• Shy around people he doesn’t know and very private. He won’t bother you about your problems unless you bring them up because he doesn’t want you to bother him about his, and he takes a stupidly long time to warm up to people.
  
• Very unsure of himself and his worth.
  
• A people-pleaser, and will do everything to make people happy, including doing huge favors for people he’s just met and agreeing to go along with plans he doesn’t really feel comfortable with.
  
• Addicted to physical pain and alcohol, and also smokes his fair share of marijuana.
  
• A romantic at heart, despite the fact that he hasn’t had a relationship in nearly six years.
  
• In love with his work, as it’s the only thing that keeps him happy.
  
• Clinically depressed, but refuses to do anything about it.
  
• Stupidly loyal to those close to him, and will do nearly anything for them even at the risk of his own safety.

Cael also...

• Has the ability and the want to start a fight if you take things way too far.
  
• Loves to sleep, and lives in his head more than in reality.
  
• Is 28, and lives in the East Village of New York City.
  
• Works at a record store.
  
• Is a screenwriter (and considers this his career).

He needs everything from friends to enemies to love interests, and having a few people to get him ‘into trouble’ would be absolutely adored. <3

this is very long, i know.

hi! i have here nina who's an actress/singer & currently stars in the sitcom life intertwined. i have a plot idea which i don't know if you'll like or not - i think these two should be friends who could have met through a mutual friend at some party or something? see, she's had a pretty shitty year because she's found herself in situations she never wanted to find herself in. she got married to a guy she originally loathed after a drunken night out then had to spend six months married to him, then when they divorced she fell in love with him but he was dating another girl all while she started hooking up with her co-star who really liked her even though she was just using him. that's not nina at all. she's very low-key and hates drama so it's kind of overwhelming for her. at the moment she's going through a time where she thinks life sucks and probably needs some sort of escape. that's where cael could come in? maybe at some friend's party he could introduce her to pot (which should be interesting) and through him she could realise that her life doesn't suck so much?

i see that he's very shy, private and is somewhat submissive? i think he and nina are on a similar level meaning that she's very nice, polite and sweet and not overtly outgoing particularly when it comes to new friends. she also lives in tribeca (or soho, i forgot XD) so they'd see each other around?

i don't know what you think so please edit/add/delete anything!

A) Long plots are fantastic, so no worries. I like reading them. :3
B ) Read the personality part of Nina's profile. I love! Also, the majority of Cael's screenplays tend to be comedies (think Wes Anderson-ish), so that could be another point of interest. Random though.
C) I should have put this before B, but whatever. I like! It seems like she and Cael have a lot in common so after the initial "What the fuck do I do?" that would probably go down, they would get on very nicely. As for the introducing her to grass, he wouldn't do it intentionally but it would happen. He'd go out for a smoke or something and if she followed him, he'd share. xD But yeah. Once they got to know each other I definitely see them being good friends, And he would try to help her out with whatever was going on as much as he could.
Also, you are very right about the submissive thing. Unless he's by himself he pretty much goes along with whatever anyone else wants him to do about 90% of the time. :3
