personality evaluated. around most people, arden is a friendly and sweet person. although she may not the be one of the most talkative people out there, as she hates to look obnoxious and loud in front of others, arden is generally outgoing and enjoys talking with others, sometimes even strangers. she is fun-loving, especially when she's with her close friends. actually, she is that person who laughs at her own jokes. aside from her lightheartedness, she knows when to take situations seriously. she can be ambitious and passionate when it comes to things she feels strongly about. for quite a long time, her mind has been set on acting now, and she does not plan on letting go of her dreams.
even though she may not show it to many people, arden has a short temper. she has gotten in the habit of hiding it to look "professional" and what not, but she has a hard time trying to do so. the fact that she's stubborn doesn't help much, either. she can also be self-absorbed. arden likes to think that she's there for people whom she cares about, which is true, but she has a tendency to think of herself before anybody else. apart from all the negatives, however, arden is an intelligent, strong-willed, and independent actress. because she has faced a few if not several major challenges before during her career and personal life, she has learned not to depend on others easily, which is one of the reasons why she is not married just yet.

history evaluated.
- arden juliette jung was born to a young korean couple in seattle, washington on april 30, 1980, following the birth of her older brother. nick and arden's parents were still in college when they moved to the states from south korea and had arden's brother, nick, about three years before she was born.
- the jung family wasn't super rich, but they made enough to afford necessities. both nick and arden grew up happily during their childhoods. their parents had stable jobs; their father worked as an engineer while their mother worked as a middle school teacher.
- arden did pretty well all throughout elementary and middle schools as she got good grades, but she showed an exceptional interest in acting. she joined the theater club in middle school and played the lead role in a remake of the play my fair lady. seeing their daughter's potential, her parents signed her up for acting classes.
- when she moved onto high school, she continued participating in school plays and musicals. she thought her life was going well until nick fell into the drug scene severely to a point where rehab was the only choice for him. this shocked both arden and her parents, but arden especially, since she had always looked up to him for everything and thought he would be the last person to make that stupid of a decision.
- unfortunately, nick refused to go get treatment for his addiction and fell into depression, which led up to eventual suicide. at the time, he was a pre-med student in college and arden was a sophomore in high school. when the tragedy struck, none of arden's family took it well, for it all had happened so quickly.
- losing her brother was the reality arden did not want to face because she had been so close to him, which was why she ran away from home for a little while, wanting to give up on everything. she soon realized there was no point in wandering around hopelessly, when her parents needed her more than anything at the moment.
- together with her parents, arden eventually learned to leave nick behind their past, graduated from high school, moved down to california and attended usc as a theater major.
- during her years in usc, arden was able to get an agent who landed her a role in a tv show, which was later cut due to low ratings. despite the failure, arden continued to work through college, obtained a bachelor's degree in theater, played a few more minute roles in some episodes and a few movies and took even more acting classes to improve her skills as an actress.
- around that time, she visited her parents' native country, south korea, and unexpectedly auditioned for a k-drama called iris, even though her korean wasn't completely perfect. she gained quite some fame through her lead role in south korea and went onto film a few more, which mostly gained success overall.
- arden came back from south korea a few years ago or so, and picked up her career back in the states again. this time, she was able to finish a tv show successfully while playing a decent role. she still visits south korea to film sometimes, but she hopes to gain even more stardom in the states to be an internationally-known, academy-winning actress.

roleplay sample.ji woon was glad that he was done with the schedule for the day. the variety show and some signing event had gone by pretty quickly - faster than he thought it was going to be, anyway. the night before had been pretty dreadful, since he hadn't gotten a chance to get a good night's sleep. practicing their choreography until three in the morning had not been exactly what he wanted to do, but it was always worth it in the end, on the stage and all. on a happier note, now that he was done for the day, he could have just gone back to the sukso and catch up on his lack of sleep, but he definitely had better plans to meet up with eun hae at lotte world. needless to say, eun hae was one of his closest friends, and besides, he did not get many chances to go to lotte world. he had been there a few times or so during his trainee days, and he remembered it being a pretty legit place, especially since he was a roller coaster mania. unfortunately, though, after the group's debut, it was nearly impossible with the crowds of fans that seemed to be everywhere. the phenomenon and fandom really were ineffable.
taking a glance around the park, ji woon was surprised and glad at the same time that there weren't too many people around. most of the people looked like tourists, judging by the cameras hanging around their necks. there were a few locals recognizing him and taking pictures here and there, but definitely no sign of screaming craziness. well that was fortunate. it was surely a good thing that it was a school day, or else he probably would have had been swarmed already by a mob of middle school girls flashing out their cameras, reaching for him and asking for autographs. he never understood how crazy some fans could get. feeling grateful as ever, the young man stood by the merry-go-around, waiting. he had on a baseball tee, a pair of dark denim jeans, a pair of vans and a light jacket. he didn't feel the need for a coat, despite the chilly october weather outside, considering the fact that lotte world was an indoor theme park, which still amazed him, no matter how many times he went.
he was pretty excited, and that was just an understatement. since they were both pretty busy, he didn't get to see eun hae as much as he used to, back when they were both trainees. the two of them were very close, even though they were under different companies, since their parents had known each other for quite a long time. they grew up together, basically; living in the states, his family went to visit hers in korea many times, and their parents would make their kids play together, which was never a problem. when ji woon's dad's company went under bankruptcy and his mom passed away in a car accident unexpectedly, he was forced to move back to seoul, and eun hae had been there for him, taking him out to different places to comfort him. it was she who had kept him sane and out of depression from all the hectic happenings in his crazy life. things could have been worse for him. who knew? of course, there were many times he had been there - or at least tried - to be there for her. the two of them were like two peas in a pod. so it was definitely weird how he had started to feel a bit awkward her recently. although ji woon was a naturally awkward and weird person in general, he was never like that when he was around eun hae. lately, he seemed to start seeing her as more than just his best friend, and he thought that kind of thing only happened in chick flick movies. no, maybe he was just mistaken. he never thought about her in that way - ever.
so whenever that thought came up, he instantly pushed it away. he was almost completely clueless and stupid when it came to girls, so what was the point of ruining a good friendship?
