british people werent used to the sun. it rained a lot of the time in england, even in the south, which was the exact reason why nate loved living in america. when he lived in london he was never near the beach. his family occasionally went on trips to the coast but not very often. and when he got into his late teens he wouldnt have gone with them anyway. now, living in los angeles, nate was very close to the beach. santa monica beach was one of his favourite places to be when the sun was shining. he liked to just stroll along with his shoes and socks off and feel the hot sand being sculpted around his feet. he would roll his jeans up a little to half way up his lower legs and then paddle in the shallow waves to cool his feet down. he rarely swum in the sea, it wasnt his thing. it wasnt something he would do alone, anyway. he was very sociable and saw going to the beach to hang in the water was something to do with friends. and he didnt often go to the beach with friends.
today, for example, he was on his own at the beach. he wasnt walking along either. he had taken his ipod and a large beach towel along with him just after lunch time. he had chosen a spot about twenty meters from the waters edge and unrolled his towel. he sat down onto it and rolled up his jeans to his knees. he had a toned body, but he didnt often show it off. he wasnt one to brag about something, although he did enjoy having abs. he took great pride in his appearance, so often wore tight tshirts to show his muscles without having to take off his shirt. he picked up his ipod and put the buds into his ears before turning it onto johnny cash. he wasnt too fond of him, but he had recently gotten a lead role in the mockumentary, its daytime, and his character was very fond of the singer. he had figured he should start listening to him in case he had to listen to him a lot on set. he was forward thinking and wanted the best out of his career - he liked to prepare well for his roles.
the sun was hot around mid day and was high up in the sky. he laid back on his beach towel and put his arms behind his head to rest on. he closed his eyes, simply because the sun was too bright to keep them open. relaxation was something he enjoyed, and he thought he deserved it now too. he had just gotten a lead role, it was stressful during the audition process. he was excited to have to act opposite a pretty girl too. eleidh, who was to play his co-host who he was sleeping with, was very pretty. he liked pretty girls. he was excited, also, to start making money. lead roles on shows got a lot of attention, and he expected money too. its daytime was in its second season so he knew it must be popular. the media would flock around the set and the actors soon. and whilst that might have frightened a lot of actors, he was looking forward to it. he wanted to move up in this industry.
