personality evaluated.ella's a proud weirdo. she's the kind of girl that'll roll around in the mud, jump in deep puddles, and wade in public fountains just because she feels like it. she's terribly loud, and stubborn as well. elle usually believes that her opinion is always the right one and will refuse to listen to anyone for better or for worse. she has no shame and is blunt and straightforward about her feelings.
ella can come across as snarky and rude when under pressure, and doesn't like to take help from anyone, even her loved ones. she otherwise has an outgoing, slightly strange personality. elle is generally friendly, and loves animals and people alike. she's currently attempting to become a vegetarian, and becomes furious at herself when she slips up and eats meat, with the exception of seafood.
ella is a dork; she worships all things harry potter and still spends her saturday mornings watching cartoons and eating lucky charms cereal. she hates anyone who questions her choices or lifestyle, and is a slight hypocrite. elle is surprisingly judgmental. she usually relies on first impressions when it comes to deciding whether she likes someone or not.
ella is also lazy and always likes to take the easy way out of things whether it's cutting through an alleyway to get home or talking herself out of a morning jog. ella's also random and fun-loving, and usually always tries to be the first to break any tension.

history evaluated.in the summer of 1984, two university students fell in love. there was the naive barbara ellis and the eccentric, impractical hector covell. barbara fell head over heels for hector, who filled barbara with fantasies of fame and fortune from hector's unique art.
naturally, hector convinced his girlfriend to marry him and begin his artistic career. barbara was unsure, but in the end dropped out for love.
in may second, 1986, ella was born. meanwhile, hector's career was only going downhill. his art was unwanted and barbara felt hopeless without a stable job due to her non-existent university degree. ella herself never really got to know her father on a personal level. he abandoned his family because of stress when elle turned three. barbara and hector divorced and felt it best to not stay in contact anymore. ms. ellis started going back to school to become a lawyer, and shaken by her failed marriage, because more practical. her only goal was to make her daughter proud.
meanwhile, ella and her single mother lived in london, england in a cramped one bedroom apartment living off of food stamps, welfare, and barbara's odd jobs. ella as a child had no problem with this until she was ten. in fact, she thought of the current living conditions as temporary no matter what, like a little adventure.
like any normal child, ella despised school from the moment she set foot on the grounds. it was more the kids that set her off more than anything. she was made fun of for her thrift store clothes and eccentric personality. ella determinedly kept her head held up high though, but was constantly upset because of her damaged pride.
in april. 27th, 1998, barbara ellis found love again. she was now a qualified lawyer and ella and her mother soon moved out of their tiny home and settled down in a larger townhouse. ella started acting then, at the age of twelve. she had a knack for it because of her natural confidence and elle had zero shame in pretending to be characters. she took lessons from a hippy type young lady. elle's acting teacher soon became one of her favourite people.
in january. 1st, 1999, barbara audrey ellis and david rupert barnes, a fine arts professor, married in central park, new york, new york. ella almost died from happiness. she had a sister and a father now. elle responsibly took care of her new little step sister, kate and had typical father daughter relationship with david. ella's life outside of school now fully revolved around acting classes, plays, and the occasional musicals though, and often spent her after-school time in lessons. a couple of months after the marriage, the family packed up and moved to a nice, spacious penthouse in manhattan so that david could start teaching at columbia. ella was ecstatic and begged her mother to let her go to almost every other musical on broadway. they now had the money, after all.
for university, ella got a scholarship for julliard. once she graduated, ella said goodbye to her family and moved to los angeles to start her acting career.

roleplay sample.Alice heaved a sigh as she sauntered through the corridors towards the abandoned classroom. She was still partly asking herself why she was going. It wasn't like Alice was particularly fond of the game either. Perhaps some subconscious entity buried deep in the very back of her mind was insisting that she needed to gain a social life. Alice rolled her eyes as her feet carried her up the stairs to the fifth floor. She hopped none too gracefully over a trick step, almost tripping and landing face first onto the stairs.
She was wearing converse high tops, a maroon sweater, and a pair of old jeans so faded and battered that they looked almost stone washed. Alice's hair was tied up in a messy ponytail as usual, and her left hand gripped her beloved wand tightly as she entered the room.
Alice walked in with a faint smile on her face, surprised that there weren't any more than three others in the room.
A wave of panic almost swept her off her feet as she realized that there were only Gryffindors there at the moment as well.
Great, Alice groaned inwardly. Biting her bottom lip she hovered near the doorway for a minute or two.
"Um, hi" Alice greeted in a poor attempt to socialize. At least the classroom had been cleaned up nicely. A large array of snacks and drinks was neatly arranged on the table at the back of the room.
"It looks nice in here" Alice commented pleasantly, still looking around to coolly avoid the Gryffindors' eye contact. Her stomach churned; she was never exactly popular before and talking wasn't her strength.
I should have brought a book. Alice thought, the novelty of sneaking through Hogwarts was wearing off quite quickly.
"I'll just, you know... Sit over here" Alice said, stepping off to the side and diving into a squashy chintz arm chair to her right.
Whew, that was a close one...
