Sarah occasionally finds herself feeling open to life. She is always willing to try new things and do her best to achieve her goals. Though she has a hard time listening to people and following the rules often wanting her sprit to be free rather than being tied down by a set of laws. She is a hard worker and always is willing to change for something on the outside, but on the inside she remains the same. Her parents drilled hard work will get you far into her when she was little and she has lived by that code and still believes in it. She has strong beliefs in her life and will not waiver on those beliefs. She is always trying to make things better being for others or herself.
She is a compassionate determined girl always looking for her big break. She is always looking around for other opportunities. She wants to become famous in order to prove herself to her family and her town. In her town she was often thought to be the silly little farmer's daughter. She wants people to take her serious as a person and break sterotyping on farm life. Sarah can be very stubborn at times. When an idea or thought comes upon her it is very hard to change her idea or opinion though it is possible with some work. Sarah holds a grudge very easily despite what she may think. If a person does not believe what she thinks she will try her hardest to convince them of her way. She believes nothing is not possible.

Sarah Emma Kelly was born into the farm life in Idaville, Oregon. Since birth Sarah has been forced into the hard working no nonsense field of farm labor, helping out her brother and father out in the fields and with the animals at home. At a young age Sarah became infatuated with animals bringing stray dogs and cats home to keep their cows, pigs, and chickens company. Her parents did mind though stating Sarah had to take care of all the strays if she wanted to keep them. Remarkably she did having only a few fall through the cracks.

Sarah still adored animals. The accident left Sarah unable to care for her strays leaving them abandoned and her parents forced to let them all go. Sarah was devastated which was when she started to dislike her parents and start rebelling. She became closer to her older brother and younger siblings in that time, though a fight over a boy with one of her sisters left her to not speak to her much either.
During her teen years Sarah became rebellious towards the family, doing her chores as told, but also going out late and trying to find herself. Through this she found a theater program at the rec center and started on a path to acting. It seemed as though she was running from troubles at home. Both her parents were having very open affairs which caused a riff in the family. Sarah refused to tell her parents about her new ventures knowing full well it would cause even more problems, but her youngest sister spoke up about it causing her parents to give her two choices as they disliked her wasted career move.
Either go to college or work on the farm. After high school Sarah decided to go to the local community college. She hated it there wanting nothing more than to act. She talked about this with her brother who encouraged her to go for her dreams. After a year she dropped out of college and went to Hollywood much to her parents discomfort. She has not spoken to her parents or sisters since, but still maintains a close relationship with her brother.
Her way of getting to Hollywood was long and tiring. She went with a fellow acting student, but after a fight she got dropped off somewhere having to hitch hike. After two people dropped her off she made it to Hollywood where she found her friend and made up with him despite her stubbornness. They bought an apartment together and both took jobs while going to auditions. Sarah only got bit roles as background characters while her roommate made the big time and moved out of the apartment.
Having no roommate and becoming lonely Sarah decided to take in a stray dog she saw hanging around her apartment. Kola moved in as her roommate making her less lonely and more open to any parts that came her way. Sarah considers Kola her lucky charm as after letting him move in she got a starring role on a soda commercial hence the name Kola.

Sarah adjusted the zipper on her boots. Up and down. Up and down. The only thing that mattered was that they fit her feet. She didn’t know how she had gone from one size to another. Were her feet somehow getting bigger? Four months away from home and already her feet were bloating up.
Really? Were her parents right about the city being infected? She was sure it was just parents being parents before. Now she wasn’t sure. She itched her foot sitting by the café adjusted her baggy purple t-shirt. She had on a pair of jeans and boots. Still it was hot so that could be the problem.
She shifted her body weight. Waiting for something to happen.
Though that was the story of her life right? She was always waiting never getting anything she had coming to her. At least her brother was there telling her to keep trying. Keep going on auditions. That someday, maybe, someday she would make it big. Be a star. Not have to go crawling back to the farm in Oregon. Stay in the city. Sure it was easier said than done. She struggled with bills seeing as acting jobs were few and far between. She was stuck in a tiny apartment in LA living off meals taken from mistakes from work. Waitressing was not the acting role she wanted to be remembered for.
She wanted a career. A job. She didn’t want to prove her parents right. Sarah didn’t want that most of all. She wanted to be something and somebody all at once. She didn’t pay much attention to life beyond her own walls. Unless it involved an animal. She found a cat outside with a broken back leg. She had taken the cat to the vet. Her dog Kola had disliked the cat so it had to go. Poor thing.
Sarah just sighed softly looking at her fingernails. Dirt crusted underneath. Perhaps fur too. Once she got enough money she would need a manicure.
