Riley is very much into designer labels and expensive things. She will buy anything with a high price tag whether she needs it or not. She doesn’t flaunt her money, or rather her parents’ money, in any way other than through the things she buys. She buys things because it makes her feel like she’s worth someone’s while. You could say she has a shopping addiction but she knows when to stop, she just doesn’t want to.
Drugs:
When she’s on drugs, she tends to be very goofy and unstable, much like being drunk. She does drugs for no other reason than to pass the time. However, she refuses to use her parents’ money for such things and will steal money instead. She doesn’t do drugs often, just when she’s bored or lonely. Which is almost never but it’s enough. She wouldn’t say she’s addicted; she just enjoys the release it gives her.
Love:
While it may not seem like it, Riley is a very loving person. When she gives someone her heart, she gives it fully and sometimes irrationally. She has only loved a few people in her life so she’s somewhat new at it and makes mistakes just like everyone else. She wants very much to settle down in a few years and have a family with someone she knows she will be able to spend the rest of her life with. But for now, she’s just not ready.
Trust:
Riley wants to see the best in everyone but most of the time she isn’t able to. While she gives her heart away fully, she rarely does so. She has trust issues with people which is why so few know about her life and her past. She likes to keep it that way but at times it’s impossible to hide it any longer at times.

history evaluated. Riley was born the youngest child of three. Her parents were already quite old when she was born so she was like their grandchild. They would have done almost anything to make sure she was happy and paid the most attention to her. She got away with things that her older sister and brother would have never dreamed of ever being able to do without severe consequences. Through her early years, she wanted for nothing and she learned how to manipulate her parents to get her way. She was envied by her older siblings, even hated at times. They were angry that she was able to fly through life without any worries or problems like they’d had to endure. They were forever trying to show her what their life had been like before their parents had become wealthy by withholding the monthly allowance that she would get. But when their parents found out, they were furious and demanded they return the money plus interest. This only set them over the edge and since she was five, she hasn’t spoken to either of them any more than is humanly necessary.
While in her early years, Riley loved the attention and the constant buying of the things she wanted. It was very luxurious for her and she wouldn’t have given it up for the world. But when she started school, things changed. Her mother was constantly in her business, trying to play the ‘good mother’ role. She was friends with all of Natalie’s friends and would show up at every party she went to just to check in and make sure no one was being mean to her. When it came to grades, Riley couldn’t care less. She had her parent’s fortune, what did she need college or a job for? So she allowed her grades to fall. But this wasn’t acceptable for her mother and she was constantly nagging for her to bring her grades back up. As she moved through her middle school years and later to high school, her mothers interference just got that much more annoying. She began trying to push her mother away by doing things that she would frown on. She took up drinking with a rowdy crowd, she started doing drugs and cursing. She was smoking by age sixteen. But this only made her mother want to help her more. She dove into her life and turned a blind eye to her destructive behavior.
Eventually, Riley couldn’t take any more of it and she packed up her things and moved out. She didn’t know where she would go or what she would do for food and money but she did know she needed to get away. She’d always had a passion for singing and performing so she took that up, using what money she did have to buy a cheap, broken down guitar from a pawn shop. With it in hand, she started singing for money. It wasn’t long until she was picked up by a record label and within a few months, she had her first album out. Now, she’s gone back to college after making something for herself and getting enough money to do so by herself. Her mother caught wind of what she was doing and would send her money. But it wasn’t long until the nagging urge for the drugs, smoking and drinking was back and she couldn’t refuse it. She gave in but refused to use her own money to buy such things. So she started stealing from her parents. At first it was only a few dollars here and there but it soon grew to hundreds. They had no idea what was happening as that money was coming in faster than she could take it out. She has yet to be caught stealing and she plans to keep it that way.
