Alana really has two sides: the one she shows everyone, and the one she wants to be. To strangers, and even people she's known for quite some time everyone knows her as the cute one. She's got an innocent tweak to everything she does, making people think she's dependable and caring. She gets what she wants because she's that good-girl that was everyone's favorite. She's never had a problem getting guys, but her issue was keeping them. She really likes being in control, and that's why she always leads people on. Underneath she wants to tackle people into bed sometimes, shower them with pleasure. It's not her fault, it comes with her upbringing, and her father instilling good values in her like not having sex until she's married. But the moment before she takes it too far with a guy, she'll remember that. She's waited all through high school and college, what's a few more years?

She likes to act very poise and doesn't normally say a whole lot. She hates girls who look stupid just because they enjoy listening to themselves talk. She's actually very nice, but can come across as arrogant or sometimes bitchy because she isn't very talkative. She is a little full of herself sometimes, but she usually doesn't let it show and she classifies it was confidence, which she sees as required to get through life. If she wants something, she isn't afraid to go after it.. even when it comes to men. Though she'll end up flirting then playing hard to get, or pretending to be very naive just to confuse them. It helps her feel in control, so she does it often. She's not the girl to fall for personality, but looks. It sort of contradicts her whole, "I want to find a guy worth my time thing," but she can't help it. She does want to find the right man for her, but her skittish nature when the clothes come off help her to shy away from most. She's very laid back, doesn't get enraged about much. Her past has taught her it's much easier to pretend like something bothers you than to let others know they're under your skin. She's always got her guard up.

history evaluated.Gregory and Alexandra Sherlock were among the happiest of the Hollywood couples in the youth of their marriage. Alex had been born into a long line of actors that started out in London, but eventually moved here. They were never the subjects of huge roles, but raked in enough cash to be known by some people who stayed long enough to watch the credits and find out who the pretty woman was. But by the time she found out she was pregnant with her first child, her career had basically burnt out. She settled for being an interior designer since her acting career wasn't bringing anything in. She had a passion for bringing others to the level of style she had. Or maybe it was just sleeping with her clients' husbands. It was no secret that Alex was not faithful, but Greg refused to believe it. The birth of Alana slowed that down a lot, both of them falling in love with their baby girl. She was, of course, showered with love from both sides of her family; her mother's large side with strong ties in England, and her father's smaller side with the potato farm in Kansas.

She was a daddy's girl from the beginning, and it only solidified as she grew older and showed more of an interest in sports than anything her mother wanted her to do like school plays and pageants. Finally, though, Alana was convinced to take on a lead role in one production her school was doing and she decided it was for her. Well, more like was forced to decide. Her mother practically guilted her into liking it, complaining she was always doing things with and for her father but didn't respect her mother at all. She was a good actress, it was in her bloodlines after all. It just wasn't what she loved... though she learned to love it and met her boyfriend through doing such a production. He wasn't exactly the type you'd expect to see everyone's favorite blond dating. He was the more robust type, tattoos, a couple piercings, the works. Alana was convinced she was in love with him though, despite her good-girl reputation. By the time her senior year rolled around she knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life with this boy even though her parents didn't necessarily approve of him... at all.

One night after one of her performances, she was walking with her father backstage to retrieve a pair of shoes she'd left behind when her entire world came crashing down. That night she'd had every intention of giving it up to her boyfriend, having sex with him, but it seemed the role of playmate for the night had been taken. By her mother. It was a low blow for both Alana and her father, who weren't really sure what to do next. It took many tears and a lot of hard decisions, but they decided their next move was for the best. Greg divorced his wife of over twenty years and got custody of Alana for the remainder of time she was seventeen. They took off to the west coast so they would never have to hear of that night again, and it was just their luck that a talent scout came to a performance she was in at the end of her sophomore year in high school and decided she needed a career in acting.

That's when she decided that acting was definitely for her. Well, at least the pay checks afterward were. Now she's just trying to make a name for herself in spite what may have happened. She's put the incident behind her and has emerged a different person. The innocent Alana still exists, but underneath is a sultry, very sexy person that is dying to come out and snag herself a man. But she just can't seem to bring herself to go right out with it.. instead, she'll just drop subtle hints and flirt lightly, teasing even until it gets serious.. then she'll back out faster than a sports car with a lead block on the accelerator.
