personality evaluated.
Keith is a strange, complicated soul. He always, always puts his emotions before logic or fact -- which can sometimes lead to bad situations. However, because of this, you are likely to find him interesting and friend material in the way that he is always kind, always caring, always willing to be a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen. Listening is one of his biggest positive qualities -- though he isn't really a quiet person by any means, he knows when the time comes to shut up and let his ears take over for his mouth. He loves meeting new people and making friends, so if you're looking for a friendly soul to talk to, it's always safe to approach him in a crowd. He loves all sorts of people, and has such a wide variety of friends that if you put all of them into one room, it would probably represent the world's population on a much smaller scale.
Honesty and trust are huge things to Keith -- if he ever discovers you lying to him or anyone close to him, you'll be kicked out of the group so fast, you won't even have time to utter a "Sorry." It isn't hard thing to understand, with the things that have happened in his past. The number one man in his life, his true hero, once told him that he would never leave him. Only a year later, he was gone. Therefore, trust is a big issue with this man. You're really going to have to work hard to get past his outer protective shell. But once inside, you'll find yourself with a caring, devoted, best friend for life. Very few people have the privilege of sitting in this circle of trust.
On the less positive side of Keith's personality, sometimes he can seem distant, even a little bit cold-hearted. If you remind him even a little bit of his father, or of his former fiance, he is likely to treat you as an enemy, even if you've spoken only once or twice. Speaking of his fiance, the divorce hit him much deeper than he will ever be willing to admit. He has only been in two relationships since that year, and each of them failed miserably, neither lasting more than a couple months. He is over-protective of his heart, not letting anyone in. Sure, he may flirt with you -- he's a flirt by nature, he simply can't help it -- but only if you are very, very lucky will it ever escalate beyond that. So if you find yourself smitten by his suave charm and general kindness, I wish you luck in delving into matters of the heart. It is a very sticky subject, indeed.

history evaluated.
Born on July Twenty Ninth in Little Rock, Arkansas, Keith Avery Morgan was the son of Mark and Stella Morgan, the product of a shotgun marriage. Stella was only sixteen, the father nineteen, and neither had meant for the pregnancy to happen. While Stella remained positive, excited at the prospect of starting a family with her high school sweetheart, Mark was pessimistic about the situation. He remained faithful to Stella and the baby for the first five years of Keith's life, but then suddenly disappeared without a trace only days before his son's birthday. He wasn't seen again for many years to come. Keith was heartbroken, unable to understand why his hero would leave him behind without so much as a "goodbye."
Despite this bump in the road, Keith remained an eccentric little boy who loved nothing more than to sit in front of the television and sing along with his favorite Disney movies. His mother noticed his talent for acting through the way he would come home from seeing a film in the theaters, and proceed to act out his favorite scene with precise memory and flourish. Stella received a career opportunity in the Big Apple when Keith was eight, and so they packed up and moved, leaving behind the haunting memories of an absent father. She enrolled him into a children's acting troupe at the age of ten, and he'd never been more happy in his entire life.
At the age of sixteen, though, Keith received an unexpected visitor. Mark Morgan made a reappearance into his son's life -- unfortunately, the visit would be brief and unpleasant. Keith came home from school to his father was standing in the front room with his mother. It'd been ten years since he last saw him; he only recognized him because of the few old photographs he had. Running inside, Keith exclaimed, "Dad!" But when the man looked over, his gaze was hard. "Keith," he acknowledged, his voice cold. "Don't call me that." taken aback, Keith's eyebrows furrowed. Wasn't his dad happy to see him, after all these years...? But Mark left only minutes after Keith arrived, saying to Stella, "Don't ever call me again." This broke the teen's heart. He'd longed for his father for his entire life, and just as fast as his hope had sparked, it'd been crushed.
He tried to move on after this, throwing himself into his high school's theatre program with vigor. Daily rehearsals for upcoming plays and musicals left him no time to be sad about the cruelty of his father. He starred in nearly every production there was to participate in during his four years of high school. In his junior year, Keith met and fell for a blonde cheerleader by the name of Holly Evans. They dated during junior and senior year, and Keith proposed to her the day of graduation.
Two long, troubled years passed for them, and though they were in love, fights were common. Holly was eager to start a family right away, but Keith had experienced first hand how having children too early can ruin a marriage, and so he refused. Eventually, Holly divorced him and moved away to Paris, France to pursue a lifelong dream of becoming a model.
Keith was twenty years old now, and extremely overeager to start his career. He landed a few small roles in commercials and low-budget films as an extra, but he could never seem to find any big time roles. There was a period of about three years where he put aside his acting career to pursue music, working nights at clubs and forking over tons of cash to record small studio sessions. Unfortunately, this never really got him anywhere, and eventually he gave it up and got back into the acting scene. Right away, he landed a role as a supporting character in a film much larger than any he'd been in before. The pay was good, and it relit the kindle of hope he had for his acting career.
Two more supporting roles followed his success, and that leads us to the present day, where he is currently looking into a role in the movie The Immortals. Will he get the job? Only time will tell.

roleplay sample. It'd been quite a while since Keith had been anywhere with Ryan. Sure, they talked all the time, over IM and through the chatbox, but they weren't really the type of friends who called each other up every day to get together. It was mainly because usually hanging out led to awkward situations and major sexual frustration -- or, at least for me it does, Keith reflected. Besides that, neither of their schedules ever really allowed get-togethers. Keith worked at the club from four to eleven o' clock, every weekday, and sometimes even Saturday's if he had nothing else to do and decided he wanted to go in -- it didn't happen often, but there was the occasional boring day where he just couldn't stand sitting around at home anymore. And of course, Ryan's job was extremely demanding. Keith didn't really understand how a doctor's work schedule was set up, but he did know that Ryan spent unnecessary -- and, quite frankly, unhealthy -- amounts of time at that hospital. He worried about him often.
Therefore, he was very glad when Ryan gave him that little nod. His face lit up a bit, and he glanced back to give that nurse a little smile of thanks. Looking back to Ryan, he took in his worn demeanor and began to wonder where he could take them that wouldn't require too much strenuous activity... It was too late to have dinner, Keith had already eaten, but then he wondered if Ryan had... "Where you wanna go?" He asked in that calm, low-key tone of his. "We could get something to eat if you're hungry, but I probably won't have anything. I already ate." Giving a little shrug, he started to walk towards the doors, but then stopped again. "Don't forget your coat. It's cold out" Always the mindful, caring person in every conversation.
Once Ryan had established where he wanted to go and retrieved his coat, Keith walked with him out the doors of the hospital into the cold nearly-winter air. Looking around at the frost-covered grounds, he took in the lonely look of the trees, all stripped of their leaves. There were times Keith had felt like that when he was around Ryan; naked, alone. They were so close to each other, and yet always so far. 'It has to be like that,' He told himself. ' It'll never be anything more, so quit your dreaming.' He was naked to Ryan in the sense that he didn't hide his emotions -- well, all except for one. He could tell Ryan... almost.. everything. Basically, anything that didn't involve the the phrases "I think I'm bi," or "I'm madly, deeply, crazy in love with you." (or any variation of said phrases), Keith felt free to express to Ryan. He knew the man would never judge him, never put him down. He was just a wonderful friend like that, and it only added more to the grief that Keith felt, telling himself that they could never be together in quite the way he wanted them to be. Best friends, forever, and nothing more.
