his face when she stepped out of the town car was priceless, she never realized how much she missed him until she saw him running towards her. for the past couple of hours she had been locked away in his room playing with his dinosaur set. it was nice to be able to relax and not have to worry about work or being bombarded with the paparazzi. she sat in the backseat of the car, her eyes focused on her phone as she texted back and forth with a friend. as much as she hated the idea of not having her licensce at first, tabitha had gotten use to being chauffered around. it solved a lot of issues of her being late to meetings or to the various sets she worked on. so where am i taking you today tabitha? her head snapped up as she looked at the driver who had become one of her good friends, as odd as it sounded.
thomas, a thirty five year old chauffer who was married to an elizabeth greenleaf. the couple had 3 triplets; jamie, tyler and ryleigh, who were all in the fifth grade. he had been driving for her for quite some time and they sort of had this unspoken bond between one another. he had seen her in her most vulnerable moments and knew a lot of her secrets but he never judged her for any of it. "uh, i don't know.." she mumbled as she stared out of the window. there wasn't much that she could or wanted to do today, if anything she'd go home and grab her pups for a day at the park. however, something caught her eye as they continued to drive down the street, a filming studio yes but the truck she saw in the parking lot was what got her. adam was there.
after getting her driver to turn around and pull up to the studio, she jumped out and headed inside to look for him. it had been a while since she had last seen him, they had ended on good terms but it had been before her DUI and little stint in rehab. she wasn't sure how he would react to her now, especially just showing up unannounced like this. she had been here a few times before, so she headed towards his office. she knocked a few times and when she didn't hear anything she peeked her head inside to see him bent over his desk staring at some papers. "uh, excuse me but i'm looking for this guy named a-damn. you see he's my best friend and i haven't seen him in ages.." she grinned before stepping inside.
