Eddie is extremely modest, or rather, has a serious lack of self-confidence. She’d never let on, but she secretly has the worst stage fright imaginable. On the outside, however, Eddie is a heartless bitch, for lack of a better name. She’s cool and collected at all times, and walks with her head up. She commands attention when she walks in a room. Her bitchiness is subtle, she’ll make you believe her insults are compliments and slowly, she’ll belittle you. Eddie is an instigator, as well. She pushes people’s buttons until they snap. She only dishes it out because she can take it.
Eddie has also been described as intimidating and horribly two-faced – which she understands. She’s headstrong and stubborn, but somehow devilishly charismatic. Eddie, essentially is the person you love to hate. But, as always, she’s got herself a heart of gold – whether there’s a bit of rust covering it, has yet to be determined. She had the best intentions, and will always be honest. If you’re on her good side, you’re set for life. She’s quick to forgive a good friend. If you’re on her bad side, however, Eddie will make it known and she’ll proudly make your life a living hell.

history evaluated.
-- edra bailey was born to emilia prince, a college student studying abroad, and victor lincoln, an aspiring author working overseas at Shakespeare and Co, on December 21st, 1989. the two were unmarried, students with no experience living with a significant other, let alone raise a child. but they were happy. they packed up and moved back to the states, to Greene, NY - where victor's parents lived.
-- emilia prince and victor lincoln were married on june 18th, 1990, after the birth of their son – mackenzie. it was a small wedding, emilia had no family to speak for and very few friends left in the states. so, the couple went down to the courthouse - mackenzie and eddie with them, along with victor's two brothers, chris and david, as witnesses and were wed.
-- emilia lincoln was killed when the couple moved to Brooklyn, NY from Greene, NY in a convenient store robbery. it was the summer of 1991. for a while, victor fell apart. he was in no position to be handling two kids. he'd take them to daycare everyday then sit and sulk at home. eddie and mac were adjusting slowly, but still fine - better off than victor.
-- victor moved eddie and mac to Manhattan to live with his two brothers. the trio had no business raising two children, especially not a little girl. but they got along as best they could. david would put on variety shows with the two, chris would play dress up when eddie so desire and vic was just dad. they were the most dysfunctional family, but at the same time, it worked perfectly.
-- growing up in a home with all men, eddie became somewhat of a tomboy and found her more feminine side watching old films with Katherine Hepburn and Bette Davis. she'd often dress up like the characters they'd play and recite their lines for an infant and toddler version of mackenzie. it was also a way she remained close to her mother, and kept her memory alive. the movies she would watch belonged to emilia.
-- eddie developed a love for acting when she starred as Dorothy in her fifth grade production of Wizard of Oz - a part she received after the original Dorothy beat the Cowardly Lion down with her basket. victor, christopher and david all make her costume and helped her run lines, acting themselves as the Tin Man (victor), the Scarecrow (christopher) and the Cowardly Lion (david).
-- victor enrolled eddie in a performing arts school on the upper east side with the money he earned from his second, best-selling novel. the school was called the Academy of Performing Arts - Manhattan. eddie was shy at first, she had little training. but victor saw something in her, as did the scout that attended Wizard of Oz. it was how she got her first agent - Mister Thomas Cold, of Los Angeles, California.
-- got her first role in eighth grade as Carrie James, the daughter of a zombie apocalypse survivor in an independent take on the cult classic Dawn of the Dead. victor protested, naturally, as a father he didn't want his child around horror films. eddie was equally defiant, she was thirteen, plenty old enough to watch and be in such films. eddie, eventually, won.
-- auditioned around new york whilst still in school. it was hard, however. there weren't many roles out there demanding for a half-Black, half-Irish girl with grey-blue eyes. in fact, most were for blonde, Caucasian girls. which was unfortunate. but it was the look. eddie struggled with that. she often beat herself up after an audition because she wasn't "what they were looking for." regardless of how killer her audition was. she got herself over it, however, when time after time she was granted the lead in her schools musical productions.
-- joined the screen actors guild when she turned eighteen, had a supporting role in a film called Holidaze that her Uncle Davey composed the score for. the cast was relatively unknown, but it got her a new boyfriend - Blake Davis, a hunky, surfer-like boy she played opposite - and some recognition on the streets. something she'd never had.
-- eddie met Maggie Brent, an agent in training. the daughter of Alexander Brent - Hollywood director and the first open lesbian eddie had ever met. it was then, when eddie was twenty, that she got her first girlfriend. the twenty-three year old woman, with fire-engine red hair and the most charming disposition.they dated a year, but unfortunately, eddie was comfortable enough to tell her family she was bisexual - mostly because she didn't believe in it. bisexuality. love was love, whether she found it with a man or a woman was up to fate. so, maggie and eddie split - but remained friends and maggie remained eddie's agent.

roleplay sample.
“Uncle Davey said I had to, Mac. I’m sorry.” Eddie held up one finger to the hot dog vendor, pushing her sunglasses onto the top of her head, “It’s not my fault I can’t pick up your girlfriend, bro. You should have had this figured out beforehand. Yeah, yeah, goodbye, Mackie.”
Calling the man currently handing Eddie Bae Lincoln her hot dog chubby would be an understatement. And, honestly, she might not have noticed had his borderline creepy smile not been the creator of at least twelve chins. She tried to hide her grimace behind a small smile before handing over her money and stepping towards the condiments. Pocketing her iPhone, Eddie squirted on some ketchup and stepped back. Her shoulder hit a passerby, who promptly turned to yell. Eddie gave him her best stink eye and some form of a growl before turning away to leave. Damn New Yorkers. She stomped around Time Square, chewing her hot dog furiously, winking at attractive men and women and examining the billboards for “Tony Award Nominated” this and “Improve yourself” that.
Her phone vibrated, bringing her out of her nearly cheerful gaiety and causing her to grunt. If one more person called, texted or e-mailed, “What?” she answered, “Sorry, Hey Maggie.”
Maggie Brent, an ex-girlfriend and current agent of Eddie’s voice rang over the line. The blonde droned on and on about an upcoming audition, reprimanding Eddie for not being home rehearsing, “It’s father’s day, I’m out doing…father-loving things?” was Eddie’s response, with a small chuckle, “I’ll get on it as soon as we’re done eating at Sardi’s, alright? Alright, love you, bitch. Bye.”
Eddie Bae slid the phone to ‘End’, and sighed. Her eyes rolled and her head titled back. Turning on her heel, Eddie made her way back down the block with a sour glare on her face. So much for a leisurely stroll.
