got a rep for breaking hearts ღ
Devon was glad to be back home. Though Jack had moved her out of her apartment without notification. She'd gone home, to her apartment one day to find all her things missing. Her first thought was that she'd been robbed, then she knew that only someone like Jack could pull of such a thing. She didn't have much time to settle into the new place before Morocco came around and she was too caught up in costumes to think much about it for weeks. It had been fun though, and very entertaining to watch her best friend go in front of the camera and do his thing. And of course the other friends that she made on the trip there. Some how she landed herself on the A-lister label. And found all the rumors about her amusing. She knew that it meant more work for her life though; always looking good and strangers knowing things about you. She was only a crew member, but having Jack as a best friend and Silvers as another friend, she was surrounded by A-list people which meant she bits of the fame as well.
Devon breathed in the L.A streets and made her way to the nightclub. She'd directed the driver to stop a block away since she wanted to see her city's streets before losing herself in the crowd of people in the club. She was meeting up with Bandit, another friend she'd managed to make. Devon was almost surprised at how many people she considered friends now. A few years ago it was just herself against the world. Then Jack came along and his little group of guys and they some how weaved into her life and now she wasn't alone in the world like it had been for so many years. After Devon had ran away from home, she had no idea where to go or what to do. But she knew that she wouldn't live on the streets. She'd taken her daddy's 'secret' stash of money and used that to build a foundation in her life. Then she started stripping for easy money and went to college. She'll never forget the day that she actually met Jack. He'd spotted her at the club and after a long moment of humiliation and feeling awkward, they got it over it and now they were best friends. Shocking. Devon had given up stripping after that and found herself part time jobs on campus to pay her funds. It wasn't easy though and a lot of her college memories were tired days and long nights.
Devon happily greeted the bouncer that stood by the door and with a quick glance at the long line, she entered the club and already felt herself getting energized. The music was loud and pounding and the entire place was full with people. She wondered how she would ever get to the bar and find Bandit. Not that it would be hard to spot the girl. Sometimes Devon felt like laughing at Bandit's nature. It was just so different from her own. Devon had almost forgotten that innocence still existed in the world. She'd never been innocent after the age of 5. And by the time she was nearly 16, she'd full lost her innocence to some guy who's name she couldn't remember now. Devon squeezed and danced her way to the bar, not even caring who was touching her and holding her for a moment before she slipped away.
"I'll have water for now." She ordered, once her hand landed on the smooth wood of the bar. The bartender smiled at her and greeted her familiar face and asked where she had been for the last however many weeks, "I was on a gig in Morocco, love!" Devon frequented the nigh clubs often, and never forgot the faces of the staff; she remembered a life like that. After grabbing hold of her water she pulled out her phone and sent a quick text to Bandit, just to make sure she'd gotten to the club okay.
Hey baby! I'm at the bar waiting for your shining face. xoxo - D It wasn't unusual for Devon to send a playful text to the same gender. Though Devon was straight and highly attracted to the opposite sex. Life was full of fun in devon's life.
NOW I AM DONE WITH SUPER STARS.
