personality evaluated.
SWEET&CARING: Cameron is, first and foremost, a nice guy. He will go out of his way to help people out and to make people he cares about happy. He rarely has a cross word to say about anyone and is hard pressed to truly dislike someone. Of course he is not a pushover, and when pushed far enough he will react. But he makes friends easily and keeps them even more easily. Cameron sees the good in all people and trusts far too easily, which often comes back to get him in the end. However, no matter how many times he is wronged, he does not hold it against the people around him. There are certain things that will set him off, such as cross words about his family, friends, or race, but he is almost always the perfect gentleman. If a friend is upset, Cameron is the one who will drop everything to be the helping hand or shoulder to cry on. This quality makes him relatively popular with the ladies, but he does not take advantage of it.
INNOCENT&NAIVE: Cameron grew up in a military household where is father was rarely around and was raised primarily by his mother. Because of this, he was relatively sheltered and taught more sensitive things than a child raised by a father would have been. Because of this, Cameron is still a virgin and is extremely innocent in most social situations. He has never touched alcohol, drugs, or cigarettes and has never truly had the inclination to do so. Not only that, but he has never done more than kiss a girl. He is not saving himself for marriage or anything extreme, but his mother always taught him that the moment and person had to be right for that type of physical connection and that is an idea that he ascribes to faithfully. As such, Cameron is incredibly naive when it comes to the aggressiveness that girls tend to look for and has not yet been fully exposed to the crazy party scene that most kids engage in at his age. He flirts innocently, but only because he's very charming not because he is trying to.
ROMANTIC&LOVING: Because he is looking for the right moment to really 'be' with a girl, Cameron has an overwhelmingly large romantic streak in him. When he courts a female, he does it in the traditional sense. He buys flowers and little gifts just because. He calls to say hi and likes to really spend time with a girl before it becomes an official relationship. He loves to compliment women and make them feel better about themselves and feels guilty when he cannot make a girl smile. He finds it disrespectful to swear in front of women, and if he slips up and does it he will immediately apologize. He doesn't mind being somewhat crude around his boys, but he will not do that in front of a woman. And if any other guy wants to find himself as Cameron's enemy, it can easily be done by disrespecting a woman in front of him. Maybe it's because he's a mama's boy, but if there is one thing that he will physically fight for, it is a female that is being disrespected or wronged.
FUN&FRIENDLY: Cameron, in spite of his innocence and naivete, is a very fun person to be around. He never meets a stranger and is friendly to everyone from the jump, reserving judgment as much as possible. He loves to go to clubs and parties and dance and just hang out with his friends. Cameron laughs at himself often because he doesn't take himself too seriously, so he is never too serious or boring to be around. A situation like studying with him turns into a great time because he is almost always in a good mood and ready to make jokes and say silly things. He has a playful personality and he is not afraid to turn a serious, sour situation into a fun and exciting one.

history evaluated.
Cameron Maurice Adelaide was born on May 5th, 1988, a rainy day in London, England. His father, Maurice, was stationed there as a pilot in the United States Air Force. The family would not stay in London for long, as Maurice was about to get furloughed for a few months and then take orders in another part of the world. This became the typical routine in Cameron's life. Just as soon as he got used to a new school and had new friends, he and his family moved somewhere else. Having been to 10 different schools up until Year Ten, Cameron was very used to being friendly and fun so that he made new friends easily. No one likes being the new kid, so he did everything he could to assimilate quickly in his new surroundings. He actually became quite good at it. Due to his ability to make people laugh and his naturally kind personality, Cameron (to this day) has friends all over the world from his various homes.
Aside from the moves, however, Cameron's childhood was nothing short of blessed. He had a father and mother who loved him very much, although his father was not around as much as he would have liked to be. Therefore, Cameron was very close to his mother and developed a relationship with her that would eventually shape the way he treated all women in his lifetime. His mother came from a relatively wealthy family and worked in a rather lucrative business, nursing; and his father was making more than enough money in the Air Force. Cameron wanted for nothing and they always lived in nice neighborhoods and nice houses. Because of this, Cameron did not have the life that most people think is typical of a young, black kid (not to mention his mother was white). But rather he grew up alongside a predominantly white base of friends, that is not to say that he did not know any black people, and in a predominantly white society. He fit in well, and very rarely experienced any sort of racism.
That was until he went to a predominantly black middle school for years six and seven. There he was discriminated against by the other black kids. He had never before encountered this problem. He was often called "bourgeois" because he was wealthy and because he talked properly and did not use the slang that the other kids used. This was where he picked up his love for hiphop culture for the first time. He did not completely change his personality, quite the contrary really. For the first time, Cameron felt that he embodied both aspects of his person. He had perfectly blended what was considered white and black culture. It was then, at the tender age of 11, that he had discovered his penchant for dancing. He often enjoyed street dance competitions with his friends. His friend base was diversified and he had both black friends and white friends, because he fit in with both groups of people. Cameron truly felt like he belonged.
Of course, after year seven, his family moved again. This time to a small town in Virginia. Cameron again transitioned smoothly, although this area was not very "ethnic" or diverse. He stayed in Virginia until high school. By then he had gone from singing in the choir at church to singing for fun and at talent shows and open mic nights. The kid had talent, to say the least, and he was a pretty talented songwriter as well. His mother began researching performing arts schools for her son, though his father would have preferred to keep him in a regular, public school. She found a performing arts school in London after his first year of high school and Cameron took an interest immediately. It was convenient that his father was being stationed in Germany within the next few months, and he would therefore be semi-close to his family. Cameron applied to the school under a double major of dance and singing, because he could not choose between the two and had proven his proficiency in both areas.
While his parents packed up and moved to Berlin, Cameron packed his own boxes and suitcases and prepared himself for his first small taste of independence and his glorious return to his country of origin. He enjoyed his stay in England immensely. Not only was he able to work hard to hone his skills in singing and dancing, he also found that he had developed quite a penchant for acting. More importantly, however, Cameron had found stability. He was in one place for more than just a few months to a year, and he made friends. One of these friends, would turn out to be the most important person in his life (Second only to his mother). Her name was Blake Bailey, and when he met her he had no idea how deeply he would come to care about her. After years of being her friend and protector, Cameron still finds himself as deeply in love with Blake as he was the first time he ever saw her. This, however, has become his biggest secret.
After graduation, Cameron and Blake decided not to go their separate ways, as they had become a support system for one another. They began exploring their careers, working together in music as well as small acting roles. Eventually, they both hit it big, though if you ask Cameron, Blake is the far more talented and famous of the two. So they moved to Hollywood, where they could live out their dreams and their adult lives.
After his initial move to Hollywood and a successful foray into film acting (landing a starring role in the action film, Six Lives) Cameron felt he was "losing himself" to the fame. Sick of the paparazzi, groupies, and dramatic situations, Cam decided to leave. So he took what he referred to as a religious sabbatical. He literally vanished. There were few reports on what he was doing as he tried his best to avoid the limelight. He returned, one year later, ready to jump back into film with a fresh new outlook on life, more tattoos, blonde hair, and a more balanced spiritual center.

roleplay sample. Finally, it was time. He had been waiting for this moment forever. Time to return, time to relive, time to rejoice. It had been a year since he had even set foot in Hollywood, and honestly, he had missed it a lot.
Cameron had never been “Mr. Hollywood” and he had adapted to fame pretty poorly. A mama’s boy at heart, he had a lot of trouble adjusting to the Hollywood lifestyle. Women throwing themselves at him, people asking him to forfeit his morals for roles or fame, and scandals the likes of which he had never seen. High school had been bad enough for drama, if only someone had warned him that this was going to be even worse. Eventually, he had enough. There was a scandal, a huge one, involving a woman alleging that she had suffered sexual harassment at his hands. Sure, most people were surprised. Not Hollywood’s golden boy? The one who NEVER had trouble. Who never stumbled onto set late, hungover from the night before. No. It couldn’t be him. And eventually, her claims were proven false. But by then, the damage had been done.
Cameron could barely even speak to girls before the scandal, lack of confidence coupled with an extreme issue with shyness had always been his downfall. Now a twenty two year old virgin, he wasn’t exactly chomping at the bit to meet women. Being accused of mistreating one, something he would never do, had sent him into a deep depression. So he had to leave.
And he did. Never heard from. Rarely seen. But definitely alive and well.
He felt terrible about leaving. But he had felt he had no choice. He had tried to keep in touch with fans via fan mail, but he was sure most of them felt betrayed... and he hadn't spoken to Blake in months. They had always been the best of friends, almost joined at the hip. And he had never loved another human being more (with the exception, obviously, of his mother). He could barely contain his excitement to see her and he only hoped she'd be just as happy to see him. But somehow he was sure that would not be the case. But nestled deeply in his backpack was a small black box containing a diamond necklace he had picked up for her while he was away. He knew he could not buy back her trust or her friendship, but he hoped she would understand just how much he had thought about her while he was gone.
The plane had long since landed, and Cameron had remained seated, kind of afraid of what was waiting outside of those doors. Surely he had kept his return under wraps… surely no one would be there. He took a deep breath and stood up, collecting a single bookbag and heading towards the door. He never could have been ready for what awaited him, but at this point there was no looking back. He glanced at his dim reflection in the glass of the windows and stepped to the door and out of the plane, ready to start his life again and eager to get back to work.
The flash of cameras was almost instant when he stepped into the terminal. Fans were screaming, some happy, some not so happy. Many were surprised at the hair...and Cameron was sure that Perez Hilton would have a blog post about him within the hour. He took a deep breath and moved his eyes from the black Polo boots that adorned his feet to the crowd in front of him. After a short moment, he smiled for the camera, adjusting his backpack on his left shoulder and taking steps forward as the crowd was parted by his loyal security team. He stopped every few feet to shake some hands and sign some autographs, finally exiting the terminal twenty minutes later and sliding into the backseat of the limo waiting for him.
He sighed heavily but grinned, positive (for the first time) that he made the right decision when he came back.
