secrets. 01. she is absolutely terrified that she's never going to matter to anyone & that if she should die, no one would remember her ( she doesn't care if it's an irrational fear or not - she's still scared ) & no one would care. 02. in august, minnie became pregnant but quickly terminated the pregnancy before word got out, & told the father she'd had a miscarriage ( he'd wanted to keep the baby; minnie freaked out upon learning this ) - they broke up soon after. 03. she knows that her elder sister absolutely despises being a house wife & in order to get back at her husband, she frequently cheats on him with her friends & neighbours. scout doesn't know that minnie knows this. 04. she taught jess & dani their first word - shit. she blamed it on scout's husband's fondness of swearing. 05. minnie is still scared of the dark & sleeps with a nightlight she stole from her nieces.
personality evaluated. minnie has been known for her extreme use of sarcasm when the situation didn't call for it. she finds it hard not to make sarcastic comments because they usually make up 95% of everything minnie says. she can be extremely stubborn & once she has decided something, there is no changing her mind whatsoever. she will not budge on the matter, at all. it makes arguments with her friends & family particularly difficult & frustrating because she just won't listen & refuses to change her mind. she's very protective of the people she loves & will defend them in a heartbeat if the situation presents itself - however she can be rather possessive, so much so that she'll end up arguing with people because they spoke to her friend. she's pretty sure her possessive streak has something to do with the fact that she & scout had to fight daily over what was theirs, but she's not completely convinced. she's very impatient, & doesn't like being made to wait for things ( the fact that she has to wait to hear back from multiple people about whether she got the part in a film / tv show kills her daily ). she's very reckless & rarely thinks about things before she just ups & does them. she likes to be impulsive & unpredictable.
however, despite her many negative traits, minnie is a very loyal & reliable friend, with whom you could trust your darkest secret & be sure that it would never get out. minnie is a very determined little madam & will do everything in her power to make sure things go her way, or that she does something to the best of her ability. the only reason she did so well in her exams at school was that plenty of her teachers ( & even her father at one point ) had all told her that she would never do well at the course. this spurred her on to prove them wrong, &, in the end, she even did better than her father, something she's immensely proud of. if she hadn't wanted to be an actress so much, she would definitely have gone to university to study law, just to prove to her father that she can do anything he could do better. minnie is a very honest individual & will tell the truth ( however, if the little white lie is required in order to save someone's feelings, she will use it ) whatever the situation. she's mature, & has high standards of herself - she constantly expects herself to do well at all times, so failing isn't an option.

- born to eric & stella, a lawyer & a midwife, in northampton, england.
- moved to london shortly after, along with her older sister, scout.
- growing up in london, minnie & scout were close, though she ignored her sister's attempts to get her into trouble, & kept mainly to herself.
- was the flower girl at scout's wedding aged thirteen - managed to fall over & rip scout's dress, something she's still not been forgiven for.
- excelled at school, performing well in drama, art, textiles, photography & design, though she preferred drama & photography above all.
- received fourteen GCSE's aged fifteen ( she would turn sixteen later on in the summer ) all at grades A* - B.
- studied drama, art, photography & french at A level, passed all four at A grade at age seventeen.
- spent years arguing with her parents over her desire to move to america - mr. & mrs. compton didn't want min over there all on her own. in the end, a compromise was found: instead of minnie going on her own & fending for herself in a completely new place, her parents would go with her after she had completed her studies.
- minnie pursued an acting career, whilst scout stayed in england with her two daughters & husband, something minnie disliked.
- learned of her sister's infidelity but kept it to herself - she & scout may not get along very well but even minnie didn't have the heart to tell her brother in law that his wife wasn't as loyal as he thought. started drifting away from scout, unable to talk to her without feeling disappointed & guilty for not saying anything.
- auditioned for multiple roles before landing the role of bliss in in the garden - is still waiting to hear back from other auditions.

roleplay sample.scout couldn't help but smile at his comment, trying to control herself & not kiss him back as he pecked her. she didn't want a peck, but she had to be fair. if she wasn't going to answer him about what had happened to her, she had to at least let him do what he wanted. she squirmed ever so slightly in his arms, glad to find that even though she was a vampire, she was still ticklish. she couldn't be dealing with all this touching. the constant contact was driving her insane, & she couldn't figure out whether she just wanted to carry on, kiss him again, push him on to the bed & have sex with him for the umpteenth time, or whether she wanted to bite him. they both felt the same, the sensations didn't feel different in any way, shape or form. she couldn't bring herself to move away, though. she wanted him to touch her, she wanted him to hold her. even if it might end in his getting hurt .. she still wanted him to touch her. no one managed to make scout feel this way other than colton. colton was different than everyone else, & whether scout wanted to admit it or not, she knew it was true. she'd never stuck with someone for so long before. she either ended up driving them away or walked away herself. people annoyed her. they always had.
she closed her eyes as he started speaking again, listening carefully to his voice, trying her hardest to memorise it. god only knew when she'd be able to hear it again. there was no way she was going to be able to stay here. she couldn't let people know she was still alive. she had to get back to the basement before aleks realised she'd escaped. she didn't even want to imagine what her punishment would be this time. she opened her eyes slowly, finding colton looking at her. it was only natural; she'd been gone for three months & had now returned. this was probably something colton had only ever dreamed about. he probably still didn't believe that she was here. maybe that was a good thing. maybe that way, he wouldn't talk. he wouldn't say anything. scout didn't have the foggiest idea about what she was going to do, she knew there was no way she could just wander on up to her house & announce to her mother that she wasn't technically dead. there'd been a funeral. scout's chance to tell everyone that she was alive had come & gone. no one could know she was alive. she knew she'd had to make colton forget seeing her, but it was going to be hard, she knew it.

scout mirrored his smirk, loving the feel of his palm in the small of her back. she had to tell him what she was. it wasn't fair not to tell him. but on the other hand, was she really hurting him by not telling him? was it better to keep him in the dark than to risk his safety by letting him know she was a vampire, she was being kept hostage by other vampires & now that he knew about her, he'd be in more danger than ever? & now that he'd seen her again, how often did he expect her to come around? how often did he expect to see her again? did he want to see her everyday? sneaking out of the basement everyday was going to be a challenge, especially if aleks was around & caught wind of her disappearing. he could have her followed, he could find out where she went every day & then he'd find out about colton. he could kill colton .. & scout didn't want that. scout hadn't realised she was frowning until she focused back on colton, & she quickly went back to smirking, though it was clearly forced. she pressed her lips back against his, kissing him in an attempt to distract him ( & herself ) from what had just happened. she'd made her decision. she wouldn't tell him what she was, & she'd make him forget that he ever saw her. she had to.
