personality evaluated.
Haven is a very precocious twenty-three year old, he always had a mature outlook on life. Though, there are moments when he sheds the adult way, and views the rest of the world through childish eyes. While growing up, Haven idolized his older brother. Everything he did was recorded in his youthful mind with eager fascination, there wasn’t anything his brother couldn’t or wouldn’t do, and because of that, Haven grew to be a bold, daring individual on the inside, and displayed perversely on the blank page. As far back as he could remember, Haven held a love for books, and not just books, but writing. He wrote down everything; his thoughts, his dreams, his feelings. Every little grain of salt to enter his mind was written and expressed down upon the page. He created other worlds, gave birth to a variety of characters. He knew all of them by name, all of them by personality, and understood these invisible “friends” right down to their center core.
He is shy, but determined. By being wrapped up in the world of books and writing, left him lacking in the social scene. Had it not been for his older brother, Nikolai, he may have become detached from it all. His family, his sibling, became an outlet for Haven, a way for him to express what was happening internally. To his surprise, Nikolai shared the same interest, and together, they were able to act out his stories, bring the characters he created to life. Nikolai had an uncanny talent to act, and seemed to enjoy doing so. In his work, it revealed just how empathic Haven can be, harnessing and developing emotions. Not only is he able to convey emotions in his stories, but he is also empathic in real life. He has a way of seeing people, understanding how they feel, and offering advice whenever it felt appropriate to do so.
Haven is the exact opposite of his older brother. Whereas Nikolai is open in projecting his intentions onto other people, Haven occasionally recoils. He does not have a keen way with women, and is unsure about himself when around them. On friendlier terms, it is easier to hold a conversation. Flirting and intimacy, on the other hand, is a completely different task to overcome. He is easily nervous and intimidated when a moment arises when the opposite sex catches him by surprise. All one has to do is get the boy talking and he is able to calm down and relax without incident. He is open to being in a relationship, but more than anything, Haven is career driven. He wants to build his credibility, be recognized by his peers.

history evaluated.
On May 10, 1987, Rachelle and Dante Vladimir, welcomed their second son, Haven Aleksey into their lives, joining alongside his older brother, Nikolai. His parents were married seven years before their birth of their two sons, living a comfortable life in rural St. Petersburg, just outside the city, favoring the country. Dante was a physician, working at a small clinic, and Rachelle worked with the children at the city school. They were more than prepared to build their family and investment, and did so, welcoming two boys. Rachelle left her job shortly after giving birth to Haven to provide for her family by staying at home. There were able to live off the medium income Dante brought home after a rigorous day at the medical office. Rachelle was influential, she worked alongside her boys, teaching them how to read as soon as they could walk, preparing them well before their peers, by the time they entered the educational system.
From the start of his first day, Haven adored school. He went everyday, seldom taking a sick day. He enjoyed history and literature above all else, suffering minimally in arithmetic. Math had never been his strong suit, and never will in his life, as his brain was geared for much more creative processes than logical. Haven was an avid reader, taking the book directly out of his mother’s hands, he practically taught himself out to read, and started reading regularly by the time he was five years old. There was something intimate about the books he read, the worlds he imagined, and the stories that would soon blossom and develop. Before long, when he began picking up on the ability to write, he crafted his stories, whether they were sensible or not at that age, filling all the notebooks he acquired for school. There was never a moment when Haven didn’t have ideas streaming about inside his mind, and over time, his imagination grew vivid.
His older brother was much more adventurous and Haven looked up to him because of it. He wanted to be just like his older brother, doing all the things he was capable of doing. But where his brother was open about his ability to act in front of others, Haven instantly recoiled, favoring the place behind the scenes. By the age of seven, the boys were much more aware, and began acting out the stories Haven had written. It was becoming more and more clear, the older they became, their love of putting on shows for their parents. Nikolai was the deciding factor between the two, when he constantly talked about moving to America, living in California, and acting for film and television. Excited, Haven wanted to live the same kind of life, he wanted to follow his brother to the other side of the world, and with the same kind of need.
Haven could see the disappointment on his father’s face when the truth was revealed. He always imagined his boys as doctors or lawyers, doing something positive with their life. Time and time again, Nikolai explained that being creative and expressing one’s self is just as positive, as pursuing a career in medicine. Their mother, she calmed the hidden rage building inside their father, and at long last, convinced him to allow the boys to follow after their dreams, you do only live life once. Dante agreed to let them go, but under one condition, that they attend the university to gain an education, in case all did not go accordingly.
Haven and Nikolai agreed to the condition and were soon living in Los Angeles, attending USC. Haven enrolled at the university majoring in Scriptwriting, with a minor in Creative Writing. He wrote several pilots and accompanied episodes, two full screenplays, and one collaboration, a montage, with his brother. Haven has a year left before his graduation, and during the meantime, continues to write his aspiring novel and screenplays, building his portfolio, in order to one day pass onto an executive. In the meantime, he shares the thrill of the camera, the glory of the lights, alongside his brother who describes the acting routine.
Haven is currently working on his novel, and making the finishing touches on a screenplay.

roleplay sample.
Haven sat in the green inflated chair, controller in his hand, his eyes set on the screen, as he maneuvered his character to the next level. If it is anything he enjoyed the most is playing video games. He had several gaming consoles in his room, including one computer. He favored many different kind of games, such as World of Warcraft, something about superheroes as the second. Currently, he kept his eyes peeled on Halo 2. The large set of headphones complete with microphone, lay strapped around his head. He was plugged into the online system, listening calmly to the other players as they battled it out on screen. Haven sent his man forward, the machine gun held proudly in both hands, with the name “LORDHAVEN” reflected over the man’s head, visible to the other players.
There was one particular player Haven detested more than anyone else, and at present, he was on the hunt of searching and destroying him. He patiently listened, memorizing the voice of the eighteen year old kid, playing somewhere in Denver, talking smack about everyone else while praising his kills a little too loudly. Those calculating brown eyes narrowed sufficiently as the man on the screen etched around the foundation of a building. The setting chosen was in a desert somewhere, with bright orange sand, blazing hot yellow sun with hazy blue sky. The pound, pound, pounding of feet stomping over the imaginary plane, peeking around the corner.
Now, where is he, he wondered, waiting patiently for a sign from the player.
I can see you, SweetAss390,” he seethed, ”Payback’s gonna suck for you, bitch.”
Haven darted across the open plain, ducking behind fallen debris, in hopes of discovering the whereabouts of SWEETASS390, which would inevitably lead him to the eighteen year old bastard whose game name read THEDESTROYER393. Where is he, he thought, where is this kid, I’m going to make him eat metal. Something flashed across the screen, another bulky character decked out in plated armor, streamed past him. From Haven’s point of view, pressing a button to peer through the scope of his gun, caught sight of SWEETASS390 running in the opposite direction. Perfect. Haven crouched low, knowing THEDESTROYER393 was somewhere close by. He had the best shot to blow away SWEETASS390, but doing so would mark his location. So he remained low, unmoving, but casually searching the location of the annoying eighteen year old.
He prepared his gun, holding his fingers down on the triggers, aiming at the sky, when a shadow lurched on top of a nearby roof. Haven waited, waited, watching carefully and sure enough, THEDESTROYER393 was running after the other. The corners of Haven’s mouth slid into a comforting smile, knowing he had the tight shot, and took it. The machine gun blasted a rain of imaginary bullets, pelting the armor and the character of THEDESTROYER393, ultimately leading to his sudden demise.
“WHAT?! Who did that! Who was that?! Son of a bitch! FUCKER!”
Haven cackled, turning off his headset. Ah, all in a day’s work.
