Carmen has two sides to her; the ulra bitchy side where she is perfectly capable of ripping somebodies face off, and the super sweet and sensitive side that she shows when hanging out with most of her friends. Living an alternative life style has forced her to build a thicker skin. When people confront her or approach her about her sexuality or something else, she will stand up for herself and will be prepared to throw down. She does not ignore snide comments or rude behavior. With that thick skin, she also holds up a barrier between her and a lot of people. When meeting people she attempts to feel them out and get to know them before revealing that she's a lesbian, because she wants to have a good idea of their reaction. She is also extremely sarcastic but also very blunt. She is not blunt about little things; if someone's shirt is ugly, she is not going to tell them that their shirt is ugly because she doesn't want to hurt their feelings. When it comes to serious topics she's blunt; like if a friend is acting stupid about a situation, she's going to tell them like it is, even if it does hurt their feelings that person deserves to know the truth about the situation.

She does have a soft heart when it comes to charity and her community. She is always the first person to help a friend or an organization. She supports LGBT awareness, the fight for equality, the breast cancer association, homeless organizations and animal rights such as Peta. She loves animals and is also a vegetarian. She volunteers in her spare time and is passionate about the organizations she helps. She loves volunteering in the community because everyone is extremely appreciate of the help and she has the opportunity to meet some of the most generous people in the world. She's also had meaningful conversations with cancer patients and homeless people that have been hit hard by the recession. She is very thankful for what she has.

Aside from this, Carmen is also loyal, protective, family oriented and fun loving. She loves a good party, but she hates getting shit faced. She likes to drink enough to feel it but still remember everything that happened the night before. She's a social drinker, she wouldn't sit at home and finish off a bottle of wine. She just likes to have a good time with friends, going out to dinner and such, there doesn't even have the be any alcohol involved. Carmen stands up for herself, but she'll also stand up for friends and family. She won't get into peoples business if it doesn't directly involve her though, but if someone confronts a friend while she's standing right next to them, shits going down. She's always been one to mind her own business, because she has her own business to worry about.

When it comes to love, Carmen has never been lucky. A lot of girls have played her with heart, and have swung her way and gone back to men in a second. The problem with finding love as a gay woman in these times, is that a lot of girls are very indecisive about what they want. Girls will say they're a lesbian, but then feel uncomfortable in a relationship with a girl and go back to dating men. Carmen has dated a girl that thought that having a boyfriend and a girlfriend had the same time was not a problem, because they were opposite genders. She has also been a victim to girls experimenting. She's figured out that being a lesbian in her young years is part of the problem. She just wants out of her twenties.

Carmen is the youngest of three children. She is and always will be the baby of the family and she was treated as such. As a small child she was spoiled, and even being the youngest she never received hand me downs and always had her own toys. Although her family may have lived in a vineyard with acres of land and horses, she was raised to be humble. Her parents had the vineyard and the jewelry company handed down to them through inheritance. Her grandfather, who now rests in piece, willed the family the vineyard and the jewelry company, but only if they agreed to keep them both going and not sell either of them. The company had always been successful and so had the vineyard, so this could have only brought good fortune to the family. They have wine tastings on their vineyard regularly and celebrities buy the Gonzales family diamonds.

Being family oriented, it was devastating the day that her uncle molested her. She was eight years old when it happened, and it only happened once. Her uncle had threatened to hurt her if she told anyone what he had done. More than likely he was going to do it again. Carmen was a brave child though, and the first thing she did when she got home was tell her parents what had happened. Even though he was blood, they didn't hesitate to call the cops and have him arrested. He was released prison five years ago, but is legally not allowed contact with the family.

The Gonzales children all attended private catholic school and were raised by the Catholic faith. It wasn't shoved down their throats, but they all do have a connection with their religion. Catholic school was a tough time for Carmen though, because that was when she started realizing her sexuality. It was unusually hard because being a lesbian was extremely looked down upon in her school, community, and faith. There were very few people that she told, but it was when she was barely a teenager when she realize this. Her family was supportive, of course her family didn't find out until she had graduated. Her friends were very accepting and as she went off to college at UCLA to major in acting, she began to blossom and really become who she was meant to be without the restriction of religion and peers.

In college Carmen joined a sorority. She was a part of Lambda Theta Alpha, which is a part of the Latino Greek Council. Through this sorority Carmen began her philanthropy. Through the sorority she began volunteering with a number of organizations. She was also a part of the GSA on campus. Even after graduating campus she continues to work with the organizations.

When Carmen arrived at UCLA she was an undecided major. She had no idea what she was going to do with her life, she knew that she was going to be a wine connoisseur but she also wanted to go her own way like her sister had, majoring in journalism at the same school. She took a few extra classes in different fields for fun to help her decide what she might want to major in. She tried business administration, entrepreneurship, bio-engineering and fashion merchandising, but what she landed upon was acting. UCLA had a unique program for students that lasted three years. Most colleges only had programs that taught acting through theater programs, but being located in Los Angeles, where the life of Hollywood of located, UCLA's program was designed to teach acting for the stage, film and television. Carmen was impressed with the program and the talent that the school produced. She signed up as an Acting major.

What made her decide to act professionally was a class project. The juniors and seniors of the UCLA school of theater, film and television were all brought together and given the assignment to make a full length feature film. This took the entire year. Most of the screenwriting students already had developed scripts they had been working on since the beginning of high school, Carmen worked with one of those writers. The film she had acted in had won a competition at UCLA, and was submitted to a few film festivals across the United States to be shown. A couple of festivals picked up the film and showed it. After that Carmen was offered acting jobs. She graduated from UCLA as a Master of Fine Arts in Acting. She took the opportunities that were thrown at her and rolled with them. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Acting in both film and television as an independent actress.
