He’s the “don’t try it at home” rebel who was born to entertain. No, he is not an actor. He prefers to work behind the scenes. But that doesn’t stop his crazy antics. If you are down, Gabe will be there to make you feel better. He cares about his friends and family, but he tends to be selfish at times. He is narcissistic, and very full of himself. There are few people that he acts humble around, one of them being his grandmother.

Being a bisexual, he has developed pretty tough skin. He does not make a big deal out of his sexuality, though he is open about it. Being so open he does have a hard time trusting people. But he will always trust the closest members of his family, as well as his long time friends. He is sassy, and is not afraid to speak his mind. He is not a drama starter, but he will jump into the middle of a situation later. He is nowhere near perfect, but at times, it may seem like he thinks he is. In high school he had plenty of friends, but he had plenty of enemies too. There is no like, it’s either love of hate with this boy.

• On March twenty-second, Gabriel Alan Aldridge was born to a young couple, Jane and Thomas. They were not ready to have a child, at least not together. They were high-school sweethearts, who lived life as it was thrown at them. Pregnancy was just another obstacle the parents had to crawl over. They did not look into adoption, and had no plans. From the moment Gabe was born, he essentially had no place to go. Gabriel’s dads mother, bless her heart, offered to help raise the boy. The plan was that Thomas and Gabe would live in grandma’s house.

• Five years into life, Gabe was being raised solely by his grandparents. His father did not care about him. He went out every night and got liquored up. He was sent to rehab, and then when he got out moved into his own apartment. He had not been with Julian for three years at this point, and had started dating again.

• At eight years old Gabe was content living with his grandmother. He had contact with his mom and dad. His dad was not really much of a father, and Gabe never expected him to be much of one. His mother stopped by from time to time and spent a few fours with him. Why didn’t she raise him? Well, she was broke.

• In middle school was when Gabe began to realize that he was not like other children. He enjoyed watching Soap Opera’s with his grandma, and helped her knit. What other pre-teen boy did that? He sure knew how to connect with the ladies though. Of course, they never realized that his interests would indicate what would happen later on.
• When Gabe entered high school he began noticing his attraction to males. He felt like he was doomed. Luckily for him, he was not raised in a highly religious household. It’s 2010 now, but four years ago, being gay wasn’t exactly considered “cool”.

• It was only two years ago, at the age of seventeen, when Gabe came out to his friends as well as his family. His dad, thinks he is the devil, but his dad doesn’t matter as much as the family he lives with. His grandmother told him she had known for a long time, she was proud of his courage. His grandfather really could care less, but that’s a good thing! He lost a couple of friends, but most of his friends were girls anyway, and they were understanding.

• It was true, Gabe was not a straight A student, he made many D’s and C’s and a B occasionally. His plan was to go to an Art Institute and major in Fashion Merchandising. Where would the money for that come from? It was not like he could get scholarships with his shit grades. He did not even know what college he wanted to go to.

• How about move to Hollywood?! Not every person just wakes up and says “Hey, I am going to go to Hollywood and design costumes for movies and TV!” It kind of just came to him. Why go to college when you can start a fashion career at any time? There were plenty of opportunities in Hollywood. Plenty that Gabe would chase after.

• There were plenty of people who thought he was crazy. Seattle, Washington to Hollywood, California? Whoa, drastic. He needed support, money, help packing, and a little luck if he wanted to make a living in Hollywood. There would be lots of competition. But that would not be a problem for Gabe, he’s aggressive.

• Now Gabriel Aldridge lives in Hollywood, working on costumes for some high budget movies. Sure he is limited, following certain guidelines, but designing is his passion. He is super busy day in and day out, but this is what he came to Cali to do. No complaining.
