loves.
-acting, it's been her passion since she entered grade seven. she entered a lot of drama competitions and always came out on top.
-boys, they have always been her major weakness. it had never mattered if they were just friends or a little more, they have always been closer to her than any female friends she'd ever had.
-music, even though she can't play for sh*t she spends all day holed up in her room listening to the the strokes then at night she's off at the hottest gigs in town.
-films, particularly older ones, like the lost boys and bill and ted's excellent adventure. as much as she likes appearing in them she also loves watching them, its just SO relaxing.
-reading, books take her away from everything, they take her to another world, free from her own troubles.
-roller derby, her playing name is 'lucky liza'. she has been playing this sport since she was eighteen, it takes up alot of her time.
hates.
-smoking, her grandfather died from this. she has donated alot of time and money towards getting friends to quit.
-her family, they have never supported her, she moved out on them at the tender age of seventeen to live with her aunt.
-the fake a-listers, there is no way in hell that lisa would ever become one of them.
-money, 'tis the root of all evil, despite the fact that she could never survive without it. the worst thing about it is that it's what she thrives off.
-bogans, the very bottom of the social chain, she really despises them.
quirks. her laugh is the most contagious thing that you could ever hear, it turns a room of frowns into a sea of smiles.
aspirations. to become famous in the indie world for being in the best movie of the year. to fall in love with someone that will return the favor. to find her best friend, she went missing two years ago.
secrets. her best friend that went missing, she claims to have no idea about what happened to her, she also claims that she wasn't with her at the time, both those claims were false. this happened when she was only sixteen.
her natural hair color is white blond, but nobody, except her parents, know this.
personality evaltuated.
"Hey, I'm Lisa! Okay, that was a little overdone, but whatever. I'm here to tell you a bit about my 'great' personality. I think I'll start with how I act towards others.
"When I meet new people I am generally a pretty open girl, I'm rarely afraid to speak my mind and tell people that 'yes, your bum does look big in that' which occasionally gets me into trouble, well, that's an understatement. I often have a hard time making friends with other girls because of my big mouth, but I really do not mind 'cause hanging with the guys is sooo much more fun. But when it comes to roller derby I kinda HAVE to hang out with the girls on my team, but they're pretty cool, unlike all the princesses around here.
"When it comes to working, I put all my troubles behind me and get in to the job and do my absolute best. I LOVE acting, it is my whole life! Well, almost, hmmm, I second guess myself alot... ANYWAYS, I'd do pretty much anything to make amazing movies that really move people, get there attention, you know? Like, Slumdog Millionare or Juno. Being in independent films is so much more fun than being in mainstream films, because you actually get to know real people with real, original ideas.
"I do have a much darker side to me, I only really let it out when I am well and truly alone but sometimes i can't hold it in. Since depression runs in my family I am easily prone to it, so it makes things tough for me. People often wonder why my mascara has run in between takes..."

history evaluated.
----growing up in australia, lisa was always a slightly-above-average kinda girl. she had plenty of friends at school [mostly guys] and she got on well with everyone. at the age of thirteen her parents bought a mansion in noosa, the town that all the millionaires live in. after that, things started to get a little awkward as she moved into high school, her so called 'friends' started using her for her moneyand pressured her into having big parties all the time. luckily she was strong and ditched them for friends that genuinely liked her.
----at fifteen, her grandfather passed away from lung cancer. this was a great shock to her whole family since he didn't tell a soul about his condition. her parents went on with their lives while lisa struggled in school and drifted further and further from her parents. although she was underage she started to attend college parties, getting drunk. she did this for a full year until she came to her senses and pulled herself out of this horrid rut.
----so she moved to new york, with her family just after her nineteenth birthday and wow, was it a shock. in australia you are an official adult at the age of eighteen so lisa had only just gotten used to driving and being able to vote then suddenly turning up in america and being considered a kid again. one year later, her brother committed suicide and she considered making the jump herself. her parents were always arguing and new york was stressing her out. life just wasn't the best.
----getting into the swing of it, her father found some work for her, just small acting jobs, as extras as such. but that was when she realized that she really could star i an amazing movie, that it's in her grasp.and now here she is!

roleplay sample.Paige sat at her desk in charms, prodding her arm with the tip of her wand. She watched her skin redden slightly due to the pressure she was putting on it, this, she decided was more amusing than professor flitwick. She looked up and watched the short man wrapping up the end of the lesson, but all she was listening out was for those three crucial words."You may go."
Her face lit up as she stood to gather her belongings. School may have only just begun but she had already had enough of being pushed around by her teachers. She threw all her stuff into her bag and swung it over her shoulder in a rush to get to The Great Hall.
As she was half-way across the entrance hall the large blue bow, that was keeping her hair out of her face, slipped out of her hair. Her pink locks fell over her brown eyes, obscuring her view. Not quite knowing what to do, she held her fringe up with one hand while the other was on her hip "Damn." she cursed as she searched the ground.
She gave up after a few minutes and just brushed her bangs out of her face with her fingers. They were threatening to fall back as she entered The Great Hall so she blew them away, her eyes raised to the ceiling. She knew she looked daft but she really didn't care anymore because the only person she truly liked didn't care if she looked a fool. Paige walked towards the Ravenclaw table, searching for his face. When she couldn't find him she sat alone, waiting for anyone friendly to show up.
With her messed up hair and exasperated expression, Paige looked a right mess.
it's not quite my best piece, but it should give you a fair i dea of how i write.
