Los Angeles was great. Drew loved Los Angeles more than any other place in the country. Except for the fact that the air couldn't get any more polluted, Drew could get used to that. It sounded a little cliche, but one of the main reasons why Drew loved this place was because of the crazy and wild nightlife. Sure, Miami also beamed and flourished with night clubs but c'mon, it was L.A. One thing that attracted Drew to the city of angels was how more alive it was than any other place. Well, maybe Ibiza, but he'd never been there before - that didn't stop him from dreaming about taking a holiday there though.
Even in the mornings, Los Angeles was buzzing with life. At nine in the morning when everyone was out and on their way to work, the roads were busy and traffic was everywhere. Drew found himself stuck in the middle of said traffic. Sitting in his silver Lexus convertible, the unknown cinematographer ran a hand through his brunette hair before taking off his aviator sunglasses to clearly see the traffic before him. He sighed as he spotted traffic controllers, an ambulance and a police car - apparently there had been a small car accident just before. Ah stuff it. Revving up his engine, he steered his car into an alleyway to his right. Unsurprisingly, there were few beeps, but seriously, he was late for a catch up with one of his favourite girls, Ember. Actually, she was more than a favourite - the guy had a small crush on the girl for a while now so he wasn't going to be late!
He sped through the alleyway, dodging garbage bins and stray cats only to make it safely to the other side and onto another road less busy with cars. Five minutes more and he was finally parked right outside Cafe Montartre where he'd agreed to meet Ember. He got out and shut the door behind him, stepping onto the footpath as he pressed the remote to lock his baby... also known as his car. Before he reached the entrance of the quaint cafe, he looked into his reflection in the glass window, ruffling up his hair for presentation. He wasn't prepared to look his worst. Winking at himself, he finally opened the door and stepped in with the sound of a small bell. It was a little busy than he had expected, it was morning after all. He walked up to the counter and ordered a simple mocha before handing over the change and being given a number. He then turned around to scan the area for a two seated table, finding one facing the window and headed towards it, placing the number down on the table and sitting himself down waiting for Ember to come... that was unless she was already there. He could be quite unobservant sometimes.
( Ember bby. I'll pretty this up laterrr. )
