filming started for split decision only a couple days ago, and camp knockout started around the same time. after having finally been reunited with her best friend who would turn out to become her boyfriend and the love of her life was ripped away from her for work. it would be hard on her, even if it was only for a month, because a month in gwen time was actually a year. and by the time he came back she would be sick not having him around. there were warnings he had given her before filming, like to watch out for jack bailey because he was a womanizer. like gwen would fall for anything he threw at her, she hated waited to be with seth for nearly five years, and risking that or giving that up for an a-lister that would want nothing more than to maybe get in her pants was out of the question. it wasn't an option because to gwen she had snagged perfection the moment she had seth as her boyfriend. in her mind this all didn't seem incredibly cheesey, because it was all true, and she had been really desperate for his love. it was pathetic, but gwen sure didn't see it that way.

despite coming off as confident and being very sure of herself, gwen was incredibly nervous to film this movie. her co-stars were a-listers, all extremely well known with the media and if her performance wasn't up to par compared to jack bailey and natalie delaney, gwen could might as well kiss her film career goodbye. she came from stage acting which stressed loud voices, tons of emotion, and large gestures. even though stage and film were similar in the way that they were both acting, one had no room for imperfection the other did. stage acting was really much more difficult because it was live. film gave the slackers a chance. it was something she was going to have to get use to. using tiny voices and tiny movements was her problem. that and she was use to musicals. split decision had no musical numbers! she wanted to demand some. but she highly doubted that anyone would take her seriously.

it was morning, and even though most people would be groggy and not in the right frame of mind yet, gwen walked onto the lot chipper as ever, with a steaming hot cappuccino in her hand she was sipping at. she breathed in the fresh new york air with a deep breath and was definitely ready for the next month and a half she had with her co-stars. even though some people would say her personality was unlikeable, she had been able to surrpress some of her diva like qualities enough so she could actually get along with everybody. jack bailey had taken a liking to her, and she talked to everyone occassionally, and bandit even played her best friend....that she ends up killing because gwen's character is mentally unstable. it was great because gwen and bandit were best friends in real life, but gwen would never kill her friends. the lot was just manhattan, and gwen lived and went to school near by, so it was only a short walk to work. even though gwen would have to go to hair, make-up, and wardrobe, she still didn't want people seeing her in sweats without her face or hair done. she wanted to leave the impression that she was perfect. because perfection was her goal. unattainable but that just kept gwen striving for it!

without seth life had been lonely. even if they had only been a part a couple days, they were always together. she needed a distraction.

LET'S MAKE A SCENE LIKE THE MOVIES IN OUR DREAMS

the last few months or so had been thoroughly unpredictable and quite frankly, the most amazing part of her life thus far. she had just about everything going for her; a great job that was just lifting off, the most amazing friends the world could offer, a nice place to live.. pretty much everything she could possibly ever want. split decision was in the process of filming and truthfully, that was a break for her. only because of the fact that she was able to work alongside people like jack bailey and natalie delaney. jack was your typical, average, male and yet bandit found him oddly attractive and had even managed to successfully hide a small school girl crush that he sparked. the best part about split decisions was the fact that she was able to work with gwen. it wasn't a secret that bandit and gwen were close. maybe to some people a little too close, but that was just the way they were. gwen pastino complimented bandit perfectly and it was such an amazing priveledge to be able to play her best friend not only in the movie they were filming, but in real life as well.

there were a lot of other things going on in bandit's life apart from the movie. though of course, nothing quite compared to the attempts of kate and jack to set her up with kate's brother, greg. it confused the blonde to no end given the fact she barely knew kate prior to the conversation and yet there she was attempting to set her up on a date with her brother. it was flattering, sure, but it wasn't something that bandit was used to. after all, she had no experience when it came to dating. that was the downfall of never having a boyfriend in the past. shaknig her head a little as the thoughts ran through her head, she shoved her hands into the pockets of her dress and made her way towards the set. it was an absolutely beautiful morning in new york. little things like these were the things that bandit loved the most. she watched the people passing her by and she tried to put stories to each and every one of them. naturally, she couldn't keep up given the number of people that resided in new york, but she managed to pick out a few and let her imagination completely take over her.

things were going relatively well for her lately. she hadn't made any enemies, but rather a few new friends. among them were her new co-workers. bandit loved people and frankly, she didn't believe that there was such a thing as a 'bad' person. sure, she believed that people did bad things, but she still believed in the good in all human beings. the way she saw it, every one of them had a story they wanted to tell and she was more than willing to listen to anyone that wanted to share it with her. shaking her head to get rid of the thoughts inside of it, she paid attention to where she was going. apart from the filming, she had a lot of free time on her hands and truthfully, she wasn't the biggest fan of it. bandit was the type of person who prefered being active and doing things as opposed to sitting on the couch at home all day. she loved being outside and she needed to do something with her life. none of that mattered today, however, due to the fact she was filming and whatnot. it was sure to distract her from the trials and tribulations of her every day life.

things were good, but they could only get better. especially since she was going to spend the next few months with some of the most amazing people alive. gwen topped that list without a second consideration.oh the havoc they would cause if allowed.

While Seth was away it was nice having Bandit around. Sometimes she felt horrible that her and Seth went off and did ten million things without their best friend. Gwen certainly didn't want Bandit to feel like the third wheel, and she also didn't want Seth to feel like she was ignoring him. So there were things they all just did seperately. Such as Seth and Gwen going to Paris and Lollapalooza. They would have been much too romantic for Bandit to handle. Gwen and Seth weren't exactly all over each other PDA showing type of couple. They were pretty tame, and acted like best friends just like they had all their lives, just now kissing was envolved, and the feeling of having a significant other in their life to share things with. Gwen and Bandit shared other experiences, like IHAW and filming/working together in Split Decisions.

Of course Gwen was early on set, that's how she had always been, early to everything or extremely prompt, right on the dot. She was excited to see a blonde female walk on set. "Bandit!" She refrained from tackle hugging her. For many reasons. If Gwen attacked Bandit everytime she saw her, then Bandit would more than likely get sick of her. Instead she walked over to her friend casually, but still with a huge grin on her face. "Good morning my love. You look beautiful." Even though Gwen was a kiss ass, she just liked Bandit enough to that nice to her. They were close, my love and beautiful were very common words that Gwen would use to describe her best friend. "I believe we're early birds today." They weren't celebrities, but they were the most famous people on set at that moment.

She took in the morning air, as if the smelly New York air was refreshing, and took a sip of her hot drink. Which naturally burnt her tongue. She quickly stopped drinking it as soon as that happened though. She just held it in her hand by the cardboard holder and was simply going to wait for it to cool off. "Do anything fun last night?" That question could have been suggestive, but coming from Gwen everyone would know it wasn't. Why? Gwen's a prude. "Or are people still trying to hook you up with their brothers?"

LET'S MAKE A SCENE LIKE THE MOVIES IN OUR DREAMS

Ever since she could remember, she and Gwen had been close. It was pretty much and instantaneous like on both ends. They complimented each other well and truthfully, Bandit didn’t really have a whole lot of other friends like that. Seth and Graham were the only other ones that complimented her as well as Gwen did and Graham didn’t really count due to the fact that he was more of a father figure to her than he was a friend. Either way, Gwen was perfect for Bandit and vice versa. Gwen put up with all of her little habits and quirks just as much as Bandit put up with Gwen’s and truthfully, she loved every moment of it. And truthfully, she didn’t even mind when she and Seth did things without her. Bandit was pretty laid-back. She didn’t let a whole lot of things bother her and given the fact she knew how happy Seth made Gwen, she was all for the things that made her happy. So really, anytime the two of them were together was fine by Bandit. As long as her friends were happy, she was happy.

Bands was used to getting to things early. If she wasn’t early, she was really late and quite frankly, this film meant a lot to her so naturally, she was early to just about everything having to do with it. A huge smile crossed her face when she heard her name being called and she immediately braced herself when she saw Gwen coming right for her. The two of them were cute in the best friend kind of way. She knew that there could have potentially been a tackle hug coming her way and she was more than ready for it. Though, when it didn’t, she let out a small breath of air in relief. Bandit may not have been little, but Gwen’s tackle hugs were intense. Well, hello, gorgeous. I missed you she said bluntly. Yes, Bandit loved people and most of the people in New York were beautiful, but Gwen topped them all. At least in her book. In her book, Gwen Pastino was the most gorgeous girl Bandit knew and truthfully, she didn’t call anyone else that name.

Gwen’s question made her laugh a little bit. Especially when she added in the last part of her sentence. It was true that lately people had been wanting to set Bandit up with some random guy she had never met before and really, it was getting a little annoying. Only because of the fact that regardless of what she said, her opinions didn’t matter. If she wasn’t so worried about making everybody else happy, she wouldn’t have agreed to getting to know the guy. Please, you know I’m lame she started with a shrug. Bandit didn’t really have a life unless one counted playing mortal kombat all night a life. I did manage to beat Kato finally. Stupid guy gets me every time she said with a small shrug. What about you? Anything exciting happen in Gwenville?

gwen loved her little circle of friends. most people thought that she was annoying, but her little group loved her and they were really all she needed. gwen knew why she was annoying, she was loud and would almost anything to kiss somebodies ass enough if they could get her to where they wanted to be. that's part of the reason why she was toning herself down around jack bailey. he was an a-list celebrity, and that was the position gwen wanted to be in. she was more talented than most people in the industry, and why did they deserved to be placed upon a high pedistal than her? she could sing, dance, and act really well. that was why she had been on broadway, and off broadway in hit musicals. she was putting her all into split decisions, it was her big break onto the big screen, playing jack bailey's girlfriend and natalie delaney's daughter. she wanted offers to be rolling in after the premiere of this movie. gwen wasn't realistic. but she had her dream of being on broadway come true, so why couldn't this one?

"i missed you also bands." gwen responded with a bright white smile. all those years of braces and good oral hygiene. she wasn't the most adorable kid, but she hadn't bloomed until at least fourteen or fifteen. in middle school was awkward, and since a really young age she had been super skinny. although she doesn't have all of the womanly curves most men fantasized about, she looked more like a woman and than a boy. she also embraced and loved her nose that was too big for her face. seth and gwen referred to it as barbra, as in barbra streisand, who has the same nose. other than just having the same nose, barbra streisand played fanny brice in the original version of the musical funny girl, which was one of gwens favorites. streisand was also wildly popular amongst her generation. her parents loved barbra, and gwen had grown up on her, as well as celine dion and michael bolton. her parents were classic folk, traditional. her dad snuck some classic rock in every once in a while. of course parents refers to the couple that adopted gwen when she was a baby. she has no clue who her true parents are, sometimes she wonders what they're like, but she has no intentions of finding them. gwen grew up italian, spaghetti and meatballs, and so even though her skin was darker than the rest of her families, and she did not carry the same italian accent or roots, she considered herself an italian girl.

she gave a little shrug. bandit wasn't lame. gwen and bandit were probably the one two virgins in new york. they were prudes. gwen didn't like drinking, and going out in the middle of the night and being harassed wasn't exactly their idea of fun. gwen was use to working at night and going to school during the day. but she wasn't in any plays and college was on summer break, so her summer was dedicated to her movie. "no, no. nothing exciting. i put glenda in her ball and watched her run around my apartment, while i cuddled a pillow and pretended it was seth." glenda was her pet hedgehog, and she really did love the thing. she also loved seth too, and even though her statement seemed creepy, it was classic gwen pastino. "erm, nothing too interesting." that was pretty much the first time she realized how weird that sounded. "hey! you want to go karaoke some night this week?" dinner and karaoke was one of her favorites, and she loved to do it with bandit. "we can dress up pretty and everything. and we can karaoke battle people who aren't as good as us."

there were only a few people that bandit trusted with every ounce of her being and gwen just happened to be one of them. bandit was a trusting person, sure, but she'd never risk her own life for anyone except for the people that were in her own little friendship circle. the thing about bandit was that she liked absolutely everyone. even when they didn't give her the time of day or a reason to be liked, she still did everything she could to try and be their friend. that was just sort of the way that she worked. she didn’t have to have a reason, that was just part of who she was and there wasn’t a person alive that could possibly change that about her. she treated everybody exactly the same.. with the exception of gwen, seth, and graham of course. they were honestly the most important people in the world to her and that was never going to change. bandit was probably never going to make it as big as gwen was and really, she accepted that. as long as she was able to do what she loved and be around the people she loved just as much, she was happy.

bandit was always kind of a cute kid. She had a smile that brightened up the room even if all that she ever got from it were ‘aww’s. though, she wasn’t one of those kids that invested too much into it. if people called her cute, she thanked them politely and moved on with her life. she didn’t spend her time dwelling on such simple things. So, the blonde wasn’t exactly.. unpopular in school. in fact, she was liked and she was liked rather well. that was the benefits of participating in cheerleading and being on the dance team and whatnot. she never quite understood everyone’s infatuation with cheerleaders, but she just gradually learned to accept it. it wasn’t just the fact that she was a cheerleader, but it was also the fact that bandit mccutcheon didn’t have a mean bone in her body and everyone kind of liked that about her. bands was friendly to everybody she met and she tried to become friends with the entire student body. needless to say, she didn’t really succeed, but that didn’t stop her from trying. the move from london to the states was a lot more difficult than she planned for it to be, but she adjusted well and learned things a lot more quickly than the rest of her family. bandit was happy, legitimately happy, and she hoped it wasn’t going to change.

alright, granted, bandit played a lot of video games in her spare time, but that wasn’t her fault. seth had a habit of leaving random games at her place every now and then when they all were hanging out at her place and when she was bored she played them. just because she played them a lot did not mean she was good at them by any means, but that didn’t stop her from doing it. karaoke? battling people that are not as good as us? yes please she said with an excited head nod. little did people know, bandit was actually a fairly decent singer when she wanted to be. typically, she didn’t let people listen when she sang, but when it was with gwen or seth or graham or randoms in karaoke bars, she was perfectly alright with it. then I’m going to suggest we hit the ihaw and the ice cream store and head back to my humble abode for horrorfest ‘10 she said again with yet another excited expression on her face. Bandit was easily pleased and an evening with her best friend was just the thing she had in mind.
