ruby is originally from topeka, kansas and moved to los angeles when she was young to do a show (degrassi: the next generation). she's been in los angeles ever since. she lived with her aunt and cousin, but moved out and now lives on her own. ruby is a sweet girl, who loves to meet new people and make friends. she is a very friendly person, almost to the point of being annoying. she tends to just speak without regards to what is coming out of her mouth. she says mostly whatever is on her mind and has this inability to censor herself which some find endearing, others annoying. she has been acting since forever and it's all she's ever wanted to do with her life. she just finished working on her first main movie role in red skins and has now returned to los angeles. ruby has been described as a bit naive. she's a virgin and hasn't had a relationship that has been defined as serious. she got screwed over by her first boyfriend and since then, has been a bit clingy with those who have showed interest. mostly, she just wanders through life blissfully unaware of what is happening and how she feels. she's a very simple person.

tahnee is an australian who moved to the usa after graduating high school. she settled into new jersey before stumbling across acting. it had been something she liked, but had never thought to pursue it as a career. now that she has begun to act, she loves it and the lifestyle it allows her to lead. she has never been the type of person who enjoyed a steady life: nine-five job, stable relationship, routine. she likes the unknown and endless possibilities. instead, she had settled into the craziness that is new york city. tahnee is a strange type of person. she shows her affection for her friends by insulting them and picking fights over nothing. it's a type of defence mechanism for her. it keeps out people who would bail on her in a heartbeat. along with her rude nature, she can be very sarcastic; a trait that loses her friends at times. she isn't all bad though. she is a very loyal friend and is very defensive of them. as she isn't afraid of conflict, she doesn't care about starting a fight to defend them. that doesn't mean she involves herself in petty dramas around her. she prefers to only involve herself if the issue is a large one. she prefers to keep her distance from people, in general. she has some self-esteem issues that she keeps hidden; something that is easier to do with strangers than best friends.

roxy is a canadian actress who spends equal amounts of time in los angeles and new york city. she is a carefree girl who is quite happy moving from place to place, going from guy to guy and jumping from job to job. she's a carefree kind of person who enjoys nothing more than not having to commit to anything except a job and a lease. she is known best for her uncommitted attitude. she would rather a fling over a relationship any day. in fact, every time she has tried a relationship she has cheated or just up and left for no good reason. it's one of her key faults, but there is so much more to roxy. she's the ex-girlfriend of cash cooper and the pair were quite a pair. she rivals in both arrogance and pride. roxy is very sure of herself and doesn't let anyone - except herself at times - bring her down. she does not see the point in insecurity as there is nothing you can do to change yourself. at the moment, roxy is very aware of her jealousy in regards to cash's relationship with chesa zadian. she hates that cash has moved on to another relationship, but she denies it. instead, she makes up for it with mindless dates and lots of one night stands. it's her way of dealing with heavy emotions she doesn't want to have.

kaden is british and moved to los angeles when he was twenty. he is the youngest of two children and now an uncle of two. he is a director and dreams of working with the names of actors he idolises like mel gibson, brad pitt, will smith and many more. he wants to direct high budget films and win awards for his work and he has since he was fifteen. now, kaden is a pretty bossy person. he likes control and gets upset and moody when control isn't with him. he doesn't like just going along for the ride. he feels uncomfortable giving up power. he's also kind of selfish. he tends to think about himself before others, although he tries to watch himself with that. he is capable of being an empathetic, giving person, but it doesn't come naturally to him. he does have to work quite a bit, but the point is that he does try for those who are close to him. kaden has issues with his self-esteem because of an issue that plagues. he has difficulties with new sexual partners and tends to avoid them because of it. to compensate for his insecurity, he talks himself up in every way possible. despite this, he is a nice enough person who enjoys a good laugh.

addie is originally from san antonio, texas. she is an aspiring musician who is currently working as a song writer/composer for television shows and movies. she wants to make it big as a singer some day. it's been her dream for a long time. she's a pretty normal teenage girl. she likes to hang out with her friends, shop, hit up the beach and all that jazz. there is just one thing that sets her apart. she doesn't believe in love in any shape or form. she thinks it brings nothing but unhappiness. her parents' rocky marriage caused her view to be like this. she doesn't like serious relationships. she dates but because it's fun and she likes to be with a person. the moment it begins to feel serious, she flees. addie is a very observant individual and she's also very selfless. she'll do whatever she can for a person who needs her and she puts others before herself. despite this, she doesn't let herself be pushed around. she's not a doormat and won't be treated like one. all in all, she's a lost teenage girl in need of some guidance in her life.

s e t h & r u b y » seth too resides in los angeles. he moved there from las vegas when his parents were killed in a car accident. he wasn't into acting at first, but he got an offer, needed money, dove into it and now he completely loves it. he is only able to scrounge up small roles and commercials/modeling jobs at the moment, but he hopes to work his way up. she seems like the kind of girl seth would have been interested in before he became famous. maybe she was one of his ex girlfriends? it ended on good terms? im not sure. whatever you'd like!

RUBY & SETH ex's sounds good to me. was it a short or long relationship? that'd have a lot to do with how ruby saw him. if it was a short relationship, ruby would totally be happy being friends with him and would be her normally self around him. if it was a slightly longer relationship, ruby would be a bit weird and would probably be a bit jealous of other girls he'd be interested in, which could be dramatic as ruby is friends with chanelle, haha.

TAHNEE & SETH well, tahnee is situated in new york for the most part, so thinking about how they'd meet is a big one. maybe one of them flies to la/nyc ( depends on the person, of course ) and they meet each other at some kind of audition? or they could've met at an event, or they could've filmed a commercial or something together. tahnee tries not to hit up the party scene too much because of her past, so maybe he tries to play bad influence on her or something and she just completely blows him off.

ROXANNA & SETH she's the kind of person who would use his insecurities to her advantage. she'd probably try to boost his ego to try and get into his pants or something. roxy is the type of girl likes conquests. she'd want him, have him and then be finished with him. or try to, anyway. until then, i totally see her trying to boost his ego and pull him closer to her. he could maybe think it's her innocently flirting with him and just be her friend or something?

she's an a-lister. She's not the typical a-lister, she's kind and collected, she's not much of a party animal. She's like a normal person in a fabulous life. I think the two of them would bash heads, maybe Blake hooked up with him, [not sex cause blake is a virgin.] and it didn't work out so well because they are so opposite.

RUBY & SETH well, we can think of a reason why they broke up that's in character. i mean, it could've been something simple like he felt kind of smothered by her. ruby tends to cling to boyfriends without realising it, so to her, it would've seemed like a fake reason, while to him, it was a legitimate reason to break up.

KADEN & BLAKE the hooking up wouldn't have happened, at all. unless the two had been dating or something. see, kaden has issues when it comes to new sexual partners. he gets nervous and usually can't get an erection, so he avoids new sexual partners until he knows that they care for him beyond a hook up. i could see them bashing heads though, since kaden tends to talk himself up to an extreme level.

Blake / Kaden, i see them only being enemies.
Blake / Ruby, i see the two of them getting along and even being friends, but i think Blake would be a little annoyed with her naive side. Blake would not want to be in the same room with her for long. but its not like Blake to be truly mean to someone.
Zane / Ruby: he's known to be everyones pal. and their even from the same area. Maybe Zane and her could be friends, he's pretty patient and he's highly respectful to woman, this could help. ugh i'm failing and i know it.

RUBY & BLAKE ruby's not that naive, but she is very annoying. so she could definitely get on blake's nerves a lot, especially since she'd probably make a ton of comments that shouldn't be made around her.

RUBY & ZANE that sounds absolutely perfect to me! ruby likes zane from the little that she talked to him in the ic chat, plus she kind of likes a lot of people. and she thinks his name is awesome. i also volunteered ruby for your plot suggestion with cameron ( aka the matt lanter ) so that'll ensure some drama at a later point and it could also strengthen the friendship of these two.
