K Y R S S Kryss woke up to the worst hangover in hangover history. She had no idea what she did last night, but she knew there were no crazy substances involved, on this so called hangover would be ten times worse than it was. Her hair was every which way on her white and pinks striped pillow case. Leaning up, she checked the clock, realizing it was early afternoon. It was only a little after twelve, and she just remember she had a script overview at one thirty. Cursing under her breath, she got up throwing her feet over the side of her bed, trying to find reasons to cancel. Kryss moved her hair out of her face and got up to open her bedroom curtains, looking at the sunny New York skyline. She decided to pop some advil and hop in the shower. Once her shower was done, she dried her hair, did her makeup, and put on her outfit. Nothing fancy, something casual enough to feel comfortable, but not too comfy so they'd think she was serious. The lovely advil hadn't kicked in yet, but she still had somewhere to be. She called herself a cab, and surprisingly the NYC traffic didn't hold her long. It was about one on the dot when she got out and walked down to the restaurant, realizing they weren't there, she stood outside. Maybe she could have a smoke or something before they showed up. She didn't want to look like a loner sitting on her own. Today was a pretty nice day, maybe she could go grab a smoothie or something? Pink berry was right down the street and it was walking distance. She really did like pink berry, even though it sounded like the most childish thing on the planet. Shrugging, she walked down the street, stepping into the pink berry store. The place was just about empty so the wait wasn't long. It wasn't until she got to the front of the line, when the cashier said something about a machine needing to be refilled, and he went into this pity party story about how he was the only one on staff that could fix it. Kryss, in her normal fashion, looked up with a face of disinterest. She flagged him off and whipped out her phone. She just wanted her mixed berry smoothie, she didn't ask for the life story. Flipping her hair, she scrolled through her instagram looking at another person's picture. "Ew, could she show anymore stomach." she said aloud before moving onto the next photo. |
