When she was younger she was crazy and loud and obnoxious. But there was a point in her life - around the time she got married when she realized that wasn’t cute anymore. She matured a lot through her marriage and developed as a person. She learned a lot of things about herself, like how much of a jealous person she could be, she also realized that it was difficult to trust people and also learned how cruel people could be. She learned that even if you love a person it will not stop them from screwing you over. People are surprising, and after her marriage she promised to herself that she would only do things for herself. She would focus on her career and her family and her friends as she got her life back on track.

It would be wrong to call her selfish though. She is very close to her family and she would do just about anything to ensure the happiness of her friends. During her marriage she was very reined in, gave everything to her husband out of love. Right now she’s looking for all the fun that she missed. Getting back into her music and going on tour and performing has allowed her to have all the fun she missed out on. Music is her fun hobby and acting is her serious career. Deon is a fun person, she likes to go out and have fun without all of the drama of getting crazy. She likes jokes and playing around and gets sarcasm. It’s kind of hard to offend her. She’s the kind of girl that you can sit on the couch with and watch movies and eat popcorn and have a fabulous time, even just playing a board game. She’s not picky.

One of her flaws is that she is obsessed with her weight and appearance. Before she was an actress, she was a model, but she had struggled with being self-conscious all of her life. She wears lots of make-up and it takes her forever to get ready to go anywhere. When she’s performing or acting she feels most comfortable with herself, because there’s a costume and make-up team making her look ideal for whatever she’s doing. She works out religiously, everyday for at least an hour in the morning and she’s very conscious about what she eats. She likes to cook and bake though, but mostly does that for other people.

When meeting new people she is friendly, smiley and bubbly. She wants lasting relationships with the people she meets. She also wants to get high up in The Industry and understands that she needs to be on the good side of everyone involved. If she has a concern about her career, she handles it appropriately by voicing her concerns and asking questions. She’s a professional woman.

• Born to Lionel and Luana Williams on September 3rd, 1984. She was the middle children out of three children. They lived in Chicago, Illinois. Her family owned a restaurant called ‘William’s Diner’ which sold traditional hamburgers, French fries, chicken and mashed potatoes. It was quite popular and that’s how they made their living.
  
• Starting when she was 14 she began working at the diner. She got to keep the tips. This was also when she started her dream journal. Now that she had her own money she wanted to save it and she had a goal of travelling to Los Angeles after high school and becoming an actress or a model.
  
• When she was 18 she travelled to Los Angeles with her older brother Brent, who also had big dreams for himself of becoming big in the music industry. The both ended up getting jobs and living together while they worked on finding careers that they both wanted.
  
• Deon’s first Industry job was as a model. She modeled for up and coming designers in the Los Angeles area. She did a lot of in store modeling and runway rather than print ads or commercials.
  
• As her brother started using his money to buy sound equipment, they set up a small studio in their apartment and he began mixing tracks with his sister on vocals. He put those on tapes and sent them to people showing his skills in producing music. In the process bother her and Brent began going to meetings and meeting people in the Industry. Always having an interest in music, Deon took the opportunity she could to make her first album with her brother. She also found an agent during this time and began going to auditions for acting, the reason why she had come to LA in the first place.
  
• At age 22, she married a man she met while modeling, Trenton Parker. He was a talent agent. They married after only knowing each other for six months. During this time Deon began to focus more on acting and her music and fell out of the modeling industry. She also matured a lot during the 3 years she was married for Trenton. She knew what it was like to have a husband and household to take care of and it forced her to be more serious in life rather than just having fun.
  
• After 3 years of marriage, Trenton and Deon got a divorce. Deon had found out that Trenton had been cheating on her with a 19 year old aspiring actress.
  
• Newly single, Deon went back to her brother and demanded they create a second album, this time for serious. Trenton had a job with a big label at this point, and he was more than willing to help his sister. If she couldn’t have love, she was going to have success. Her first single hit the radio and she was on the map. She wasn’t nearly as big as Beyonce or Rihanna or anything, but it was a great pathway into whatever else she wanted to do.
  
• Now that she had her name out there, she began auditioning for more roles in television, which she decided she liked more than film.
  
• She continues to take her music very seriously but is now interested in making it back in the on-screen entertainment world.
