personality evaltuated. in every society, there's always some asshole that the majority doesn't like. in this working world society, his name would be jasper. jasper is written off as the bad guy, just because it's easier to label him as the bad guy than it is to find him "the good guy". either way, he doesn't mind. someone needs to be the bad guy. after all, what's a television show or a movie without it's bad guy? nothing, that's what. but anyway, let's get the bad attributes of jasper out of the way first, shall we? let's say you walk into the doctor's office and you see some guy inside the waiting room that you think it's better to stay away from. so, you take a seat halfway across the room and grab a magazine quickly, just so you have something to look at so you can avoid eye contact as much as possible. the guy across the room would be jasper. jasper comes off very intimidating. whether it's because of his muscular build or the vast amount of tattoos he possesses, people tend to be afraid of him. it the squeaky clean world, he's looked down upon as the filth. he's not as nice and clean cut like a mother's dream would be, but he's happy with the way he is. he can be manipulative and knows how to get what he wants, even if it is through force. sarcasm rolls from his tongue like a second language, and don't worry, he's not afraid to spit fire when the opportunity is given. he doesn't hold his breath for anyone and is probably one of the most independent fuckers you'll ever meet. it probably was contributed from the way he was raised, and growing up, he's learned to be independent. because of this, he doesn't really trust people, with the exception of a few. he's a cynic and feels like it's not worth telling anyone anything, because they'll eventually turn their back on him and spill his "secrets" to the world. he's been referred to as "mr. grinch" because of his cynics and the way he carries himself. but in any case, jasper doesn't really care what people think about him. people tend to talk, but either way, it doesn't really affect them. everything they say is nothing new to him.
and then of course, there's his little "problem". jasper has been diagnosed with intermittent explosive disorder. meaning? "Intermittent explosive disorder (abbreviated IED) is a behavioral disorder characterized by extreme expressions of anger, often to the point of uncontrollable rage, that are disproportionate to the situation at hand." in other words, jasper has a mental disorder than makes him go absolutely batshit at times. and when i say 'batshit', i mean that things will be destroyed and people will be injured. his anger issues put him through the roof and he can have spastic outbursts of anger. it's not uncommon for him to get into fights and it has almost become one of his favorite past times. when he's off his medication and he freaks out, he feels relieved, but it'll be followed with personal regret afterwards. of course, it came along with pretty little medications that he has to take for the rest of his life. however, there's times when he can't be bothered with it or he forgets to take them. he doesn't like taking the medications because it makes him feel like something's wrong with him. so, it would be in your best interest not to piss him off at all times.
sure, jasper can be harsh and brutal, but he's not always that bad. when he's not out harassing people, jasper's all about fun times with good friends. after all, it doesn't make sense to him not to live for fun. thrills and adventures are a big part of jasper's life. he refuses to be one of those old douchebags that did nothing with their lives and looks back on their lives and regret not doing anything. no, no. jasper wants to be able to have stories to tell. oh, by the way, jasper's not all brawn and no brain. pfft, please. those his high school grades may not have shown it too well, jasper's highly intellectual. he always tries to think of a reason for things that can't really be explained and sometimes, all he wants to do is have a conversation with someone that's actually worth having. some days, he just likes taking long drives with the radio on and just keeping to himself. to be completely honest, there was a point in time where jasper was a romantic. he liked holding his girlfriend-at-the-time and kissing her and taking her out and such. but all of that went to shit and after that, he gave it all up. it lurks somewhere deep inside him, but hardly ever shows.

history evaluated. it wasn't such an easy beginning for jasper. he was birthed by marilyn sylvain on the first of june, back in 1989. marilyn was previously warned that she was in no state to have a child, but she wanted to either way. in return, the pressure of birthing was too great for her body to handle. it resulted in her untimely death, caused by massive bleeding. his father, however, didn't want to come to terms with the fact that marilyn knew the risks. he continuously blamed jasper for his wife's death and he slowly slipped into a deep depression. it got to the point where his father couldn't handle the loneliness anymore. he couldn't deal with the child who had "murdered" - in his own words - his wife. it was then that he took it upon himself to commit suicide in the classroom that he taught at in UCLA. jasper was left without any family and was immediately put into foster care. once within the system, jasper was exchanged time after time by different families who figured out his rambunctious behaviour. they were either in it for money, or just couldn't handle him.
finally, jasper's aunt audrey found him and offered her guardianship. the papers signed jasper over to her, where remained his permanent home. jasper entered her household in a fragile state, after being passed around so often from family to family. however, he grew a strong bond with his aunt, who showed him love, unlike everyone else. he loved his aunt more than he loved anything else. she showed him kindness and care, which he never experienced before. things seemed fine for a while, until jasper hit junior high schools. his teachers would call his aunt and tell her that he got very upset in class and would lash out at people, but they wrote it off as a normal, pre-teen thing. however, it progressed once he hit high school. in freshman year, jasper got into four fights. it was said to be a dispute of simplicities and that other kids started it, so it didn't seem to be too bad. he then started to start fights and get into fights for no reason. when his aunt tried to confront him about it, he lashed out on her. the principal recommended getting jasper psychiatric treatment, which his aunt did. during the first session, jasper got upset at all the questions being asked of him and defensively, he began to throw things around the room. the psychiatrist recommended getting more help for jasper. a series of tests was ran on him, and it ultimately told him that he had Intermittent Explosive Disorder.
jasper was assigned to specific medications, but he didn't enjoy taking them. instead, he found a better solution: not take them at all. of course, it progressed and the fighting progressed as well. detention became his new home, seeing as that he spent most of his after-school hours in detention. it was at school that he met his best friend, elias walker. it didn't start as friendship, though. it started on a day where he had refused to take his medications and elias managed to piss him off, like everything else did. it resulted in a brawl, which got the two after-school detention. in that room, they formed a friendship and were pretty much best friends after that. they stuck together throughout everything - whether it was backing each other up in fights or just getting bitches. they were living pretty good, until college came around. chances were that they were going to different colleges. jasper wasn't too sure what he wanted to do with his life yet, but when elias decided that he would be going to NYC School of Film, jasper decided to go along with him. after all, who didn't want to work with their best friend?
new york city was a whole different experience altogether. jasper got involved with a bunch of things: women, drugs, and the whole she-bang. he managed to keep his head on when it came to school work. it was beginning to interest him, after all. in new york, he stumbled upon a girl that was beginning to interest him as well. he didn't see her as a whore or a one night fuck, like he saw most girls. no, she was different. she was beautiful. he got romantically involved with the girl who stole his heart. they dated for a little more than a year and she had jasper believing that he was pretty lovestruck. well, up until the point where he caught her cheating with another guy from the film school. needless to say, he was enraged and he beat the shit out of the guy. after that, jasper called it quits. he closed himself up again and became cold to nearly everyone. he just focused himself on his work and tried to do it the best he could. the asshole persona hardened as well, creating what jasper is today. with the help of his friends, jasper managed to somewhat pull himself out of the seclusion that he kept himself in, but he was still hurting. he got out of film school with excellent words put in for him and managed to get himself a job in the industry. ever since, things have been going pretty good for him. sure, he hasn't quite learned to lighten up, but he's just taking it one day at a time.

roleplay sample.breezy was always known as "that girl with the tattoos." she'd grown so accustomed to it that it became second nature. hell, she could hardly remember the days when she didn't have any. plenty of people would look down on the girl for having all of the tattoos that she did. they told her that it was unladylike; that there was no way she'd end up getting a good job and men wouldn't even look her way because of it. to put it short, she was constantly hearing that she'd go nowhere with her life and she made stupid decisions that she couldn't reverse. but oh, they were wrong. breezy's tattoos were practically her babies. she was more fond of body modifications than most things. she loved everything that had to do with needles and adding a new piece to her collection of beautiful artwork. breeze always said that her body was her canvas. if it was going to be a canvas, it was going to be the kind that would make people stop and stare.
her mind had wandered to the idea of a tattoo spot as she sat in the glory effect's tour bus. tattoo spots were always her home away from home. well, besides being on tour. she could drive around for hours, just looking for a tattoo spot. whenever she found one, she bursted in like she had known everyone for years, even if it meant that it was the first time she was meeting them. that was one of the quirks to breezy; she'd treat you like you were one of her good friends, regardless of if you really knew eachother or not. the twenty year old guitarist's eyes wandered down to her tattooed knuckles. admiring the ink, she questioned when was the last time she got a touch up on her knuckles. she could've really used a touch up. after all, she was in vegas. whenever they went to a new city, she found herself wandering to a tattoo shop, though she wouldn't always get a tattoo. half the time, she'd wander in and just talk to the artists. artists had some of the greatest personalities and some of the most shitty ones. she'd know; she was one. if she hadn't been a musician, there was a possibility that she would've been a tattoo artist. then again, she said the same thing about being a kindergarten teacher a few years back. without much more thought, she gathered up her things and shouted, "BE BACK IN A BIT." to whoever was listening before escaping from the bus.
it was just like breezy to wander off without telling people exactly where she was going. it was like a game that she played with them; "Find The Breezy". she ended up in the weirdest places. sometimes it was a candy store, sometimes it was a dentist's office. if you knew breezy, you knew better than to let her venture off on her own. she'd get so caught up in the world that you personally had to go hunting for her. breezy used her charming smile to ask people where there was a good tattooing spot that accepted walk-ins and several people mentioned the name of a spot. fingers pointed her in the direction of the spot, her tanned legs and her instincts guiding her. it wasn't long before she stumbled upon the place, her tattooed fingers pushing open the door that welcomed her with the cute ringing of the bell. the place was filled with tattooed creatures shuffling across the room, carrying on about their business. she made her way to the front desk, leaning against the counter. a friendly smile appeared on her lips as her tattooed arms rested against the counter, looking at the “receptionist”. "hey thereeee. i don’t have an appointment, so i was wondering if i could do a walk-in. nothing major; just a few touchups on some tattoos and call it a day." she smoothly said. “oh, sure!” the cheery tattooed receptionist answered, “but you’ll have to wait a bit. our artists are all occupied at the moment. if you wait a while, someone will no doubt free up.” breezy nodded her thanks before turning around. her eyes briefly scanned the room, resting on a familiar face. of course, it was ryder, one of her labelmates and a fellow guitarist/vocalist. she quietly plopped herself into a chair beside him and crossed her legs, leaning over to peep at the magazine he was looking at. "this is either a coincidence or you’re stalking me, ryder," the girl joked, smirking lightly.
