say hai to char! she's twenty six years old, an alabama native, and an aspiring actress who lives in new york. she's pretty tolerant with nicknames. char, lena, charli, simone, charmander, whatever floats your boat. just don't call her sim or simmy. she's very absentminded and she can be a real klutz too, so you can definitely use that when plotting. (i love crazy random plots, btw.) and even though she's very outgoing, she still doesn't completely trust people right away so it's not like she would tell you her deepest secrets five minutes after meeting you. she keeps up an invisible guard that's hard for others to see because she's such a gosh darned sweetheart.

- - - - you've got a friend in me
char is easy to get along with. she's laidback, humble, and a goofball. she has a habit of bringing up random subjects and she loves putting a smile on other people's faces. she loves meeting new people and she's very open minded so it wouldn't be hard for her to make new friends. she's not a hard partier, but she will go out to a club or something every now and then. i'm looking for maybe one or two club buddies, a lot of connections, and a few close friends. she also has four brothers so she should probably have more male friends since she's used to guys. i would like if she had a best guy friend (older maybe?) who could have a brother/sister relationship with her.

she really wouldn't find a reason to be enemies with someone, so most of them would be one-sided. but lena might not like you if you're one of those snobby hollywood bitches or if you're a backstabber. but if someone had a problem with her she would just blow them off and keep going. she's not the kind of person who would let it bother her too much. and she's so nonchalant that it seems like almost nothing can phase her. i think it would be funny if someone was jealous of her or didn't like her for whatever reason and they tried to make her life hell, but it wouldn't affect charlene which would make that person even more pissed off at her.

- - - - love makes the world go round
charlene likes gentlemen. arrogant douche-bags turn her off. the thing with her is that she's insecure with guys. this has a lot to do with her past bad experiences. yes from being cheated on and lied to, but mostly by dealing with guys who only wanted to get in her pants and manipulate her into losing her virginity. (yes she's still a virgin, so that means no one night stands.) so she often believes that whenever a guy comes onto her, it's just to play games with her or get her into bed and because of this she can have a hard time seeing her own self-worth.

i want her to eventually meet a guy who respects her values and genuinely likes her. but of course she would have doubts and insecurities about it and push him away. and idk, maybe that guy can help her gain more confidence and get her to open up more? but yeah, past boyfriends are welcome, both good and bad. oh and i would also like a plot where she meets someone who comes off as this sweet guy, but he's really just trying to take advantage of her. and maybe the guy mentioned earlier (who really does like her and want to be with her) sees this and intervenes? idk, give me your thoughtss!
