use to be. the boy stayed with his grandparents for about two years before his mother resurfaced and asked if he wanted to live with her again. the only reason he had said yes, was because of his younger brother. he wanted to be around when the boy gotten older. he wanted to be that sort of 'father figure' the kid needed. even though he was a kid himself. and honestly he didn't want rico to go down the same road he did. he wanted him to actually amount to something and make something out of himself. when he returned home, everything was just as he had left it but the relationship between him and his mother was a bit on the rough side. it took a long time - almost a year - to be exact before he could really open up to his mother again and trust her. plus his grandmother was beginning to have a fit because her family wasn't as tight nipped as it was suppose to be.

when he was around sixteen or seventeen he was walking about in new york city and got spotted by this talent scout. yes, so cliche and so damn lucky but it was true. vince didn't know a thing about acting but what was willing to give it a shot seeing as this sort of thing seemed to only happen once in a life time. it was for some sitcom show and he was casted to play the role of the teenage/troubled son of the family and boy did he ever. it wasn't that hard for him to fit that character because he could really relate as the problem child of the family. the show only lasted for two seasons but it was the best two years of his life. so now here he was in california, trying to rekindle that flame with the love he has for acting. he really wants to become something so that he doesn't have to depend on his family for anything and show that he isnt the spoiled little brat that they know and love.
