one two three four tell me that you love me more ,
PHEONIX was one unlucky kid. no matter how solid and happy-go-lucky he seems, there was always something eating away at him. no matter where he goes or how old he was or is. he always tried hard to be good, but nowadays he was starting to believe that a god out there was determined to screw up his life. how was this fair? why would he tease him so? making him talented at sports. being so near to becoming a professional and having a decent wage coming in. everything seemed to perky and then, oh yes, the goodie goodie up there somewhere decided that this boy just was not good enough. what the hell did he do wrong? he was never really bigheaded or spiteful. no, it was just life being a bitch to a person who really needed it. now look, in hollywood. a huge smile plastered to his face as per usual and no complaining. but this time, it was something different eating away at him. literally.
HE'S never really had a proper house of his own. pheonix had always prefered to just rent a property because he liked to move around so much because of the industry and such. forthwith, he was living in a small, one bedroomed flat on the outskirts of the city. it wasnt really glamorous, in fact, far from it. home was no less that scruffy and to be honest, in quite a dreadful neighbourhood. possibly the worst in the city. but it was reasonably priced for the state and phee didnt really spend much time there anyway so it didnt matter. it was really only there to hold his clothes and furniture and to sleep. so really, nothing special. but it was enough to keep him on the scene of where he needed to be for his job in the star-studded business.
TODAY was obviously no exception to that rule. he pushed himself upright on the end of his bed and ribbed his eyes, yawning before throwing himself lazily into the shower that only ever sprouted cold water. he appriciated it though, it always woke him up, which is what he ususally needed after a late night. phee never really drunk at all during those party nights. he'd been told that it wouldnt do his... condition... any good at all. and he was trying his hardest to fight it off. as long as no one knew about it, he was safe. he couldnt bear the thought of people seeing a weaker side of him. it was simply unacceptable. he dried himself off quickly and pulled a black and tartan polo shirt over his torso and heaved a pair of causal, blue denim jeans. he hand his hand through his still damp hair and decided to leave it as it was and left the bathroom to the kitchen slash living room. looking around at the general mess on the floor he picked out the first pair of matching shoes he saw. a simple plimsole design of white fred perry's. look sorted he grabbed a banana from the almost empty fruit bowl and left the flat without a backward glance.
STARBUCK'S was where he was heading. though he did regret not picking up a coat on the way out. his hair dried quickly in the bitter wind and he was practically being blown in the direction he wanted to go in, which didnt help in having to take his mind of the goose pimples that were appearing all over his arms. his teacher chattered and he rubbed his upper arms with his hands. it was already about two o clockish and the street was jam packed full of shoppers that he didnt know. he fumbled his way through the crowd carefully, trying not to knock into people as he went. he'd organised to meet someone in starbucks. but whether they'd turn up was a different matter. everyone he knew were always really busy. but that didnt ruin his outlook on the day. he understood completely.
WARM air filled his lungs as he pushed open the glass door of the cafe. cooking muffins. perfect. pheonix quickly sped over to the counter and asked the waitress who was somewhat attractive for a teapot of tea and a double chocolate brownie.for. destiny.
